IPL 2025: Shreyas Iyer's sister Shresta hits back at trolls after PBKS' loss vs RCB

Shreyas Iyer's sister Shresta has hit back at trolls after Punjab Kings' (PBKS) loss against Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) in Match 37 of the Indian Premier League 2025 (IPL 2025). RCB managed to avenge their previous loss against Punjab, beating them by seven wickets in Mullanpur, Chandigarh.Following the game, Shresta Iyer revealed that she was subjected to trolling by a section of fans for Punjab's loss. However, she was quick to put them in their place through a long post on her Instagram account, mentioning their shallow mindset of going after the player's family.advertisement"It's honestly disappointing to see people stoop so low as to blame the family for simply showing up to support. Whether we're physically present or cheering from afar, our support for the team is unwavering. To those pointing fingers at me, your shallow mindset is not only laughable, it's embarrassing. I've been there for countless matches, India's and others and most of them ended in victory. But I guess when you're busy trolling from behind a screen, facts don't matter,' wrote Shresta on her Instagram story.
Furthermore, Shresta said that the criticism wouldn't stop her from supporting her brother and his team.'I am, and always will be, a proud and positive supporter of my brother and his team. Your baseless criticism doesn't shake me, it just shows your ignorance. Win or lose, I'll be right there supporting them, because that's what real support looks like. Today just wasn't their day. But losses are a part of the game, something you'd know if you had ever done more than type out hate online. So next time, think twice before coming for someone, who's actually doing what you can't...Showing up,' she added.

RCB's social media handle also dug out an 11-year-old tweet from Bollywood actor Salman Khan to further ignite fan wars between the two team. After their win, RCB climbed to third spot on the points table with ten points to their name. Watch: American workers gets a tasty surprise from Indian homeowner

Credit: Instagram/@sealcoatinguys When people migrate to new places, they don't just carry suitcases—they carry their culture, habits, and food with them. These everyday pieces of home quietly blend into new surroundings, creating moments of connection that transcend borders. A recent video from Minnesota is a perfect example—where an Indian woman's warm gesture of offering vada and chutney brought smiles to an unsuspecting group of American workers. The surprise came for a team of American construction workers from The Sealcoating Guys , an asphalt company, while they were busy working outside a home. Out walked the homeowner, an Indian woman dressed simply in her nightwear with a dupatta casually thrown over her shoulders—carrying two plates piled with freshly made vada and coconut chutney. View this post on Instagram A post shared by ColorsTV (@colorstv) The crew's reaction was pure joy. 'Thank you so much,' they said, smiling widely as she handed them the plates. One curious worker asked what the dish was. 'Vada,' she replied, pausing before adding with a smile, 'Like a donut—but not sweet. Spicy only.' The men dove in, savoring every bite. 'Fire,' one of them exclaimed in appreciation, clearly enjoying the crispy, spicy treat. The video, shared by the company on Instagram, quickly went viral—not just because of the food, but because of the gesture. by Taboola by Taboola Sponsored Links Sponsored Links Promoted Links Promoted Links You May Like 5 Books Warren Buffett Wants You to Read In 2025 Blinkist: Warren Buffett's Reading List Undo The video has about 13.6 million views and thousands of comments.
