'Can't Believe You're Growing Up So Fast': Mohammed Shami's Heartfelt Birthday Wish To Daughter
Team India pacer Mohammed Shami penned a touching note to his daughter, Aaira, on the occasion of her birthday wish his ward all success.
The 34-year-old seamer took to the social media platform Instagram to post a series of images with a caption that read, 'Darling, daughter,I still remember all the nights we spent staying up, talking,laughing and specifically your dance."
'Can't believe you are growing up so fast," he said in an emotional note.
'I wish only the best for you in life. May God bless you abundantly with love, peace, joy, and good health, today and always."
'Happy birthday," the post concluded.
The star seamer has had to endure a tumultuous time with his life off the field as his estranged wife, Hasin Jahan, move lodged an FIR against Shami and his family in March 2018, four years after their marriage in, alleging physical and mental torture.
In addition to domestic violence, Jahan accused Shami of dowry harassment, while also alleging that the strike bowler had withheld her from chasing monetary pursuits.
Shami has also had to dela with injury setbacks as he missed the fitness-race to be available for the ongoing five-match Test series against England. The pacer's most recent appearance for the nation in whites came at the World Test Championships final a couple of years ago. Shami, however, did feature in the ICC Champions Trophy and part of the money-rich franchise T20 league, IPL in limited over cricket.
