On Tuesday's "Fast Talk with Boy Abunda," the Filipina beauty queen was asked about the extent of JK's role in her life.
"Super masaya ako, Tito Boy, of course. Kasi he's one of my biggest supporters and also my best friend," Dia said.
Beyond emotional support, JK also actively contributes to Dia's professional journey.
"He really helps me, especially with the music industry, like he helps me with my music and when I need advice," Dia said.
She consults him for feedback, asking questions like, "JK, OK ba 'to? Are these lyrics OK?" In response, the "Ere" hitmaker would offer his valuable constructive feedback and suggestions.
"He has a different perspective compared to my own," Dia said.
Dia has several songs to her name. She recently released the track "Ina," a collaboration with Regine Velasquez.
JK hard-launched their relationship in February last year. He was also supportive of Dia's pageant journey.
Dia competed in Miss World Philippines 2024, where she was crowned Reina Hispanoamericana Filipinas and then won the international title. —Carby Rose Basina/MGP, GMA Integrated News

Michelle Dee gives update following dog bite

Michelle Dee gave an update after her pet dog accidentally bit her on the face. In Aubrey Carampel's report on "24 Oras," Thursday, the Sparkle star assured that it was only a freak accident with no aggression from her pet. "Her mouth was open, my face was right [beside her], kasi magkatabi kami eh. So parang naganun lang. And that's why the abrasion is actually not super deep. It was just really skin," Michelle said. Michelle reminds the public to act quickly in similar situations. "First thing is get your anti-tetanus and your rabies shots. With things like this, there are no cures, so you don't want to take the chance. I can't miss a beat and I think my next shot is tomorrow," she said. After leaving the emergency room, Michelle headed to Dr. Vicki Belo's clinic. "Dun ako nakahinga after the experts saw what happened. It should heal in the next two to three weeks," she said. Meanwhile, Michelle said that she will release a new music video for "Reyna" in celebration of pride month. "It's very camp. It's a little different from the music video that came out but still very close to my heart. And siyempre, abangan din po natin 'yung second single ko that's coming out very, very soon. I can't wait for that also," she said. —Carby Rose Basina/MGP, GMA Integrated News
