Premier Sports, long time broadcasters of both the Scottish Cup and their namesake League Cup, entered the league fray last season.
With Sky Sports having previously been the exclusive home of Scottish Premiership coverage, Premier joined the party last season and will show 22 live games from our top league this coming season.
As mentioned, the first of those sees Rangers face Dundee at Ibrox this Saturday.
Emma Dodds anchored the live coverage of Premier's Scottish Premiership coverage throughout last season.
While she continues to work for the channel, and has already been seen covering Rangers' European exploits this season, she WON'T be the main host of the channel's league coverage this season.
This season, it's Connie McLaughlin who'll be taking over as the main presenter.
She's no stranger to Scottish football fans having worked across various channels on TV and radio for several years.
McLaughlin has been a key part of Premier's coverage itself for some time too.
She's been the channel's man pitchside reporter, conducting pre and post-match interviews and has also presented several cup games on the channel.
McLaughlin was the lead presenter for the broadcaster's coverage of the Premier Sports Cup group stage during the summer.
The new Rangers transfer special looks at John Souttar's future, Rangers' defensive search and if it's the end of Nicolas Raskin
But now, the big job is hers and she's revealed she'll be leading the Scottish Premiership output this campaign.
Taking to Instagram, McLaughlin said: "We are back this weekend!
"I'm feeling very excited to tell you I'll be fronting Premier Sports' league coverage this season!
"We can't wait to bring you 22 league games starting at Ibrox on Saturday!"
McLaughlin also revealed the rest of the broadcast team for the first game on the channel this weekend.
She'll be joined by Premier Sports regulars Alan Hutton, Michael Stewart and Stephen Craigan, while ex-Celtic star Charlie Mulgrew will also be part of it.
As ever, Rory Hamilton will be leading the commentary.

Noel Gallagher slammed Scotland as 'third world country' in bitter feud ahead of Murrayfield gigs
Oasis perform three nights at Murrayfield on August 8, 9 and 12 and will get a warm welcome from Scottish crowds of over 67,000 per night, despite Noel's previous comments. The wait is finally over as Oasis are set to take to the Murrayfield stage tonight for the first of a three-night run of gigs in Edinburgh. It's a much anticipated event, to say the least, and is the next stop in the huge tour which has already delighted fans in Cardiff, their Heaton Park home turf, and London's Wembley Arena. This weekend's shows at Edinburgh's Murrayfield stadium marks the first time in 16 years that Liam, Noel and their iconic Britpop group have performed in Scotland. And it comes after a long relationship between Scots and the Manchester music legends, who were discovered here by Scot Alan McGee in Glasgow back in 1993. Oasis perform three nights at Murrayfield on August 8, 9 and 12 to crowds of over 67,000 per night and it's pretty safe to predict a warm welcome for the Gallagher brothers. But buzzing Scots Oasis fans may not be so thrilled to discover that Noel previously brutally bashed Scotland in an interview. Despite his now ex-wife Sara McDonald being from Edinburgh, at the time of the interview, Noel went as far as to brand Scotland as a 'third world country'. What's more, the singer also picked a fight with the country's beloved music icon, Lewis Capaldi, considered a national treasure for his down to earth nature, hilarious sense of humour and incredible musical talents. Their dispute first started when Noel said during an interview in 2019 that he didn't know who the Scots singer was, despite Lewis topping the album charts at the time with his debut, Divinely Unexpired to a Hellish Extent, and bagging the fastest selling record that year. Noel said: "Music is f***ing w*** at the moment". He then insulted the Glasgow-born star as he said: "Who's this Capaldi fella? Who the f***'s that idiot?" Capaldi took it well, and left fans rolling about laughing as he took to Instagram to celebrate Noel's comments in a sarcastic manner. While watching the interview, he responded: "F***ing c'mon! F***ing peaked – slagged off by Noel Gallagher! "Number 1 single – who gives a f***? Number 1 album – who gives a f***? Noel Gallagher has just slagged me off. This is dreams coming true." The Someone You Loved hitmaker didn't stop there as he wished Gallagher a happy Father's Day while he filmed himself enjoying Oasis' 2002 hit 'Stop Crying Your Heart Out'. Noel was fast to hit back with a tweet making fun of Lewis, alongside a clip of his then 11-year-old song pretending to cry at Lewis' first single. He captioned it: "@LewisCapaldi you big daftie. You might wanna try and find some joy in your tunes, you're destroying the 11yr old is in bits." In response, Lewis took to the stage at Glastonbury Festival that same month, wearing a typical Gallagher style parka jacket which he unzipped to reveal a top with the Oasis guitarist's face inside a love heart. He then took things a step further by getting a backstage snap beside Noel's then-estranged brother and former bandmate, Liam. Noel was left furious and referenced Lewis' stunt in an interview with Variety. He then brutally poked fun at the singer's appearance. The High Flying Birds frontman said: "F****** Chewbacca should enjoy his 15 minutes. The greatest day of his life that I slagged him off or called him an idiot. "It's the greatest day of his f****** life so far. He's just thinking 'wow'. Join the Daily Record WhatsApp community! "Well, I know you're Scottish and all that but f****** hell. It is like a third world country but for f***'s sake, man, you must have had a better day than this. Surely." Lewis again left fans in fits of laughter once more as he changed his Twitter name to "Chewis Capaldi" and made his profile picture an image of his face edited onto the Star Wars character's head. He was then shown some support from an unlikely ally - or maybe likely, given their history - in the shape of Liam, who called his brother out on the remark. He tweeted at the time: "Moron = The person who wishes aids on other people. Moron = The person who says Scotland is a third world country. Moron = The little one in Oasis with the big head and naff dress sense. As you were LG." Noel later said that every tweet Liam puts out about him was a "nail in the coffin" of Oasis reunion hopes. But thankfully, things were resolved between everyone in the end. Noel and Lewis have put their feud to bed and have even met a few times since., with Gallagher since branding the Scot a "good lad". Noel and Liam have also put their differences to the side, and will take to the Murrayfield stage tonight for what is sure to be an epic show.

