BROOKYLN Beckham's vow renewal with wife Nicola Peltz has been branded "a gratuitous display of obscene wealth" by his family.
None of the Beckhams were invited to the lavish ceremony on August 2 — presided over by Nicola's billionaire dad Nelson — and only read about it on an American website.

The Beckham family have said to be questioning the need to renew his vows

Now a source close to the Beckham family have said to be questioning the need to renew his vows after just three years.
One friend said: 'They would understand if it was, say, 10 years down the line - maybe even five. But three?! It seems like quite a gratuitous display of obscene wealth.
"Also, if Brooklyn wanted to create a really cute memory, why couldn't he have just let his family know their plans first?
'To be honest, although there have been moments of rapprochement, this hostility dates back to 2021, around six months before the original wedding.
"The dynamics have just never really gelled.
'Of course David and Victoria want Brooklyn to be happy and clearly he is wildly in love still, but a lot of people have been hurt.
"It is a very sad situation and everyone fears there is no way back now. It is done.'
It was also revealed that even Brooklyn's grandparents were excluded from the special day - despite their close relationship.
Yesterday a source said: 'This was the final kick in the teeth for David and Victoria.
David and Victoria Beckham's agony as family feud explodes into WW3 and pals say 'Brooklyn has totally cut them off'
'Seeing Nelson having such a pivotal role at the ceremony was heartbreaking for David especially.
"Not one member of the 30-plus extended family knew about the wedding, or were invited.
'His grandparents are devastated too as Brooklyn has always been so close to them.
'It feels cruel and spiteful. This is no longer a game. It has gone beyond all that.
'This is a family who feel they have lost their precious boy - and see no way back. Honestly, they are now questioning why he even wants to keep the 'Beckham' surname - will he revert to Peltz? August 2nd 2025 - is this the day Brooklyn formally declared himself no longer a part of the Beckham family?
'It certainly feels like it.'
In the photos shared by the couple on Instagram, they are surrounded by Nicola's family and friends.
The actress looked stunning in a repurposed dress which her mum Claudia wore when she married tycoon Nelson in 1985.
She also sported the same original £1.3million ring.
Brooklyn's original wedding with Nicola took place on Nelson's estate in Palm Beach, Florida, with Brooklyn's sister Harper among the bridesmaids.
This time the couple chose Nelson's Westchester estate in New York as the backdrop.
Alongside the images, the couple wrote: 'only love.'
They also posted a video of their very casual proposal on TikTok alongside a song by Ysabelle Cuevas with the words: 'Lost in your eyes.'
Brooklyn, who wore a suit with no tie, called the ceremony a 'really beautiful experience' which was all about creating a 'really cute memory' they would treasure forever.
There had been a lot of tension before the original wedding.
The Beckhams claim Nicola was a 'bridezilla' and hard work, while the Peltzes say their in-laws are 'tight'.
Nicola also revealed Victoria reneged on a pledge to design her dress, infuriating the former Spice Girl.
There were also claims Victoria hijacked the first dance.
Earlier this year Brooklyn and Nicola were absent from the ex-Man United star's 50th birthday celebrations.
He also recently U-turned on the inspiration behind his Cloud-23 hot sauce company - insisting it was named after the day he proposed to his US actress wife.
Last year he said it was a nod to the shirt number worn by his dad, who invested heavily in the company.

