Hajjah library opens with creatives confronting aggression symposium
Hajjah - Saba: A cultural symposium titled "Creatives Confronting Aggression" inaugurated on Wednesday the public library in Hajjah provivnce. Province undersecretary Adel Rajeh emphasized the library's importance as a knowledge repository for societal advancement. Judge Abdul Majeed Sharaf al-Din stressed the need for diverse activities to empower young creatives. The symposium featured poet Ali al-Nuaimi and novelist Murad Shali, exploring their creative journeys, the role of family, school, and reading, and the influence of other writers. They also discussed the creative person's relationship with their homeland, their stance on national and humanitarian issues, and the role of creativity in confronting aggression. Poet al-Nuaimi's poetry was noted for depicting the "ugliness and brutality" of the aggression, while novelist Shali was recognized for his narrative work on the Yemeni Armed Forces' operations in support of Palestine and Lebanon, and his novelistic interpretations of the Leader's Ramadan lectures in "Unique Readings of the Leader's Ramadan Lectures" and "From the Time of the Flood." Arwa girls' secondary school in Hajjah commemorates martyr leader
Hajjah - Saba: Arwa Girls' Secondary School in Hajjah province on Wednesday organized a cultural event today to mark the anniversary of martyr leader Sayyed Hussein Badr al-Din al-Houthi. The event, attended by Judge Abdul Majeed Sharaf al-Din, head of the Grievances Lifting Authority in the governorate, Essam al-Wazzan, director of the governorate center, and Mohsen Jahalan, deputy head of the educational sector, focused on the martyr leader's Quranic project and its transformative impact on the nation. Jahalan emphasized that the martyr leader was a man of his time, deeply connected to the Holy Quran, and dedicated to guiding the nation to speak truthfully in the face of arrogance and oppression. He noted that the martyr leader's commitment to the Palestinian cause was central to his mission from the beginning of his jihadist career. Speeches delivered by members of the Yemeni Scholars Association, Ismail Al-Sharafi and Yahya Al-Areeji, along with the schoolgirls' reflections, highlighted the martyr leader's jihadist journey and the Quranic project he pioneered to elevate the nation's standing and guide it toward dignity and independence.
