Kim Kardashian's two word response as Hollywood star savages latest Skims product
Kim Kardashian had just two words to share as Hollywood star Anthony Hopkins savaged her latest product release with Skims. The reality star has released a new product, which has been likened to something Hannibal Lecter would wear.
Anthony played Hannibal Lecter in The Silence of the Lambs, and his character's face mask has drawn comparisons to the new offering by Skims. Kim has come under fire for her latest product, which is called the seamless sculpt face wrap and is available in two colours ; clay or cocoa. It is currently listed on the Skims webpage for £52 each but fans will need to join a waitlist to get their hands on it.
The website describes it as: "Our first-ever face innovation is here. This must-have face wrap boasts our signature sculpting fabric and features collagen yarns for ultra-soft jaw support. Velcro closures at the top and nape of the neck allow for easy, everyday wear." This comes after critics had their say on the £52 face wrap.
Sharing a video of him in the face sculpt, Anthony wrote: "Thank you, Kim. Don't be afraid to come over for dinner. @kimkardashian @skims." The video was then shared to Kim's own Instagram page and her 356 million followers.
Alongside the video, she wrote: "I'M SCREAMING!!!" as he modelled the unlikely new product, which has been dubbed by some as an April Fool's joke and had drawn comparisons to the face mask the serial killer wore.
Launching the product on Instagram, SKIMS wrote alongside pictures of the product: "Just Dropped: The Ultimate Face—our first-ever face innovation, made with signature sculpting fabric and infused with collagen yarns for ultra-soft jaw support."
In the comment section, horrified fans fumed over the latest release. One wrote: "Just a reminder to all you young ones, I'm almost 40. Never had a single one of these and used the same face moisturiser all my life. This won't stop the aging process.
"It also won't do anything to prevent a single line or 'imperfection' from forming on your face. To age is an absolute blessing and every line, scar, mark and whatever else is just a reminder of every day life. This is so toxic. We ALL age and what a miracle that is!"
Another added: "Can't tell if trolling," whilst a third penned: "What in the Hannibal is this." A fourth added: "It's the way I actually thought it was April fools day for a split second."
A fifth penned: "State of the world in shambles, people dying … Kim: New Hannibal Lector Nylon face wrap just dropped!!!" with a sixth adding: "This is embarrassing for skims. TRULY embarrassing. This isn't empowering for women."

The musician, who has had three UK number one singles, had referred to a hostage who was abducted by Hamas during the October 7, 2023, massacre at the Nova music festival. He has been held in Gaza for the 668 days since then. In addition to her own thoughts, mum-of-one Jessie included a quote from the poem, which read: "I thought images of starved Jews digging their own graves would forever be confined to history books. To see the past become present is a horror. Never Again. Again." Some, though, showed the Londoner their support, thanking her for bringing the horrors to the attention of social media users. One person posted: "Thank for speaking out about the actual horrors going on." Another said: "Thank you for your bravery in speaking out against the treatment of the starving hostages." It was another emotional post from the star, famed for tunes such as Domino and Price Tag, following ones about her health battle. After she was rushed to hospital weeks after her cancer operation, Jessie J joked: "Apparently it's called… Dramatic? I think that's the spelling.
