Hajjah library opens with creatives confronting aggression symposium
A cultural symposium titled "Creatives Confronting Aggression" inaugurated on Wednesday the public library in Hajjah provivnce.
Province undersecretary Adel Rajeh emphasized the library's importance as a knowledge repository for societal advancement.
Judge Abdul Majeed Sharaf al-Din stressed the need for diverse activities to empower young creatives. The symposium featured poet Ali al-Nuaimi and novelist Murad Shali, exploring their creative journeys, the role of family, school, and reading, and the influence of other writers.
They also discussed the creative person's relationship with their homeland, their stance on national and humanitarian issues, and the role of creativity in confronting aggression.
Poet al-Nuaimi's poetry was noted for depicting the "ugliness and brutality" of the aggression, while novelist Shali was recognized for his narrative work on the Yemeni Armed Forces' operations in support of Palestine and Lebanon, and his novelistic interpretations of the Leader's Ramadan lectures in "Unique Readings of the Leader's Ramadan Lectures" and "From the Time of the Flood."
The final section involved questions from intellectuals and media professionals about the speakers' success stories.

Marib - Saba: The governorate of Marib witnessed on Friday 17 massive rallies and dozens of gatherings under the slogan: 'Steadfast with Gaza… Our readiness is high to confront all enemy conspiracies.' In Al-Jubah Square, residents of the southern sector held a large rally, raising banners and chanting slogans condemning the ongoing massacres and crimes committed by the Zionist enemy against the people of Gaza, as well as the collective starvation and siege policies backed by the U.S., Western powers, and enabled by Arab and Islamic inaction. In Sarwah District, residents rallied in the squares of Sarwah Market, Habab, and Al-Mahjaza, with the participation of Marib Governor Ali Tuaiman. Participants affirmed that the mobilization of the Zionist-American enemy's agents from inside and outside the region against the resistance in Palestine and Lebanon, and the activation of its tools in Yemen, is part of the American aggression targeting the free peoples of the region. In Majzar District, a mass rally was held in Al-Husoon Square, where participants denounced Zionist assaults on Al-Aqsa Mosque, describing them as part of the so-called 'Greater Israel' plan—met with suspicious silence from the peoples of the Muslim nation.
