Millions of Nationwide customers to nab £100 Fairer Share payment in DAYS – check if you'll get the cash

NATIONWIDE customers will start getting £100 free cash in a matter of days.
Millions of customers will receive the payment through its Fairer Share scheme, which rewards loyal members who save or borrow with the building society.

Nationwide has said the payments will be made between June 18 and July 4
The first payments will hit bank accounts on June 18 - meaning there's less than a week to go.
Nationwide has said the payments will be made between then and July 4.
However not all Nationwide customers will be eligible.
To receive the payment you will need to have opened a current account with Nationwide on or before March 31, 2025.
You must have also had at least £100 in savings, or owed £100 or more on a mortgage by that same March deadline.
Plus you'll need to have used your account between January 1 and March 31 this year.
Still, about four million customers are set to benefit from the cash payment.
A total of about £410million is being paid out.
The building society has run its Fairer Share scheme for three years in a row now, so if you open a current account now you may have a chance of getting the free cash next year.
However there is no guarantee Nationwide will run the scheme again.

Last year, Nationwide paid out £385million to 3.85million people.
Separately, it also paid out £50 to around 12million customers between April and May.
Nationwide also recently offered exclusive access to a top savings account rate for its customers.
Those who already bank with the building society can open up a Member Exclusive Bond account which has a very attractive 5% interest rate.
The 18-month-fixed term account will net you £759 in interest if you put in the maximum £10,000.
What other banking perks can you get?
Banks often pay you to switch to their current accounts, and there's four currently offering switching freebies.
First Direct is giving away £175 to people who switch to its 1st Account.
You just need to open an account and set up at least two direct debits or standing orders within 45 days.
You will also need to pay in £1,000 and make five debit card payments within the same timeframe.
TSB is handing out £100 cash but £15 a month in cashback for six months to those who switch to its Spend and Save account.
Plus you can get either £120 credit towards a hotel booking via Expedia's Travel Credits website or 12 months of activity tickets with the National Activities Network.

Alongside the post, the Facebook user shared a snap of some massively discounted Christmas decorations, including a set of huge LED reindeers, reduced from £129 to just £32.50. The garden centre also had another huge LED reindeer for just £32, plus some other shiny festive must haves. Fellow bargain hunters were impressed with the find, and many stated they would be heading to their local garden centre to see if there were more deals to be had. One wrote: "Soon as you see a bargain, grab it!" A second agreed: "I know what we are doing the weekend." "You can never buy too early," another chimed in. They both sold their homes, as well as a jointly-owned cottage they had renovated, to buy the farmhouse and campsite in the country in Llangain, near Carmarthen, Wales. The site has certification by the Caravan and Motorhome Club for five caravans, motorhomes or trailer tents. It later expanded to include three glamping pods before the couple bought the site - and currently has 29 pitches. Parts of the site needed significant work, as the pair replaced a toilet and shower block, in addition to constructing a new reception building. This cost thousands on top of the initial purchasing cost. However, the council has now ordered the couple to tear down the buildings, as well as the glamping pods. It claimed that the site "was largely unauthorised". The couple, who live in the farmhouse, could be forced to close Church House Farm Getaways as a result. Bonnie, a nurse who runs a private aesthetics clinic, said: "This is our retirement project. We sold my house, we sold Shane's house, and we sold a jointly-owned cottage which we'd renovated to buy this place. We like to see people come and enjoy themselves." Carmarthenshire Council previously refused a planning application in 2006 for 30 touring pitches and a toilet and shower block due to highway safety. It had previously granted temporary permission for a portable toilet block for two years in 2004. Bonnie and Shane said they were unaware the new shower block and reception building required planning permission. They then applied retrospectively, but this was denied by the council who said that the site was largely unauthorised. A further application for a certificate of lawfulness for the three glamping pods was also refused. In March of this year, an enforcement notice ordered the couple to remove the glamping pods, toilet and shower block, and reception building. They were also ordered to stop using the land as a caravan and campsite. An exemption was made for the area that had been certified by the Caravan and Motorhome Club. While the couple did acknowledge to the Planning and Environment Decisions Wales that a planning breach had occurred, they argued that the site expansion could be lawful because it had been there so long. Their agents urged the planning inspector to extend the three-month deadline so that they could draw up a certificate of lawfulness application or other planning applications to the council. But the inspector turned the appeal down saying that extending it to 12 months "would considerably prolong the identified public harm". In the hopes of keeping their beloved site, their planning agents are submitting a certificate of lawfulness application to the council arguing that it is in keeping with its historic wider use. This could help ensure that the toilet and shower block, reception building and glamping pods remain. Bonnie said: "We would appeal it. If that decision was upheld we would have to close it (the site) down." The site has won awards in recent years while some neighbours have backed the couple to say the site was well run, an asset to Carmarthenshire, and that steps were taken to ensure a free flow of traffic when caravans arrived. Bonnie said a council tourism officer visited the site and estimated it was worth £2.6 million in visitor spend to the wider economy. A council spokeswoman said: "As the local planning authority, Carmarthenshire Council does not condone unauthorised development and will use its full range of powers to seek to regularise development in the public interest." 6 The site has won several awards and received good reviews from visitors Credit: WNS

Southeast Asia has been subject to President Donald Trump's steep levies on goods shipped to the US. Although many countries are scrambling to make trade agreements to minimise the impact on industries. Pandora said it was working on measures to mitigate the costs. This includes switching sources of supply for materials in the US. It also said it would ship jewellery directly to Canada and Latin America rather than it passing through its US warehouse.
