Jeremy Allen White Named Ambassador for Louis Vuitton as Pharrell Williams Praises His 'Quiet Confidence'
Louis Vuitton has ordered up a new role for Jeremy Allen White, booking the Emmy Award winning star of The Bear as a new house ambassador.
The news, confirmed by Louis Vuitton out of Paris on Tuesday morning, makes a red carpet romance official as White previously stepped out in LV ensembles at the Met Gala in May and the SAG Awards in February. For the former, he wore a custom pinstriped three-piece suit in black with pearl buttons and flared trousers paired with a white shirt and tie, a diamond-encrusted brooch and a gold Jaeger-LeCoultre Reverso Tribute Monoface Small Seconds. For the latter, he stepped out in a black three-piece, single-breasted tuxedo minus the bow tie.

Both the looks belong to Louis Vuitton men's creative director Pharrell Williams who released a statement about White's appointment. We're proud to welcome him into the family,' he said.
After breaking out in a big way thanks to his starring turn as Carmen Berzatto, the main character on Christopher Storer's FX series The Bear, White won a slew of awards and signed a deal as an ambassador for Calvin Klein. He stripped down to his underwear for back-to-back campaigns.
On the heels of The Iron Claw, he filmed a role as Bruce Springsteen in Scott Cooper's Deliver Me From Nowhere about the making of the iconic rocker's 1982 album Nebraska. Penned by Cooper adapted from the book by Warren Zanes, the film also stars Stephen Graham, Marc Maron, Gaby Hoffmann, David Krumholtz, Paul Walter Hauser, Jeremy Strong, Odessa Young and Grace Gummer.

The 25-year-old Senegalese-Italian influencer entered the U.S. on April 30 and departed the country on Friday after being granted a 'voluntary departure' by ICE. According to a statement made to The Guardian by an ICE spokesperson, Lame was held for allegedly overstaying the terms of his visa. Unlike a formal deportation, a voluntary departure allows Lame to return to the U.S. in the future without facing a legal reentry ban. With 162.3 million followers on TikTok, Lame is known for his silent comedy skits, his bio reads 'If u wanna laugh u r in the right place.' In January, he was appointed a UNICEF Goodwill Ambassador. Reflecting on his journey, Lame told UNICEF 'from my own experience as a child fearing poverty, struggling to find my passion at school, and losing my job during the COVID-19 pandemic, to finding my place and calling in the world, I know that all children can thrive when they are given a chance and opportunity.' He became an Italian citizen in 2022, during a time of debate within the country over citizenship laws affecting children born in Italy to immigrant parents. As an Italian citizen, Lame was able to be in the U.S. for 90 days before having to apply for a visa. The TikToker, who is among the world's most followed users on the popular video app, was asked to leave the country after U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) officials said he 'overstayed the terms of his visa,' immigration officials told NBC News. The Italian Senegalese creator (full name Seringe Khabane Lame) entered the U.S. on April 30 but was later detained at Harry Reid International Airport in Las Vegas June 6 and granted 'voluntary departure,' according to an ICE spokesperson. Days after entering the country, Lame—who is popular for his wordless, straight-faced parody videos mocking other influencers—attended the 2025 Met Gala at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City. While Lame has not responded to NBC News' request for comment, Sharks Celebrities Mgmt.—an agency that represents the 25-year-old—said in a statement to NBC News that the ICE report is 'fake news' and that Lame 'did not visit the USA this month to begin with.'