Scottish singer Lewis Capaldi has revealed he was 'aired' by Justin Bieber after a celebrity party, in his first British radio interview in two years. The star also spoke to Capital Breakfast's presenter Chris Stark about working with Calvin Harris, his return to music, and how the last two years have felt like his 'uni experience'. Advertisement Hide Ad Advertisement Hide Ad He described spending a 'super night' with Bieber at a party in Los Angeles, only to be ghosted by the American artist the next day. 'Justin Bieber comes over and said 'hey man, what's going on?' And I said, 'you don't remember my name.' And he said, 'of course I do, you're Lewis Capaldi,' he recalled. 'Me and Bieber had this super night together, like really lovely evening together. We didn't spend the night together, but we hung out and I'm like 'me and the Biebs are gonna be best pals, this is huge.' 'And he's like 'man make sure I get your number tomorrow.' And I was like 'me and the Biebs, this is huge.' Advertisement Hide Ad Advertisement Hide Ad 'I text him maybe the most sucking up his a*** text. I said, 'Just wanted to jump on bro, last night was so special, great guy, so nice to hang out with you, such a dude.' Blah blah all this stuff. 'He likes it and doesn't reply. So if you're out there Bieber, wherever you are, text me back please. 'Bieber aired me.' Lewis Capaldi took a break from music after struggling with Tourette's Syndrome and anxiety | PA The West Lothian star took a step back from performing in 2023, after he was unable to finish his performance on the Glastonbury festival's Pyramid stage when he struggled to manage the symptoms of his Tourette syndrome. After a return to the public eye at this year's festival, he announced a UK tour with two Scottish arena shows later this year. Advertisement Hide Ad Advertisement Hide Ad He told Stark: 'I feel great. I feel this buzz and enthusing for everything I'm doing. I'm happy to back doing it.' 'I've done a lot of growing up in the last year and a bit. Weirdly I felt like the last two years I had off, I was getting better, but I was having my sort of uni experience. 'Because I went and toured when everyone was at uni, there were times when I kicked the a*** out of it, going out and having nights out here and London.' Capaldi also said he'd 'love' to do a song with Scottish superstar DJ Calvin Harris. Advertisement Hide Ad Advertisement Hide Ad He said he recorded a song for Harris but it was 'not for public consumption', and that he was too much of a people pleaser to tell Mr Harris he didn't like his version of the song. He then confessed that didn't reply to the DJ when he asked what he thought of it. He said he'd 'love' to do a song with him in future, but would want Harris to sing on it. Capaldi also spoke about his comeback to music in a separate interview with the Heart Scotland Breakfast show with Des Clarke. Advertisement Hide Ad Advertisement Hide Ad Asked about his decision to make his return at Glastonbury, the singer joked: 'I didn't know if I would come back to begin with. 'But a year in I realised that I'm living a lifestyle that I can't afford.' He also revealed he didn't want his parents or managers 'anywhere near' his dressing room before the show. 'Not because they're going to put bad juju on me, it was more I can really feel people's nervous energy. Do you know what I mean?' he said. Tourists are flocking to Toronto Zoo to see common Scottish animal we have for free

A new addition to Toronto Zoo has left fans in awe as the common Scottish animal is put on display, with the pair passing a quarantine and being introduced to the zoo soon A common Scottish animal has been put on display at a Toronto Zoo and people are flocking to see it. While we may be used to seeing the animal in fields across the country, those across the pond do not peek them as regularly. The addition to Toronto Zoo has sent attendees into a meltdown as they can't get over the newest showcase. ‌ The charm of Highland Cows has taken Canadian tourists by storm, with the Toronto Zoo confirming they would be displaying the creatures from now on. The cattle brothers on display are expected to grow twice their size – and zoo officials are just as excited as members of the public. ‌ Marc Brandson, the manager of wildlife care at Toronto Zoo, says the pair weigh around 300 to 400 pounds and have completed their quarantine time. ‌ The duo are now living just outside the Eurasia Wilds section of the zoo and members of the public can't wait to see them for the first time. There are hopes the pair will be brought up to task for being animal ambassadors, exhibitions in the zoo which have people inspecting the animals closer. Marc said: "Each and every day, our outreach and discovery staff are working to get them to that level." While the pair do not have any names yet, people on the Toronto Zoo Instagram are going wild over the new Highland cows. The pair are expected to get more active in the zoo once the weather gets cooler. A post to the zoo's Instagram story has sent people into a frenzy as they all lose it after seeing how fluffy the animals are. An upload to YouTube confirming the animals were at the zoo has also left people thrilled. One user wrote: "Funny creatures." Another added: "Great work!" ‌ It comes as the zoo celebrates 51 years of connecting people with wildlife. A post to their Instagram earlier today (August 15), congratulated the "groundbreaking conservation efforts" at the zoo, including the recent introduction of two Highland cows. The post reads: "As we celebrate 51 years of connecting you with wildlife and wild spaces, know that your Zoo has been at the forefront of wildlife conservation, education, and creating unforgettable experiences for every member and guest that has journeyed through our doors. ‌ "From the arrival of favourites like Puppe, Charles and Jonah to groundbreaking conservation efforts which include the construction of our soon to be finished Community Conservation Centre, we've accomplished so much together and there's still more to come! "In time for our 52nd birthday next August, we hope to showcase your new front entrance and the opening of our Community Conservation Centre. "We cannot continue to be the community funded, conservation science organization operating a world class Zoo without your support and passion for wildlife. "Thank you for being part of our journey and here's to another 51 years and more of learning, adventure and fighting extinction."

