Shark hair tool that's makes hair 'so smooth' cut by 51% off

If you are after a new hair tool to cope with the summer heat, Amazon shoppers are recommending the Shark SmoothStyle, which they say is better than other brands, including Revlon and GHD. It is also now a fantastic 51% off at Amazon.
The Shark SmoothStyle heated brush and comb is now just £49.49 in a brilliant price drop down from £99.99. This is saving shoppers a massive 51%. The Shark SmoothStyle is an all-in-one smoothing hot brush and comb for wet and dry hair.
The hair tool creates voluminous styles with a smooth, soft finish and is said to be 'perfect for all hair types.'
You can dry, volumise, and style with no heat damage with the Shark SmoothStyle, which has two modes in which to style your hair.
In wet hair mode, SmoothStyle never reaches heat-damaging temperatures, meaning your hair will be protected. You can also twist to select between three air temperatures, giving you plenty of choice.
If you are looking for a different option, Boots is selling the BaByliss Air Style 1000 for £75, while another option is the Revamp Progloss Deepform hair straightening brush for £59.99 from Currys.
In dry hair mode with the Shark SmoothStyle you can smooth, align, and shape your hair for weightless bounce. Ideal for refreshing second-day hair, taming unruly bedhead, smoothing out ponytail creases, and more.
Thanks to its integrated ceramic-coated comb dry hair is smoothed with lower hair temperatures for a soft, bouncy, healthy-looking finish.
Many shoppers have raved about the Shark SmoothStyle.
One said: "Bought another Revlon too in the hope that the difference would be negligible but I must admit the Shark is worth it. Yes it's a little bit heavier, but I dried my hair on a much much cooler setting than with the Revlon and my hair is so smooth I can't stop touching it, and with a lovely wave using the plates, rather than sizzling it with the GHDs which I normally have to do after drying."
Another added: "Honestly the best hair tool I have used. I've had other very highly rated brands that did a good job but this shark smooth style is another level."
A third said: "I can't believe how great this product is! Being a long-time user of similar hair tools, I must say this one exceeds all my expectations. It's incredibly easy to use and takes all the fuss out of tidying and smoothing hair."
One person said the brush was too heavy, they said: "Had to return this , it was very well made but just too heavy."
Another option for a hot air styler is John Lewis for the BaByliss Air Power Volume hot air styler for £54.40.

TSX posts biggest decline since April as US jobs data spooks investors

TORONTO, Aug 1 (Reuters) - Canada's main stock index fell for a third straight day on Friday as investors weighed disappointing U.S. jobs data and an escalation in the U.S. trade war with Canada. The S&P/TSX composite index (.GSPTSE), opens new tab ended down 239.35 points, or 0.9%, at 27,020.43, extending its pullback from a record closing high on Tuesday. It was the index's sharpest decline since April 10. For the week, the TSX was down 1.7%. "August tends to be one of the worst months for the year and it's setting off to do that once again, as we're seeing some volatility and a quick drop-off with weaker payroll numbers in the U.S. and just some concerns around earnings so far," said Greg Taylor, chief investment officer at PenderFund Capital Management. "A lot of the better companies usually report first in the cycle, and we got that, now we're starting to see some weakness." Wall Street posted steep declines as (AMZN.O), opens new tab failed to meet lofty expectations for its Amazon Web Services cloud computing unit and after U.S. jobs data disappointed. U.S. employment growth was weaker than expected in July while the nonfarm payrolls count for the prior two months was revised down by a massive 258,000 jobs, suggesting a sharp deterioration in labor market conditions. Domestic data was also downbeat. Canada's manufacturing sector contracted for a sixth straight month in July as tariffs undercut trade with the United States and spurred firms to reduce inventory as well as staffing levels. U.S. President Donald Trump on Thursday signed an executive order increasing tariffs on Canadian goods to 35% from 25% on all products not covered by the U.S.-Mexico-Canada trade agreement. All ten major sectors on the TSX ended lower, led by a 2.4% decline for technology (.SPTTTK), opens new tab. Energy (.SPTTEN), opens new tab lost 1.9% as worries about a possible increase in OPEC oil production weighed on the price of oil. U.S. crude futures settled 2.8% lower at $67.33 a barrel. Heavily weighted financials (.SPTTFS), opens new tab lost 0.9%. MDA Space Ltd ( opens new tab was a bright spot. Its shares jumped 18.4% after the aerospace company was selected as the prime contractor on a project for Echostar.
