Alex Warren taps BLACKPINK star ROSÉ for On My Mind
The Ordinary hitmaker had been teasing fans about teaming up with the BLACKPINK star on his social media accounts and the pair have now delivered a swoon-worthy love ballad.
The track is a new addition to Warren's album You'll Be Alright, Kid.
Set for release on July 18, the collection features all of the tracks from the 24-year-old star's debut LP You'll Be Alright, Kid (Chapter 1) alongside newbies such as smash hit Ordinary and Bloodline with Jelly Roll.
You'll Be Alright, Kid (Chapter 1) focused on "dealing with grief", while You'll Be Alright, Kid "turns the page with healing, resilience and optimism."
February's Ordinary spent 11 consecutive weeks at No.1 on the UK chart, marking the longest running No.1 in the UK by a US male solo act in more than 70 years and the joint longest running No.1 of the 2020s, tied with Ed Sheeran's Bad Habits.
On the viral success of the TikTok hit, Warren told Variety: 'I am so forever grateful for all the support and will never stop saying thank you.
'I wouldn't have any of this if it weren't for my fans, so I am so appreciative.'
Recounting how quickly Ordinary came to fruition, he shared: 'We wrote 'Ordinary' in December last year, started teasing it in January, and released it in February.
'In the music industry, that's a crazy fast turnaround, but we did that because we knew immediately how good it was. I've never had a song so quickly 'click' and I just had to put it out as soon as possible.'

Alex Warren admits even his wife mistakenly thought Ordinary contained a "sexual" lyric. The 24-year-old star - who rose to fame on TikTok before the track because his first chart topper in the UK, US and beyond - has opened up about his huge hit single, and revealed his own partner Kouvr Annon is among the many people singing the wrong words to the track. He told MTV: "Everyone thinks that lyrics is not what it is. I said, 'Oh my life, how do ya?' As in it will fade into the next thing and to be like, 'You take my breath away, how do you do that?' "But everyone, including my wife when she first heard the songs, thinks it's 'All my life I'll do ya', in a sexual way... "And so my wife one day was like, 'Hey by the way my mum listens to this song, why did you write it like this?' " So many people have made the same mistake, so now Alex likes to sing the cheekier version live. He laughed: "I thought it was hilarious as everyone thought it was that and it wasn't, so now I just sing it how everyone thinks!" Despite his huge success, Alex admitted his rise to fame "doesn't feel real". He added: "It doesn't feel real and I don't feel like I deserve it in any way." The star can still remember being bullied at school after trying to serenade a girl he was with at the time. He recalled: "I was in fifth grade and I was dating this girl. "I decided to sing Grenade by Bruno Mars and dedicate it to her and I remember I walked right out, and I go, 'This is for...' and I said her name. "But immediately the stage fright hit and I sat there doing a dance, I looked super, super... it was bad, it was really bad. "And that is what kids made fun of me for all throughout middle school and high school, and I gave up when I turned 18 funny enough. (sic)"

New BLACKPINK mini-album rumoured for November release
BLACKPINK are rumoured to be releasing a new mini-album later this year. The South Korean girl group's record label, YG Entertainment, has responded to a report from My Daily Korea that claimed the EP will have a November release date. YG told Newsen: 'We will announce it later through official promotions.' The outlet's mole also claimed the girls will work on more new music during their break from their Deadline World Tour, which pauses this month until October. In July, the K-pop group released the Diplo-produced single JUMP. It marked their first music since JENNIE, ROSÉ, LISA and JISOO embarked on successful solo careers. Their last EP was 2019's Kill This Love, with their album Born Pink following in 2022. Meanwhile, ROSÉ was left "beyond shocked" and "speechless" over her eight MTV Video Music Awards (VMAs) nominations. US country hip-hop stars to headline new Perth festival
Jelly Roll and Shaboozey are set to perform in Australia for the first time at Strummingbird — an inaugural country music festival. Festival organisers dropped the star-studded lineup on Thursday after announcing the new event last week, which will hit the Sunshine Coast on October 25 and Newcastle on November 1 before stopping in Perth at Claremont Showgrounds on November 2. Headliner Jelly Roll will head Down Under for Strummingbird, from the team behind Spilt Milk, marking his first-ever visit here. Global sensation Shaboozey will also make his Aussie debut, alongside the likes of Treaty Oak Revival, James Johnston, Kaylee Bell, Matt Hansen and Hot Dub Time Machine with a rock and country-centric set. It's exciting news for fans after four-time Grammy-nominated Jelly Roll's latest album, Beautifully Broken, debuted at number one on the Billboard Top 200 charts last year.
