Ross County: Scott Allardice and James Brown to leave Staggies
County suffered relegation from the Premiership on Monday, following a 5-3 aggregate play-off final defeat to Livingston.
County ended the campaign with a dismal run of 11 matches without a victory, with their last triumph coming at home to Kilmarnock on March 1.
Manager Don Cowie indicated following relegation that he believes he remains the man to lead the Staggies' push to return to the top flight.
A number of discussions are ongoing this week to pore over what went wrong for the Dingwall outfit this season, but also with a view towards setting foundations for next season.
Two players who will not be part of the plans next season are midfielder Allardice and defender Brown, who have spent the last two seasons with the Staggies.
Allardice joined County in 2023 following a three-year spell with Highland rivals Caley Thistle, however injuries have limited his impact to 39 appearances during that time.
Allardice said: 'Whilst it was the worst possible ending, I would like to say a big thank you to everyone at the football club from the fans through to the staff off the field.
'Whilst it has not gone the way I would have wanted over the last two years, I have always tried to have a good impact on and off the park.
'I hope the club gets back up at the first time of asking.'
Irishman Brown was also brought to the club by Malky Mackay two years ago, after leaving Blackburn Rovers, and has gone on to feature 73 times for the Dingwall outfit.
Brown said: 'I would just like to say thanks for everything the club and staff have done for me over the past two years.
'It is a shame how things finished with the relegation but I have no doubt the club will bounce back. I wish everyone nothing but the best going forward.'
Seven players who were on loan at Victoria Park have now moved on, with Zac Ashworth, Jonathan Tomkinson, Nohan Kenneh, Will Nightingale, Jack Grieves, Eli Campbell and Kacper Lopata returning to their parent clubs.
Along with that, defender Connall Ewan has joined Elgin City on a two-year deal, having previously had a spell on loan at Borough Briggs.
In the meantime, we look at the remaining six remaining players who are not under contract ahead of the new campaign.

Ross County boss Don Cowie's message for frustrated fans ahead of Partick Thistle clash
Don Cowie insists he shares Ross County fans' frustration – but vowed to help turn their early season slump around. The Staggies manager has seen his side bow out of the Premier Sports Cup group stages, draw 2-2 at Airdrieonians after leading 2-0 and lose 1-0 late on against expected title rivals St Johnstone. On Saturday, they host Partick Thistle in the Championship – just four weeks after the Jags won 3-1 in Dingwall in the League Cup. Mark Wilson's team have also just one point from their first two league games – but their flawless form in the cup has taken them into a quarter-final showdown against holders Celtic next month. Cowie and his players have been under fire from sections of the support due to poor performances and results, and he knows it. Cowie said: 'I share the same frustration, and the players share it as well. 'The frustration is valid, especially for the fans. Like I say, each signing that has come in, it's been like 'that's a good signing'. 'That's what we feel as a football club. We're really happy with what we've taken in. 'But now ultimately it is down to the players. We've all set out our stall, between me, the board and the players, what our goals are going into this season. 'Now it is a case of 'go and show it'. 'There's no reason to panic this early in the season, but we've still got to recognise in the games we've played that we should have performed better. 'They recognise they need to perform a lot better than they have.' *** County's bid, meanwhile, to bring Dundee goalkeeper Trevor Carson to the club on loan has reportedly ended with the 37-year-old opting to remain at Dens Park. The former Hartlepool, Motherwell, Dundee United and St Mirren keeper was wanted as competition for Ross Laidlaw and Brad Foster and the clubs had agreed on the move until January. However, Carson has turned down the switch, preferring to fight for the number one spot with Jon McCracken, who is Steven Pressley's current top pick for the Dark Blues.

Dundee keeper Trevor Carson turns down Ross County loan move
Trevor Carson will not be joining Ross County despite Dundee accepting a loan bid from the Championship title hopefuls. The Staggies are keen to bolster their promotion charge and identified the experienced Dark Blues stopper as a key target. That's after Dens boss Steven Pressley made Jon McCracken his No 1 choice at the start of this season, leaving Carson as understudy in the opening league matches. Courier Sport understands 37-year-old Carson made clear to Pressley his desire to play games rather than sit on the bench in the latter stage of his career. Dundee want the veteran stopper to remain at Dens Park but would not stand in his way. A loan offer then arrived from Championship Ross County and was accepted by the Dark Blues with Dundee starting their search for a replacement. However, after some deliberation, the goalkeeper has decided against the move to the Dingwall outfit. Carson is expected to be part of the matchday squad travelling to Kilmarnock on Saturday.
