The PM said that Trinamool has created a complete ecosystem of infiltrators with forged identity cards. "All actions will be taken against the infiltrators, with fake Identity cards, as per the Constitution of India. No infiltrators will be spared, who are hampering India's safety and security. Saying "
Viksit Bangla
" is PM's guarantee, Modi said Bengal can become one of the top industrial states in the country after BJP is voted to power. "Trinamool stands as a wall, blocking the path of development and growth in the state. If that wall falls, Bengal will move ahead in the path of development and become one of the fastest growing states in the country.'
'It is important to bring investment to Bengal. But till the Trinamool government is in power, it will never allow it. In the last decade, the party has created a situation, which was anti-investment and anti-employment, Modi said. He criticized the state for Murshidabad riots, violence and police probe and questioned how can anyone invest in such a situation. Modi raised the slogan, 'TMC hatao-Bangla Banchao.'
Modi touched upon the precarious condition in the education sector and expressed sympathy for the SSC Teachers who have lost jobs and how many families are affected. He spoke about children's future in 'deep darkness' due to the lack of teachers in schools. 'Situation is such that the court was even forced to refer to it as 'a systematic fraud',' Modi said.

Modi also pointed out about lack of safety of women prevails in colleges, referring to the RG Kar incident, and pointed out about the recent rape in South Kolkata Law college in Kolkata.
'BJP has big dreams for Bengal- a prosperous Bengal, a 'Viksit Bengal'-several projects have been inaugurated today to make the dream true. West Bengal's land is full of inspiration. This country's first industry minister Syma Prasad's land, gave India's first industrial policy. This is the land of Dr BC Ray who chose Durgapur for his big vision. Dwarkanath was a great reformer to Bengal and had shown path banking reforms in that time,' PM said.
'Industry had prospered in Durgapur. But today youth is forced to exodus-forced to go to other states. The industries are closed. We need to bring Bengal out of this,' he said.
'Bengal will be the engine of India's growth. We will make Bharat Viksit by 2047. Durgapur gets Rs 5400 crore project foundation inaugurated and the Steel City will bloom. it will help make lives of Bengal easy,' PM said. The PM laid the foundation stone for Bharat Petroleum Corp. Syndicate raj
in Bengal

"Syndicate raj prevails here, extortions done and TMC goons threaten people, 'Goonda tax' prevails in Bengal and these factors block investments here. The state government gives free hand for corruption. This is the reason-investors have left Bengal despite Bengal being the land of opportunities,' Modi said.

Malda migrant worker's family backs Mamata claim of harassment by Delhi police
Family members of the migrant worker who had alleged harassment and torture by the Delhi police on Wednesday returned to West Bengal and held a press conference in Kolkata claiming that they were referred as 'Bangladeshis' and asked to pay ₹25,000 by the men posing as police personnel. Sanjur Parveen and other members of the family who hails from Chanchal in Malda district of West Bengal held a press conference at the Trinamool Congress party office in Kolkata and said that the personnel of Delhi police asked her to chant 'Jai Shri Ram. Several leaders of Trinamool Congress including chairperson of West Bengal Migrant Welfare Board Samirul Islam, party spokesperson Kunal Ghosh and, State's Minister Firhad Hakim, Rajya Sabha MP Mausam Noor were among the leaders who were present at the press conference. 'Four people came to our house and they introduced themselves as police. They wanted to see our Aadhaar cards. They referred to us as Bangladeshis and said that we should not leave the area. We told them that we are not Bangladeshi but Indians,' Ms. Parveen said. She added that the next day four others came with two women and tried to take my child away. 'There I was asked to say 'Jai Shri Ram'. I said, I am a Muslim. I cannot say that. After that, they demanded ₹25,000 from me,' Ms. Parveen said. The Malda resident added that she along with her child were assaulted. The press conference by the family of migrant workers assumes significance as the Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee had on July 27 shared a 46-second video on social media and accused Delhi police of brutally beating up a kid and his mother, who are members of a migrant family from Malda's Chanchal. The Delhi police said that the video shared by the Chief Minister about migrant workers alleging harassment in the national capital was fabricated. DCP(East) Abhishek Dhania, the Delhi Police officer, said the woman, identified as Sanjanu Parveen, made the video at the request of his relative, who lives in the Malda district of West Bengal and is a political worker. After the Delhi police statement, the West Bengal Chief Minister on Tuesday doubled down on her assertion on Tuesday and urged the family to return to the State. Reacting to the press conference of the migrant workers family, West Bengal BJP president Samik Bhattacharya said that the Trinamool Congress should lodge a complaint against the Delhi police. The contending claims come at a time when hundreds of migrant workers from West Bengal have alleged harassment and torture at the hands of police on suspicion of being Bangladeshi nationals in different States including Delhi. In a related development, the Trinamool Congress claimed that 300 migrant workers have returned to the State from Haryana. '300 migrant workers, men and women, were forced to flee Haryana and return to Bengal to escape @BJP4India's xenophobic witch-hunt. @NayabSainiBJP's police raided their homes, called them 'Bangladeshi', threw them in detent ion, and brutalised them despite valid documents proving their Indian citizenship,' the Trinamool Congress tweeted. The West Bengal's ruling party described the BJP government as a 'fascist regime weaponizing state power to humiliate Bengalis'. '@BJP4India will pay for every baton blow, every racial slur, every illegal detention. The countdown to their downfall has begun, and Bengal will lead the charge,' the party added.

