The Johnson Firm is offering free tickets to all showings of the 'King of Kings' movie at Cinemark Lake Charles at Prien Lake Mall on Thursday.
'We believe in supporting meaningful experiences that uplift and inspire our community. 'King of Kings' is a powerful presentation of faith, hope and the story of Easter,' the firm said. 'This is our way of saying thank you to the people of Southwest Louisiana and sharing in a message that brings families together and reminds us of the values that matter most.'
'The King of Kings' is an animated Christian film written loosely inspired by the children's book 'The Life of Our Lord' by Charles Dickens. In the film, Dickens attempts to perform a recital of 'A Christmas Carol' before a theater audience, only to be constantly interrupted by his overly rambunctious son Walter, who very noisily acts out the exploits of King Arthur backstage with the aid of his rotund feline sidekick. The performance ruined, Dickens considers punishing the boy, but his wife Catherine suggests the writer instead try to lure Walter away from his obsession with the Round Table by offering him another story about a king even greater than Arthur — the 'King of Kings,'Jesus Christ.
The Johnson Firm said tickets will be available at the cinema on a first-come, first-served basis for all showings of 'King of Kings' on Thursday.
Showtimes are at noon, 12:30 p.m., 2:45 p.m., 3:15 p.m. 5:30 p.m, 6 p.m., 8:15 p.m. and 8:45 p.m.
'Join us in celebrating this season of renewal — we're honored to help you be a part of it,' the firm said.

Is Taylor Swift Announcing Her Next Album on The Kelce Brothers' Podcast?

National Football League Is Taylor Swift Announcing Her Next Album on The Kelce Brothers' Podcast? Published Aug. 11, 2025 5:23 p.m. ET share facebook x reddit link Get your popcorn ready because Taylor Swift could be this week's guest on "New Heights," the uberpopular podcast hosted by her boyfriend, Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce, and his brother, former Philadelphia Eagles center Jason Kelce. Fans were quick to theorize about Swift's involvement after "New Heights" dropped a promotional graphic on social media teasing Wednesday's new episode. Here are the Easter eggs fans were quick to spot in the post: Perhaps the most obvious, the blacked-out silhouette between the two brothers has an uncanny resemblance to Swift. The episode drops on August 13. Thirteen is widely known as Swift's lucky number, as she has incorporated it into various aspects of her life and career for decades. It all started when she began drawing a "13" on the back of her hand during her first tour, the Fearless Tour, which ran from 2009-10. What's more, Swift was born on the 13th, turned 13 on Friday the 13th and had her first album go gold in 13 weeks. Her first hit song had a 13-second intro, and she often puts her most significant songs as Track 13 on all her albums. Jason almost certainly appears to be wearing a navy blue T-shirt from The Eras Tour (part of merch that is currently 13% off on her official online store), while eagle-eyed fans believe that Travis could be sporting a 1989 hoodie. Travis has previously stated that he's a big fan of Swift's "1989" album and that era of her music. Travis shared during a November 2024 bonus episode of "New Heights" that her song "Blank Space" is one of his favorites. It's "a song I'll always listen to forever," Travis said. "It's just unbelievable — everything about it." An orange background, which fans have connected to potential upcoming music. Each of Swift's existing albums is tied to a specific color. During The Eras Tour, Swift painted each of her nails a different color to signify her 10 studio albums: mint green ("Taylor Swift"), gold ("Fearless"), purple ("Speak Now"), red ("Red"), turquoise ("1989"), black ("Reputation"), pink ("Lover"), gray ("Folklore"), peach ("Evermore") and navy ("Midnights"). Fans were quick to point out that orange hasn't been used yet to represent her discography. The promo graphic "New Heights" shared on Instagram has reeled in a ton of eyebrow-raising comments. Most notably, the NFL commented the eyes and thinking face emojis. Access Hollywood commented "We know this silhouette all too well," referencing Swift's mega-hit "All Too Well." Fabletics commented "MOTHER IS COMING! MOTHER IS COMING!" Swift grew up in Reading, Pennsylvania, just 90 minutes outside Philadelphia. Her song "Gold Rush" includes a lyric about an "Eagles T-shirt," which she clarified during her stop in Philly on The Eras Tour in February that she's referring to the football team, not the rock band like some fans theorized. ADVERTISEMENT Wednesday's episode won't be the first — or last — time Swift breaks the internet. In June, Swift surprised the crowd at Travis Kelce's Tight End University event in Nashville with an impromptu performance of her hit "Shake It Off." On Aug. 11, the same day the "New Heights" teaser dropped, Travis was spotted signing a "The Tortured Poets Department" vinyl for a Swiftie at Chiefs training camp. Two songs on that album, "The Alchemy" and "So High School," are widely believed to be about Travis, who famously made a surprise appearance at Swift's concert in London last summer when he stepped out on stage in front of nearly 90,000 fans alongside Swift's backup dancers for her outfit change during the interlude between two songs part of the "The Tortured Poets Department" setlist. The Kelce brothers launched "New Heights" in September 2022, and the show saw another rise in popularity in the summer of 2023 at the start of Travis and Swift's relationship. The podcast has grown to over 2.5 million subscribers. Want great stories delivered right to your inbox? Could Taylor Swift announce news on August 12 before ‘New Heights'?