Edinburgh man on staying 'down to earth' despite going viral with job he loves

More info An Edinburgh tattoo artist who found fame online after showcasing his colour realism portraits says he "can't believe" he has a career where people pay him to "draw pictures". David Corden, 53, showed a talent for lifelike drawing from a young age but only found his way into the tattoo industry after 15 years working as an engineer in London when he began working in a studio on a whim before the 2008 financial crisis. Despite only receiving a U grade in his A-Level art exam after being told his work was too realistic, David has turned his passion into a full-time career. And in 2015, he relocated to Edinburgh and opened his very own studio, Semper, in the Grassmarket. Now, David is an award-winning tattoo artist specialising in bringing faces to life. From celebrities and film characters to family members and pets, some of his most popular celebrity tattoos include Elvis, Marilyn Monroe and Prince, and iconic characters such as Princess Leia, Edward Scissorhands and Freddy Krueger. In total, he estimates that he has completed 'well over 5,000' tattoos, and has made a name for himself in the industry. While he does not view himself as ' famous ', his Instagram page where he shares his work has more than 180,000 followers, and he receives hundreds of likes and comments on his posts. He said: 'As an artist, my gallery walks around, gets up and leaves – my work is somewhere in the world, living a life and interacting with other people. 'Tattooing really is that cliche of if you find a job you love, you'll never work another day in your life. 'I meet other tattoo artists and we all say at some point, 'Can you believe we do this as a job? People are paying me to draw pictures'.' David has always had a passion for art and his talents were clear from a young age – although this was not always reflected in good grades. He recalled: 'I had done art in school, I did it at A-Level but I got a U, which means ungraded.' 'When we queried it, they said it was because my work was so realistic, I may as well have handed in a photo – so that was a bad thing apparently.' Despite this he went on to art college to study graphic design and started working as an engineer for a ventilation company after finishing the course. He added: 'I had every intention of just working there for a year and then going back to do something in the art world, but 15 years later I was still there.' In the lead-up to the 2008 financial crisis, David said work for the company became 'quieter and quieter', prompting him to find something else. A few years earlier, in 2002, David created and designed his first tattoo - a dragon he wanted on his arm - which he took to a studio in Kent. Sign up for Edinburgh Live newsletters for more headlines straight to your inbox He said: 'The lead tattoo artist there told me it was the first time in years where he had ever been able to make a stencil from someone's drawing. 'We just hit it off and he remembered me as the guy whose picture he didn't have to redraw.' In 2006, David connected with the artist again, and he was asked if he would be interested in joining the team. He said: 'I just thought I can do 'mum' or 'dad', or 'love' and 'hate' on someone's knuckles – it's a bit arty, so why not.' He started by working on the reception desk and shadowing tattoo artists while they worked. He later realised he had joined at the right time, after the industry "exploded" following the release of American reality series Miami Ink, and people started to see it as a career option. David produced his first tattoo for his cousin, who requested a portrait of actor Jack Nicholson from The Shining, asking for the famous 'Here's Johnny' look. 'I wasn't confident, but I wasn't as nervous as I expected to be,' David said - adding that the tattoo was a success. Years later, in August 2015, David was on a trip to Edinburgh when he instantly felt an emotional connection to the city – and he decided to relocate and open his own studio. Speaking about his realism work, he said: 'Any interesting faces are always interesting to me – monsters in horror movies for example are great because they look so cool nowadays, they're so detailed and mad.' He added: 'I copy what I see, so if there's something in the picture, I'm going to put it on the skin. 'The thing that's come from years of experience is sometimes understanding the need to boost a particular colour or to boost all the contrast to bring it to life.' He shares his work with 181,000 followers on Instagram. One post showing a tattoo of the late actor John Candy as Uncle Buck in the hit 1989 comedy film garnered more than 14,000 likes. David has made a name for himself within the tattoo industry, but he said he does not think of himself as 'famous'. He said: 'Fame to me is movie stars and musicians, but within the tattoo world, I guess that's the artists like me. 'My world has not changed, it's all very down to earth and normal. The fame bit happens online and the internet decides if it's successful.' David is attending the Big London Tattoo Show from September 19 to 21, which is set to feature 500 tattoo artists from around the world.