CM YUVA scheme turning job seekers into job creators, says CM
1 2 Lucknow: Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Wednesday said the CM YUVA Scheme has emerged as a transformative instrument of social change enabling lakhs of youth across the state to embark on a journey from self-employment to self-reliance. Speaking at the inaugural function of the 2-day CM YUVA Conclave and Expo 2025 here, the CM said: "This initiative has proved to be an enabler for lakhs of youths. Many of them have now become full-time job-givers. The officials and department must ensure that at least 50 youth from each district visit the CM YUVA Conclave and Exhibition so they can gain first-hand knowledge about various govt schemes, startup resources and market opportunities. " He said over 68,000 youth have so far received interest-free and collateral-free loans amounting to Rs 2,751 crore under the scheme. "This is not just a scheme—it's a movement. A golden opportunity for every youth who has a dream but lacks resources," he said."It is not just a financial aid programme, but a robust platform providing mentorship, market access, and essential resources to empower young entrepreneurs. by Taboola by Taboola Sponsored Links Sponsored Links Promoted Links Promoted Links You May Like Villas For Sale in Dubai Might Surprise You Dubai villas | search ads Get Deals Undo The state govt is offering 10% margin money assistance to support budding entrepreneurs further," he said. The CM also launched the 'UP Mart'—a portal for machinery suppliers, aimed at easing access to essential tools and equipment for startups, besides witnessing the signing of 17 MoUs to boost entrepreneurship in the state. Addressing university vice chancellors and youth, the CM expressed concern over the growing disconnect between academic institutions and society. "Our institutions are becoming isolated islands, increasingly cut off from the people and government schemes. This disconnect is dangerous," he said. He pointed out that due to a lack of information, many young people fall prey to fraudulent schemes, get burdened by debt, and are often left with no choice but to migrate in search of opportunities. "But now, this cycle will cease to exist… thanks to this scheme," he said. Reflecting on the 2017 Lok Kalyan Sankalp Patra of the BJP, prepared under the guidance of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the Chief Minister said a commitment was made to promote traditional industries through a dedicated scheme. Acting on this, a statewide survey was conducted post-2017, which revealed that every district had unique traditional enterprises. However, due to corruption, lawlessness, and large-scale migration, these industries nearly collapsed. Turning this challenge into an opportunity, the state govt launched the One District One Product (ODOP) scheme in 2018. "What began as a revival initiative has today become a national brand," Yogi said, noting that the scheme helped boost UP's exports from Rs 86,000 crore to over Rs 2 lakh crore. "Earlier, Chinese products flooded the markets during festivals. Today, locally made ODOP items are finding a place in every household," he said. He added that the Vishwakarma Shram Samman Yojana launched in 2019, was offering training, toolkits and dignity to traditional artisans. "A society that doesn't respect its artisans has no future," he stressed. Yogi also announced that products from Uttar Pradesh will be prominently featured at the International Trade Show scheduled from Sep 25 to 29, 2025, at the India Expo Centre in Noida. "The buyer-seller meet held at this event has become a massive platform for showcasing the state's potential. No one would have imagined such innovation and enterprise from UP just a few years ago. From 4 lakh participants in the first year to 5 lakh in the second, the show is pushing forward our vision of taking local products to the global stage," he said. The event was attended by MSME minister Rakesh Sachan, chief secretary Manoj Kumar Singh, additional chief secretary Alok Kumar, vice chancellors from various universities and other dignitaries.

UCC panel formation not under statutory powers, cannot intervene: Gujarat high court
Ahmedabad: The Gujarat High Court dismissed a petition challenging the formation of the state govt's committee for the Uniform Civil Code (UCC) on the grounds of the absence of members from different religious communities. Justice Niral Mehta stated, "The court, by exercising powers under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, cannot direct the state authorities to select members in a particular manner. Any direction and/or order, in that regard, would be said to be unjustified and unwarranted interference in purely administrative affairs of the state authorities, and thereby, this court would not like to go in the area, which is absolutely within the domain of the state govt on its administrative side. " Petitioner Abdul Vahab Sopariwala contended that the five-member panel, headed by retired Supreme Court Justice Ranjana Desai, was formed to examine the need for the UCC and draft the law. However, it does not have any member from Christian, Muslim, Parsi, Sikh, or Jain scholars. He also contended that the committee members do not possess any expertise in the field of personal laws, and some of them are interested parties because of their political appointments to certain positions. by Taboola by Taboola Sponsored Links Sponsored Links Promoted Links Promoted Links You May Like Louisiana Launches New Policy for Cars Used Less Than 50 Miles/day Bindright Undo You Can Also Check: Ahmedabad AQI | Weather in Ahmedabad | Bank Holidays in Ahmedabad | Public Holidays in Ahmedabad The state govt asserted that the decision was taken by the state govt using its powers flowing from Article 162 of the Constitution. It is an administrative decision, and there is no statutory provision to back the petitioner's demand for direction to the govt for the formation of the committee in a particular manner. The HC stated that there cannot be any judicial review of the administrative decision of the govt taken under Article 162, and since the formation of the committee is not under any statute. It further stated, "By constituting a committee, it cannot be said that prejudice is caused to any class of people when more particularly it is always open for any class of people to make representation espousing their views on the Uniform Civil Code to the committee so constituted. "
