Kate Hudson Opens Up About Wanting Her Blended Family to Be 'One Unit' While Raising Her Kids: 'My Priority'
Kate Hudson is opening up about how she navigates her co-parenting relationships. While at the inaugural Newport Beach TV Fest, the Glass Onion actress, 46, spoke about how she intentionally maneuvered her co-parenting relationships to raise her kids as "one unit." Hudson, who is a mother to three, said that she would make "a conscious decision to do things that didn't take me away from my kids for too long." "I have three kids and I have three different dads, and all of them tour, and I made a very conscious decision to do things that didn't take me away from my kids for too long, on top of trying to diversify," she explained. "I like to play the long game and just do different things, so for me it was like I wasn't getting the roles that I wanted to be playing. The ones that I did, I would make some hard decisions and if it took me away for too long, I just couldn't do it because I had to be with my kids and I wanted to make sure that I was the center of my kids' universe and that we had one unit." "That included me going to my exes' tours and being very consciously uncoupled with everybody, and so that was my priority," she continued. The actress welcomed her first child, Ryder, with her ex-husband Chris Robinson in 2004, followed by her second son, Bingham, whom she shares with her former fiancé Matt Bellamy, in 2011. Hudson's family grew once again in 2018, when she gave birth to her first daughter, Rani, with her fiancé Danny Fujikawa. Hudson previously joked about the fact that each of her kids has a different father during an appearance on Sunday Today with Willie Geist. "I've got multiple dads, I've got kids all over the place," she said with a laugh. She spoke further about her relationship with her kids' three fathers in a November 2022 interview with The Sunday Times. "It might not look traditional from the outside, but on the inside I feel like we're killing it," she said of co-parenting with the three men. "The unit that I've created with three children with three different fathers is a seriously strong unit, and it's ours." is now available in the Apple App Store! During a 2020 appearance on The Ellen DeGeneres Show, the actress said she was open to having more children. "I don't know if I'm done," she said. "I'm in that place of like, right now, Rani is at that age where you're like, 'I want another baby.' But once she gets like 4 or 5, you're like, 'I feel like my life is kinda back a little bit [and] they're kinda in a groove.' It's weird … it's like a window." Hudson spoke again about the possibility of having more kids during an interview for Byrdie's "After-Dark" digital issue, which was published on Dec. 12, 2022. "I've been having children my entire adult life," she explained. "I've got my 4-year-old and I've got a kid in college. And I don't even know if I'm done yet. You know, I don't have that answer yet." Ina Garten's number one dinner party rule revealed: ‘Don't bring…'
Ina Garten joined Sunday Today's Willie Geist last month for his Sunday Sitdown Live. Ahead of the interview's June 1 release, the 50-year-old journalist revealed to People the best piece of advice he received from the Food Network icon. In the article published Saturday, Geist revealed to the outlet the important dinner party rule guests should follow, according to Garten. 'Don't bring something that disrupts the plan that the host had. So in other words, I show up with chips and guacamole and [the host] is like, 'Okay, I [already] had a plan for what we're going to do before the dinner,' ' Geist said, adding that Garten says it is better for guests to 'bring coasters or bring something that's just a gift that they can use later.' Also Read: Who is Anupama Nadella? All about Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella's philanthropist wife During their May 19 sitdown, Garten shared another dinner party faux pas - loose flowers, per Elle Decor. 'Don't ever bring flowers that aren't in a vase,' she explained to Geist, adding, 'You're there. You're like, everyone's arriving, and then all of a sudden you've got these flowers and you have to figure out what to do.' This is not the first time that the beloved cookbook author has given dinner party suggestions. In 2022, the Barefoot Contessa host taught Today co-hosts Savannah Guthrie and Hoda Kotb how to set a table for a dinner party. 'The first thing about a dinner party is it can be four people,' Garten said at the time, adding, 'It doesn't have to be 12; it's overwhelming, even for me.' 'For the centerpiece, you can do something as simple as — a bowl of lemons. Get it at the grocery store,' the 77-year-old explained.

Please bring him back!!!' Yang co-hosted twice this week, prompting fans to declare that he's 'Such a great cohost,' and call him 'a natural.' One fan noted that while they 'Loved Bowen,' they 'know he's too busy to be the hoda replacement.' Though there hasn't been any public announcement of Yang returning to co-host with Bush Hager, the Las Culturistas podcaster will be on NBC again this weekend. No, not just on the Jon Hamm-hosted episode of Saturday Night Live, but also on Sunday Today, hosted by Willie Geist. In a preview of the interview, Yang opened up about his relationship with his parents, revealing that they struggled to come to terms with his sexuality when he came out of the closet as a teenager. 'They were like, 'Oh, we didn't realize this is what we were dealing with. Where we come from, this doesn't happen.' That was sort of their concept of it. And so I give them a lot of grace for that because they just have no context for it. And so we went to conversion therapy,' Yang told Geist.
