Katy Perry's 'real reason' for reuniting with ex Orlando Bloom days after split
Katy Perry surprised fans when she was spotted back with Orlando Bloom on a lavish holiday despite their recent split. The pop star, 40, announced her split from the actor, 48, last week but their latest public appearance left heads scratching.
They were spotted with newlyweds Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sanchez on what appeared to be part of the couple's honeymoon. Katy and Orlando, who said they are now focusing on co-parenting their daughter Daisy Dove, hopped on board Bezos' superyacht in the Mediterranean with their little girl. It came just days after the former couple revealed they had decided to "shift" their relationship to focus on just parenting. Many expected they would want to be apart from each other as they navigate the new chapter.
Instead, Katy and Orlando appeared relaxed and happy as they spent time with the newlyweds in their Honeymoon bliss. Reports have claimed the pair split in early June but still decided to go-ahead with their summer holiday plans in Italy.
Lauren and Jeff joined in the trip as they had lunch together on a yacht off the Amalfi Coast. The recent bride is thought to have flew in for the lunch date from their mega-yacht, which is currently in Croatia.
Katy and Orlando have surrounded themselves with their nearest and dearest as they are thought to also be with the Pirates of the Caribbean star's son Flynn, 14, and his sister Samantha. Orlando's manager is also thought to be on the trip.
The former pair are believed to have already split by the time Orlando headed Down Under to visit Katy with their daughter while she performed on tour. Katy is said to have felt "raw" and was tearful at the time, according to Daily Mail.
However, the pair have been trying their best to get through the split as best as possible. It has been claimed back in May, when the holiday was planned, it was clear things were turning sour.
The Italian trip was considered to be a break-up holiday, according to the publication. Katy, who missed Bezos and Sanchez's extravagant £48 million wedding in Venice while touring in Australia, may have been making up for lost time when she spent time with the couple.
In photos from the lunch date, the Dark Horse singer looked at ease as she enjoyed the Italian coast and watched Orlando play affectionately with their daughter. Orlando, for his part, seemed equally content as he was seen throwing Daisy into the air before catching her and kissing her on the cheek.
Last week, the pair officially called it quits on their nine-year romance - six years after the Pirates of The Caribbean actor popped the question.
In a statement, their respective representatives declared: "Orlando and Katy have been shifting their relationship over the past many months to focus on coparenting. They will continue to be seen together as a family, as their shared priority is - and always will be - raising their daughter with love, stability and mutual respect."

EXCLUSIVE Influencer who was brutally mocked for swimming in SEWAGE hits out at critics: 'I loved it'
An influencer who was brutally mocked for swimming in sewage has hit out at critics as she insisted that it has actually improved her skin. Michelle Sky Hayward, 33, from Cape Town, South Africa, recently left people all across the globe disgusted when she posted a video of herself splashing around in what she now believes was poop. In the video, she appeared confused as she went for her morning dip and noticed the water was murkier and foamier than usual. Even so, she continued on with her swim, getting the mysterious brown foam all over her body, hair, and face - and even accidentally swallowing some at one point. Afterwards, horrified viewers rushed to the comment section to warn her that what she was swimming in was likely sewage. Now, she has spoken exclusively about the ordeal with the Daily Mail, and she insisted that while she was 'horrified' by the realization, she hasn't had any negative side affects. She explained that it hasn't made her sick at all, in fact, she thinks it's been beneficial for her skin. 'It didn't make me sick at all which is great. I've been feeling really good ever since which I am very grateful for because I know a lot of people were worried,' she shared. Michelle Sky Hayward, 33, from South Africa, left people all across the globe disgusted when she posted a video of herself splashing around in what she now believes was poop 'Some people pointed out that my skin has been glowing ever since, so who knows, maybe it was beneficial to my skin.' While chatting with the Daily Mail, Michelle explained that she swims at that beach at least once a week and had never seen foam like that in it before - but she didn't think much of it. She added that she was in the water for roughly 15 minutes. 'I loved the foam because it made me think of a bubble bath. It also seemed to make the water warmer so I didn't get too cold at first,' she explained. 