. It will make its public debut at the Goodwood Festival of Speed from July 10 to 13, while global bookings are expected to open later in 2025.

Visually, the SV Black Edition lives up to its name. It features Narvik Black paint paired with gloss black treatment across the exterior, including the grille, badges, quad exhausts, and even the 23-inch forged alloy wheels. Besides that, it also gets a carbon fibre bonnet and black-painted brake calipers.

Inside, the cabin mirrors the exterior's dark theme. It features sculpted performance seats finished in Ebony Windsor leather, gloss black finishers, and

Under the bonnet, the SUV remains mechanically identical to the standard SV variant. Power comes from a 4.4-litre twin-turbo mild-hybrid V8 engine that produces 635 hp and 750 Nm of torque. That's enough to propel the SUV from 0 to 100 kmph in just 3.6 seconds, with a top speed of 290 kmph. The vehicle also gets Range Rover's advanced 6D Dynamics suspension system and the innovative Body and Soul Seats.

The restriction is currently limited to Delhi, but from November 1, it will also extend to neighbouring districts. Ex-IAF pilot raises concerns However, the policy has not gone unchallenged. In a post that gained wide attention on social media, ex-IAF pilot Sanjeev Kapoor questioned the selective targeting of personal vehicles while other aging modes of transport remain in use. "We are still flying aircraft that are over 40 years old and many of our trains, buses, boats, ferries and commercial planes in daily use are more than three decades old," he wrote. 'So why are restrictions being imposed only on personal vehicles?' Kapoor also expressed concern over the unintended consequences of the move. He warned that banning fuel for older vehicles may give rise to a black market or underground ecosystem to keep these vehicles running. 'That's my take,' he concluded.