Theories are flying around the possibility of Taylor Swift being the surprise guest on this Wednesday's episode of the New Heights podcast. The New Heights social channels started off Monday's swirl of excitement with a teaser still of an unknown guest and announcing a bonus episode two weeks before brothers Jason and Travis Kelce were set to resume recordings. Combined with the glittery orange background -- it's usually a non-glittery yellow -- and Jason's Eras Tour long sleeve shirt, Swifties were on the case immediately. Twelve minutes after the New Heights post, the official social account for Swift (Taylor Nation) posted a mysterious set of 12 pictures, all with an orange theme. The number 12 is key here, as it could be a nod to the fact that Swift's next studio album will be her 12th. With the podcast episode dropping on the 13th (Taylor's favorite number), could we also expect some news on Tuesday, August 12? Some Swifties think there is a chance she announces her new album on August 12, with the New Heights episode serving as the first interview. There's an extra tidbit of information around the August 12 date, with Swift's last TikTok -- which was posted in October of 2024 -- showing the singer in Hard Rock Stadium, the location of her Eras Tour shows. She walks right by the sign for the A12 section, and now it might be a hint at August 12. We'll all just have to wait and see, but the Easter eggs certainly seem to be there.

New Easter Eggs For Taylor Swift's 12th Album

Swifties, hi! It's been awhile. What have we been up to? Sitting around passing the time, trying to manifest Taylor Swift's 12th album? Yeah, same. Well...I've got some news that might just make your brain explode from excitement (and it's not a drill this time around). But first, lemme catch up the non-superfans. Ever since Taylor Swift wrapped up The Eras Tour in December (8 months ago, if you can believe it), she's been a She hasn't released an album (or re-recording) since The Tortured Poets Department came out on April 19, 2024. Taylor also had one of her longest social media silences ever, which ended when she announced she'd bought back her first six albums on May 30. On the topic of her final two re-recordings, Reputation (Taylor's Version) and Taylor Swift (Taylor's Version), Taylor wrote, "Those 2 albums can still have their moments to re-emerge when the time is right, if that would be something you guys would be excited about." She also admitted she "[hasn't] even re-recorded a quarter" of Rep TV. So all that to say: Despite what most fans assumed until that point, Taylor's next release will almost certainly not be the re-recordings. So that begs the question: When is Taylor Swift's 12th studio album (AKA TS12) gonna come out? Taylor is known for her Easter eggs, so have there been any thus far? WHAT'S THE SITCH??? Let's chat. First, TS12 theories aren't new. Taylor and her team have teased the number 12 a LOT in the last few months. Plus, her earrings at the most-recent Grammy Awards had 12 stones in them (and Taylor is known for leaving Easter eggs in clothing). At the end of The Eras Tour Book, which came out in November, Taylor wrote "See you next era...", hinting that there might be a brand-new "era" (AKA album) soon. Finally, through even more sleuthing on Taylor's outfits, fans have suspected her next album will be orange or purple. But amidst all these subtle Easter eggs, we've all been waiting for any SOLID evidence from Taylor Nation, Taylor Swift's team-run account for fans. And we got it today! On Aug. 11, Taylor Nation posted a carousel of 12 (yep, 12) photos of Taylor from The Eras Tour, ALL WEARING ORANGE OUTFITS, with the caption: "Thinking about when she said 'See you next era…' ❤️‍🔥" Also worth noting is that Sabrina Carpenter is featured in the last photo of the carousel, so people think Sabrina might be featured on Taylor's 12th album. SO SOUND YOUR ALARMS, because in Swiftville, that's basically an official announcement. Or rather, an announcement that there WILL be an announcement veryyy soon. It's also essentially confirmation that her incoming era will indeed be orange! (See, us fans were finally right about something!) But that's not all: Fans are convinced they know WHEN and HOW Taylor will make the announcement, and it has to do with Taylor's boyfriend of almost two years, NFL player Travis Kelce. You may know that Travis and his brother Jason host the New Heights podcast together, where they mainly (but not always) discuss NFL-related topics. They'll occasionally feature a guest in an episode, and when they do, they'll normally post a thumbnail with a YELLOW background. Well, they just teased a "VERY special guest" with a black silhouette of the mystery an ORANGE background. Sensing a pattern? Fans also noticed Jason is wearing a Taylor Swift shirt in the podcast teaser photo, and Taylor's record label, Republic Records, liked the post. Fans immediately suspected the surprise guest is Taylor, and theorized that she's announcing TS12 in the episode. So how did the Kelce brothers respond to this? They quoted their own tweet with the emojis "👀🧡" — potentially confirming fans' theory!!! Besides, if that isn't enough, the episode drops Wednesday, August 13, which totally aligns with Taylor's obsession with the number 13. So with all of this in mind, it's fair to assume Taylor's 12th album is en route, and it's coming FAST. And Swifties are absolutely freaking out about it, of course. Soooo in the meantime, I'll be crossing my fingers we do get TS12 news on Wednesday, and keeping my eyes open for any additional Easter eggs (because I'm positive we've missed plenty). Annnnd you'll also find me listening to "So High School" on repeat! What are your thoughts on these TS12 announcement Easter eggs? Are you convinced, or still on the fence? Tell me in the comments below! And we're all Swifties over here at BuzzFeed Canada (whether we admit it or not)...so check us out on Instagram and TikTok for more!
