Tom Brady's Birmingham break all-time EFL points record in just second season in charge of League One champions
The club's 2-0 win over Blackpool on Wednesday evening took their overall points total up to 108 - two more than the record previously set by Reading (106) in the 2005-06 Championship season.

Ethan Laird broke the deadlock in the 39th minute before striker Alfie May secured the win at the start of the second half.
Birmingham, co-owned by NFL legend Tom Brady, still have one more game left to play - against Cambridge United.
The Blues were promoted back to the Championship earlier this month and clinched the League One title just days later.
They have lost just three games all season and now remain 19 points clear of second-placed Wrexham.
After lifting the trophy on home soil at St Andrew's last week, manager Chris Davies said: "It's an incredible achievement.
"I really have to reiterate that. I don't want people to start taking this for granted and thinking that we just won another game.
"We just got the most points any team in the history of English football have got in this league.
"It's an incredible achievement of how consistent the players have been, with all the ups and downs you have through a season, and injuries and everything else.
"They've done exceptionally well, so it's an achievement that will be hard to match, 105 points in a season and I'm very, very proud of everyone.
"We're unbeaten in the league at home, so I wanted to finish strong today. We scored some good goals, it was a dominant performance - a really good way to finish."

The study also revealed that 35% of football enthusiasts maintain a bucket list of grounds they aspire to visit, with 18% of these supporters having identified as many as five venues to experience some day. On home soil, Liverpool supporters had additional cause for celebration following their Premier League triumph this season, with Anfield securing fourth place - the highest position amongst all English stadiums. The research was commissioned by OLBG ahead of the new football seasons commencing across Europe, which also mapped the top 10 grounds into an interactive guide for supporters. Jake Ashton, football editor for the brand, said: "Football stadiums are becoming more impressive, and across the globe they offer very different experiences. It's great to see the two Spanish giants go head-to-head again, with Barcelona this time pipping Real Madrid to the top spot. "The variety and pull for fans to travel and see the beautiful game played out in different grounds looks as strong as ever, based on the number of pitches on people's bucket lists. "With Anfield making the top four, it also shows the UK isn't being left behind when it comes to iconic stadiums in world football." It's not just Liverpool's home ground that fans are eager to visit domestically - Wembley came in sixth, Manchester United's Old Trafford was ranked seventh, and their City rivals just six miles away at the Etihad finished ninth. Arsenal's Emirates Stadium, which opened its doors in 2006 and can accommodate approximately 60,000 supporters, completed the top 10. Away from Europe, the Maracanã in Rio de Janeiro - home to both CR Flamengo and Fluminense FC and considered a national landmark in Brazil - secured the 12th spot. Remaining in South America, La Bombonera - home of the iconic yellow and blue of Boca Juniors in Argentina, the last club Diego Maradona played for before retirement - came 20th in the table. When asked about the most crucial factors in creating the world's best football stadiums, excellent views of the pitch (52%) and comfortable seating (50%) topped the list. Another 46% said it was all about atmosphere and crowd noise. When fans were asked to rank grounds purely on their understanding of matchday atmosphere, Anfield came out on top, followed by the Camp Nou and the Santiago Bernabéu. Half of those surveyed credited the atmosphere in these venues to the fervour of the home supporters, whilst others pointed to the standard of football (47%) and near-sellout attendances (45%) as major factors. More than a third (38%) of fans questioned, through OnePoll, also confessed to supporting a club beyond the UK's borders, with 85% of those declaring it's an ambition to eventually witness a match at their preferred stadium. Pole vault king Duplantis to promote World Athletics Ultimate Championship
Aug 13 (Reuters) - Pole vault sensation Armand 'Mondo' Duplantis said he was excited to be part of the growth of athletics after the two-time Olympic champion was handed an ambassadorial role for next year's inaugural World Athletics Ultimate Championship. World Athletics announced last year it would hold the global championship as a grand conclusion to the 2026 season. It will then take place every two years. In a statement, World Athletics said Duplantis had been named 'Star Athlete' for the event. The governing body added that the pole vaulter would be among the "key collaborators pursuing their cultural passions outside of athletics in music, fashion, art, on-screen, who will promote the new global season-ending championship." The event will take place in Budapest with a record $10 million in prize money on offer. Gold medallists will each receive $150,000 as part of what the sport's world governing body has described as the richest prize pot ever in the sport. Duplantis won his second world title in 2023 in Budapest. He also broke his own pole vault world record there for a 13th time on Tuesday, soaring 6.29 metres at the Hungarian Grand Prix. The Swede said he was hoping to set a new world record during the Ultimate Championship. "We're always looking for new ways to make sure that the spotlight shines on athletics and the Ultimate will light up Budapest," the 25-year-old added. "I have great memories of winning world gold two years ago and remember the incredible atmosphere inside the stadium that night. It would be a dream to break the world record in front of a packed crowd next year. "This event is set to showcase our sport like never before and I can't wait to be a part of it." The championship is scheduled to take place over three evenings next year from September 11 to September 13. Each session will last less than three hours, in a bid to capture the attention of global television viewers. The programme will feature 26 individual events – 16 track and 10 field – and two relays, including the new mixed 4x100m.
