Plus One: 2.24 lakh take admission after second allotment

As many as 2.24 lakh students have taken admission after the publication of the second allotment for Plus One higher secondary single-window admission.
Of them, 1,41,229 students took permanent merit admission, while 83,751 took temporary admission.
While 1,07,092 took admission to their first option allotments, 17,294 did not take admission despite getting allotment. Applications of 258 candidates were denied owing to various reasons.
In the sports quota, 2,639 took permanent admission and 1,992 temporary admission. As many as 1,469 did not join despite getting allotment and 10 applications were denied.
In the model residential school category, 1,039 candidates took permanent admission and 84 temporary. Seventy did not take admission though they had received allotment.
A total of 3,18,574 seats were available for single-window admission. With 2,24,980 students taking admission, the number of seats left is 93,594.
Students who failed to take admission despite getting allotment will not be considered for further allotment.
Students who have been unable to apply till now can apply for supplementary allotment after the third allotment in the main phase in a couple of days.
Plus One classes will begin on June 18.

Third allotment for Plus One vocational higher secondary single-window admission will be published on https://admission.vhseportal.kerala.gov.in to allow students to take admission from June 16 till 4 p.m. on June 17. As no temporary admissions will be allowed, students should pay the fee and take permanent admission.

Admission to vacant seats remaining after various allotments for Plus One higher secondary admission will be held from 10 a.m. to 12 noon on Thursday on the basis of rank-list published on the admission website at 9 a.m. Students who had applied for admission in the merit quota but had not got allotment had been given time till 4 p.m. on Wednesday to apply for admission to seats that still remained vacant. On Thursday, students must track through the rank-list school/course that offered the most possibility of admission and with the 'Candidate's Rank' report and other documents report for admission. Admission to vacant seats in model residential schools will be also held from 10 a.m. to 12 noon.

Students who are yet to get Plus One admission despite applying for various merit quota allotments can apply to the current vacant seats. Those who have taken admission in some quota are not eligible to apply. The vacancies will be published on the admission website at 9 a.m. on Tuesday. Vacancies in model residential higher secondary schools will also be published on the website for spot admission.
