Hoda Kotb departed the Today show earlier this year, and since then, a wide range of actors, comedians, and media personalities have stopped by the popular morning show to co-host the fourth hour with Jenna Bush Hager.
Even Bush Hager'shusband and twin sister got in on the mix and stopped by the NBC mainstay, but it seems like fans have another person in mind for the permanent role.

On April 11, the show announced that Tyra Banks would be in the studio all of next week to co-host Jenna & Friends. Althoughsome commenters were thrilled by the news that the supermodel and former talk show host will be returning to their screens, others used the post as an opportunity to make a request.
'Please choose Bowen Yang as a permanent co-host. He is my favorite!!' wrote one commenter about the Saturday Night Live cast member.
Another fan agreed, commenting, 'I need more Bowen Yang!! Please bring him back!!!'
Yang co-hosted twice this week, prompting fans to declare that he's 'Such a great cohost,' and call him 'a natural.'
One fan noted that while they 'Loved Bowen,' they 'know he's too busy to be the hoda replacement.'
Though there hasn't been any public announcement of Yang returning to co-host with Bush Hager, the Las Culturistas podcaster will be on NBC again this weekend. No, not just on the Jon Hamm-hosted episode of Saturday Night Live, but also on Sunday Today, hosted by Willie Geist.
In a preview of the interview, Yang opened up about his relationship with his parents, revealing that they struggled to come to terms with his sexuality when he came out of the closet as a teenager.
'They were like, 'Oh, we didn't realize this is what we were dealing with. Where we come from, this doesn't happen.' That was sort of their concept of it. And so I give them a lot of grace for that because they just have no context for it. And so we went to conversion therapy,' Yang told Geist.

Theresa Nist slams 'Golden Bachelor' Gerry Turner's claim cancer contributed to split
Theresa Nist slams 'Golden Bachelor' Gerry Turner's claim cancer contributed to split Show Caption Hide Caption Watch: ABC 'Golden Bachelor' divorce reveal, Al Roker's reaction On ABC, "Golden Bachelor" stars Gerry and Theresa announced their divorce, after marrying in January. On NBC, Al Roker reacted. Theresa Nist is hitting back at claims her "Golden Bachelor" marriage tarnished because of Gerry Turner's cancer diagnosis. Nist, who appeared in 2023's inaugural season of the "Bachelor" franchise highlighting elder contestants in their golden years, addressed her ex's claims that the couple split once Turner found out he had cancer. Turner, the first "Golden Bachelor," proposed to and married Nist in a live televised wedding on ABC in January 2024 – but their relationship was over by April 2024, and the couple at the time said a decision of where to settle down contributed to their divorce, which was finalized that June. Turner, 73, in December revealed his terminal cancer diagnosis of Waldenström's macroglobulinemia, a bone marrow cancer and type of Non-Hodgkin lymphoma, and suggested their split was connected to his health bombshell. Nist, 71, at the time denied "a factor in the ending of the relationship, at least not for me," in an interview with People, and she's doubling down on her shock at Turner's claims. 'Golden Bachelor' Gerry Turner says cancer diagnosis factored into Theresa Nist divorce "I was just so surprised that he even said that I knew about the cancer a long time ago," she said on the June 5 episode of the "Almost Famous Podcast" with Ben Higgins and Ashley Iaconetti. "The way Gerry presented it to me was that, 'The doctor said that I'm going to die of old age before this cancer gets to me.' He bluffed it off, like it really wasn't that important, and he had no symptoms, and he still doesn't." 'Golden Bachelor' breakup bombshell: Look back at Gerry Turner, Theresa Nist's romance She added, "I would have never left my husband over an illness." While Turner previously told People magazine that his health announcement "probably will clear up a lot of mystery around what happened back in February, March and April" during the couple's choice to split, Nist denied that their relationship was affected in that way because of Turner's cancer. "We never had a conversation that said, 'Oh my gosh, you're sick. I can't stay with you now. I have to leave.' That never happened," she said on the podcast. Nist also suggested Turner wanted "empathy" from "Bachelor" fans. "Did he want empathy from the public?" she questioned. "I was angry that he would say something like that, but then I am such an understanding person, and I can put myself easily in someone else's shoes. So I tried to see it from his perspective, and I thought, 'OK, if that's in his mind, then I guess that's how he sees it.' Everyone has their own perception of what happened."