'I had no idea what it was, I thought it was just because of the stormy weather and big waves nearby.' The social media star added, 'I didn't notice an unusual smell about it but it did definitely taste more salty than usual.' After she posted the clip to her Instagram, she said she was 'horrified' to see all the comments about it possibly being sewage. 'The comments pointed out that there had been a sewerage spill in the area and I know that that does sometimes happen at our beaches,' she continued. But in the end, she said she's not too concerned. 'All in all I'm not too upset because in the end I had a great time in the ocean and no one really knows for sure what it was,' she concluded. One comment from Michelle's original video read, 'The situation in Cape Town - the city has sewage treatment plants, but it still discharges part of the effluents into the ocean, especially in coastal areas like Green Point, Camps Bay, and Hout Bay. 'These discharges are often only primary-treated sewage or even raw sewage, depending on the area and the system's capacity. 'The historical justification was that ocean currents would dilute the waste, which is now heavily questioned by environmentalists and local researchers.' 'It's all over her face,' someone else wrote with some throwing up emojis. 'I'm not kidding, I almost puked,' another user announced. Many others shared their disgust while some slammed her for not figuring out what it was. In a follow-up video shared to her Instagram, Michelle addressed some of the negative comments. 'No, I did not get sick. If anything, it even boosted my immune system because I've been feeling great ever since, so who knows,' she said. 'I didn't actually smell anything, it just smelled like the normal ocean smell. I did notice that the water was super murky and it's very clear in that spot [usually], there was also a lot of foam that I hadn't seen before. 'But guys, honestly, I love the foam. I loved it, I felt like I was in a bubble bath, it was so cool. I literally felt like a mermaid in a bubble bath. I was having so much fun. 'The water felt a bit warmer than usual so I was having the time of my life, it was amazing. I actually had no idea [it was sewage].'

Holidaymakers lounging on the beach can be seen grabbing their phones to film the heart-stopping stunt, with several screaming in shock as the jet thundered overhead. In another clip, groups of spectators watching from a nearby hill can be heard raising their voices in alarm as the supersonic beast tore through the air. The hair-raising display took place during the nineteenth edition of the Gijón Air Festival, held on Sunday over San Lorenzo Bay in Asturias. Around 250,000 people flock to the annual event, which has been wowing crowds since 2006 and is considered one of Spain's biggest aeronautical spectacles. After its perilous near-miss, the fighter jet continued its flight away from the crowded shoreline, leaving shaken tourists staring in disbelief. But online, viewers were divided over whether the death-defying maneuver was intentional — or a risky slip-up. 'Very risky maneuver... is that allowed?' one user asked on TikTok. Another on Reddit suggested: 'For me it looked like he lost too much height during the roll and pulled up too hard, making him lose a lot of speed, unintentionally. 'Could be the perspective, too.' Shock moment beachgoers surrounded by smoke as raging wildfires in Italian hols hotspot Others, however, were left awestruck. One thrilled festival-goer declared: 'I witnessed that live and it was one of the best things I've seen in a long time.' It comes as terrified beachgoers in Sardinia were forced to flee when a raging wildfire tore across the popular Punta Molentis coastline. Holidaymakers dropped towels and sunbeds as smoke engulfed the golden sand, with flames creeping right up to the water's edge in the blistering 34C heat. More than 100 people had to be rescued by sea after escape routes were cut off, while firefighters battled the inferno with Canadair water bombers, helicopters and even an Italian Air Force aircraft. Cars parked by the shore were left reduced to twisted metal after the blaze ripped through a beach parking area, torching around 200 vehicles and a kiosk. Local media said a 'jewel' of the Sarrabus coast had been destroyed, with footage showing families scrambling to safety as thick plumes of grey and black smoke filled the sky. The Sardinia fire is the latest in a series of Mediterranean infernos, with Turkey enduring a deadly 50C heatwave that has already claimed four lives and forced 3,500 people to evacuate. Greece has also been ravaged, with wildfires sweeping villages near Athens and scorching parts of the Aegean islands after a week-long heatwave pushed temperatures beyond 45C. A blaze even tore through a northern suburb of Athens at the weekend, forcing panicked residents to flee their homes. 5 The combat aircraft was seen spewing puffs of black smoke Credit: X