Moment Ross McCausland interview out in Cyprus is hijacked by ex-Rangers mate as he PRAISES wingers who took his place
Click to share on X/Twitter (Opens in new window) Click to share on Facebook (Opens in new window) ROSS McCAUSLAND insists he made the right decision to leave Rangers. The Northern Irishman, 22, quit his boyhood club at the beginning of the month to seal a loan move to Aris Limassol and will join the Cypriot club permanently next summer. Sign up for the Rangers newsletter Sign up 5 Rangers head coach Russell Martin (R) and Ross McCausland after the Club Brugge match 5 Ross McCausland speaks to SunSport He spent six years in Glasgow after being snapped up from Linfield as a youngster in 2019, but only enjoyed brief spells as a regular starter in the first team near the end of his stint. Leaving the Govan giants wasn't a decision he took lightly, but he quickly realised his time was coming to an end when the new Russell Martin era was beginning to take shape this summer. But McCausland will always cherish the memories he made in Glasgow. After making his debut for Aris Limassol in 2-2 draw against AEK Athens in the first leg of their Uefa Conference League qualifier last night, McCausland told SunSport: "Playing for Rangers was something I always wanted to do. "Sometimes, though, that's not the case and you can't hold onto things. "I wish (my time) at Rangers would have went better but that wasn't the case. "Minutes (on the pitch) is something I need at my age and I wasn't getting that at Rangers. "I had a good chat with Russell (Martin) when he came in and that was the decision we made (for me to leave) and I'm glad we made that decision." McCausland was involved in the first pre-season fixture against Club Brugge and featured in two friendlies behind closed doors against Dunfermline and Hamilton Accies - scoring against the latter. But when Rangers travelled down south to the home of English football at St George's Park, the winger was left out of the squad altogether for the 1-1 draw with Barnsley. The new Rangers transfer special looks at John Souttar's future, Rangers' defensive search and if it's the end of Nicolas Raskin That's when he realised his time was up in Glasgow. He said: "I would say after St George's was when I knew it was going to happen. "You get a bit of wind that it's going to happen and you just need to prepare yourself for that. "After not getting regular game time the last couple of months, I think that prepared my mind that it was going to be the case. "Look, it happened and it's not really fazed me. I'm here to do well and move on." McCausland might no longer be a Rangers player, but he will remain a Rangers fan for the rest of his days. He watched on as Martin's men got off to a flier in the Champions League third round qualifier against Viktoria Plzen with a remarkable 3-0 win in the first leg at Ibrox. He was blown away by the performance and even had special praise for two men who replaced him at Ibrox - Djeidi Gassama and Oliver Antman. 5 Oliver Antman, Rangers Credit: Willie Vass The winger continued: "I watched the full game. It's something I'm going to do, watch all the games if I can. "I don't think that's ever going to leave me. It's something that will live with me for the rest of my life. "I thought they were excellent. The two wingers - in my position obviously - were excellent, I thought." But now McCausland begins a new chapter of his career in new surroundings in Cyprus. Some things do remain the same, though, as he's linked up with two old friends in Limassol - and two former Ibrox colleagues no less. The wide-man had interest from the MLS and other clubs in Europe, but the lure of working with Connor Goldson and Leon Balogun again was too much to turn down. 5 Djeidi Gassama, Rangers Credit: Willie Vass But before he could answer why he opted for Aris over other clubs, McCausland was interrupted by Balogun who laughed: "Because I'm here!" Then when the winger was asked if the pair did help convince him to make the move, he replied: "Yeah, for sure. Familiar faces. "I think when I narrowed them down - obviously a lot of interest from America as well - I felt here is a great way of living. "It's a different lifestyle and a completely different way of living. "Taking that step while I'm young, when I don't have any liabilities and stuff like that. I'm looking forward to the challenge." He was thrown into the deep end last night as he made his debut from the start in a tough tie against AEK Athens. And it looked like his European dream with his new club was over just as it began as Aris plunged to a 2-0 deficit after just 12 MINUTES in their home leg. 5 A remarkable comeback saw them pull it back level in the first half, though, and the tie is there for the taking in Athens next week. He said: "I think it's just trying to keep calm. We've got so many experiences boys at the back - Connor and Leon. "You just need to rely on them in a way and try to bring an impact to the game yourself. "At times it was tough to get up the pitch but I think in terms of how the team played, we showed great quality to get back into the game and it puts us in a good spot for next week." And they certainly relied on Rangers hero Goldson as the stand-in skipper rifled home the equaliser with a stunning volley - that even caught the defender by surprise, according to McCausland. Asked if he knew the defender had a goal like that in his locker, McCausland replied: "I've never seen it, no, to be fair! I was standing right behind it and it was an absolute screamer! "I don't think he could believe either." Keep up to date with ALL the latest news and transfers at the Scottish Sun football page