Mel B Walks Down the Aisle Before Wedding Without Fiance
While wedding jitters are common, Mel B's latest appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon shows she is ready to walk down the aisle with her fiance. The pop icon, who is now a returning judge on America's Got Talent, buzzed the audience as she hilariously practiced her wedding walk. Though her fiance was not present, an unsuspecting audience member drafted in as the fiance's substitute. Melani Brown, aka Spice Girl's Mel B, will soon tie the knot with her fiance. Ahead of her wedding, she practiced walking down the aisle with a lucky audience member. The pop legend described her fiance, Rory McPhee, as a 'beautiful soul' on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon. But on stage at 30 Rock, McPhee was not present. Hence, Mel B asked an audience member, Max, to help her rehearse a walk down the aisle with her classic humor. With a bouquet in hand and Fallon providing commentary and comic encouragement, the Scary Spice proved her swagger. 'Can I get somebody from the audience?' she asked, greeting her unprepared stand-in with jokes. With laughter and her sassy attitude, the two walked, creating a perfect late-night show moment. Mel B quipped while flexing on her eligibility to host the wedding at London's St. Paul Cathedral, 'You have to be kind of special.' Notably, Princess Diana and Prince Charles's wedding took place at the same venue. Hence the pop singer emphasized the occasion to be a once-in-lifetime opportunity. She told Fallon, 'Not many people are allowed to get married there.' She explained her eligibility came courtesy of her being a Member of the Most Excellent Order of the British Empire (MBE). According to NBC, Mel was awarded the honor for raising awareness of domestic violence. Per NBC's TODAY, McPhee proposed to the artist at her favorite hotel, involving her dogs at the moment. Additionally, he sought Mel's late father's blessing at his grave, which she describes as 'so lovely.' Victoria Beckham is designing the singer's wedding dress along with her mother's. Mel B shared her excitement for the wedding while she talked about it with Jimmy Fallon. She also practiced walking down the aisle, proving her relationship with her fiance to be deeply meaningful. Harry Potter's Tom Felton Returns as Draco Malfoy, but Not in Movies
Tom Felton teased his return as Draco Malfoy during a red carpet appearance at the 2025 Gotham Television Awards. While speaking to reporters, he confirmed he would revisit the iconic role on Broadway, marking a new chapter in the universe. Tom Felton confirmed he will be joining the cast of Harry Potter and the Cursed Child as Draco Malfoy during a June 5 appearance on TODAY, announcing he will join the production for a 19-week run starting November 11, 2025. This marks Felton's Broadway debut and his first time portraying Draco Malfoy since the final Harry Potter film in 2011. Felton said, 'It's very much a pinch-me situation. I let go of that character 16 years ago, and now I get to step back into his shoes, as a father this time, in a new story.' He added, 'The play is such an independent story from the 'Potter' films… now we're no longer children. We actually are the parents.' The production takes place 19 years after the events of the original series, with adult versions of Harry, Draco, Ron, and Hermione sending their children to Hogwarts. Felton becomes the first actor from the original film cast to join the Broadway adaptation. 'Joining this production will be a full-circle moment for me,' he said. The play's producers, Sonia Friedman and Colin Callender, said in a statement, 'Tom's return to Hogwarts bridges generations of fans and breathes new life into a beloved story.' Felton described the moment he donned Draco's wig again: 'I just immediately cried. It was just sort of like a blast from the past.' The Lyric Theatre in New York City will host the play until March 22, 2026. Presale tickets open on June 10 at 11 a.m. ET, with general sales starting June 12. Since premiering in London in 2016, Harry Potter and the Cursed Child has become Broadway's highest-grossing non-musical play. Originally reported by Anubhav Chaudhry on SuperHeroHype.
