Who: Local actress-host Farhana M. Noor, 34, has starred in television series such as Channel 5's long-form drama Tanglin (2015 to 2018) and Suria's romantic comedy Kahwin Satu Keluarga (2023 to 2025).
She made he r d ebut in 2013 with the musical drama Rima Hatiku and has since become a familiar face on Suria.
On May 25, she will co-host local TV awards show Pesta Perdana 2025 with fellow artistes Najip Ali, Fauzie Laily and Era Farida.
Returning for its 18th edition, the event celebrates timeless moments in local Malay entertainment and Suria's 25-year legacy. The live ceremony will be available from 8.30 to 11pm on mewatch, Mediacorp Entertainment on YouTube and Suria.
'As a mother of a four-year-old boy and one-year-old girl, I used to think of my work as my downtime, but I realised after a while that I needed to find something else to make me feel like myself again.
For me, that was Zumba and exercising. I go for my Zumba classes solo and make friends with others there. It's a safe space for me. People will be dancing and following the instructor, and I'll just be grooving by myself, releasing the stress from whatever hectic week I had.
My friends always laugh at me because they say that Zumba classes are for 'makciks' (aunties), but it's really not.

Changi Airport is a special place for me, and I like spending time there with my family over the weekends. There's a playground at Terminal 1 for the children, lots of food options, the waterfall at Jewel, and we can go shopping.
I spent a lot of my childhood at Changi Airport. My parents would take me and my brother there every weekend to spend time with their best friends, so I basically grew up there.
We would pretend to be the Power Rangers and chase one another around. So I want my kids to experience what I did at the airport.
My most memorable weekend was probably the one when my son was turning three and we took him to S.E.A. Aquarium in 2024. He had first visited as a baby, so he didn't understand anything then. He still didn't understand anything the second time round, and was just running about.

But by the third time, he was just beginning to talk, so we had tiny pockets of conversations with each other.
He was curious about everything, especially the big floor-to-ceiling tank. So we were just eating snacks and staring at the tank, with him asking so many questions. It was very nice and enjoyable.'

Changi Airport launches Jellycat-inspired plushies of local food like chicken rice and kopi

All these years there's been a never-ending battle over whether Singapore or Malaysia has better food. People also can't seem to come to an agreement on which country certain dishes belong to. Apparently this competition could extend to toys too. As part of SG60 celebrations, Changi Airport recently launched a new series of plushies shaped like Singaporean local delights. At the Mr Merlion Hawker Fest pop-up at Terminal 3, which is now open, you can find soft toys shaped like rainbow kueh lapis, curry puff, bak kwa, ice kachang, chicken rice, chilli crab, kopi, Magnolia milk and even popular childhood favourite, rainbow bread ice cream. The stuffies are all inspired by British toy brand Jellycat, and similarly have small dangling legs as well as two eyes paired with a cute smile. Yup, pretty much like the highly raved kaya toast and egg plushies Milo released in April this year. Just like how they do it in the official Jellycat stores around the world, the staff will also prepare the plushies like they are actual dishes before 'serving' them to you. We can already hear people squealing over how cute these toys are. Some netizens even gushed that they're willing to work for the store just because the job seems "so fun". However, there were skeptics too. "Isn't this Malaysian food?" questioned one netizen. Sorry but we think we can safely answer... No! These are Singaporean food, please. At least the chicken rice and Magnolia milk definitely are.

Raymond Lam takes selfie with fan while touring Singapore with family, Entertainment News

Raymond Lam was recently spotted in Singapore with his family for a vacation. In an Instagram post yesterday (July 24), the 45-year-old Hong Kong actor-singer is seen at one of the arrival halls in Changi Airport with his model wife Carina Zhang and their four-year-old daughter. He gives a thumbs-up to someone before getting into a black chartered van outside arrival terminal. Raymond was also at Haji Lane last evening, where he took a selfie with a fan. The woman posted the photo to Xiaohongshu today and wrote in the caption: "I met Raymond Lam in Singapore! I am really lucky to be able to meet him by chance at Haji Lane. He's very nice and even volunteered to take my camera for a selfie, I am so happy." A netizen who commented in the post also shared that she met Raymond and his family in a mall here and took photos with him too. Raymond was in Singapore last November as one of the judges for the Star Search 2024 finale. While he was here, he visited local actor-host Ben Yeo's Charcoal Fish Head Steamboat Restaurant and had a meal with him and actors Christopher Lee, Juin Teh and Jernelle Oh. 'Don't ask me how': Woman 'somersaults' down Changi Airport tube slide

A woman got flipped upside down while riding the tube slide at Changi Airport's Terminal 4. Stomper Anon alerted Stomp to a video of the incident posted on TikTok by user @sshhuuyyii on July 9. The post's caption said: "Don't ask me how, but I somersaulted down the slide. Buy your insurance." In the video, the woman enters the slide leg-first, but upon hitting the sides of the tube slide, she somehow flips upside down. She can be seen crashing into the sides of the slide on her way down, before exiting head-first. The woman is teary-eyed and visibly in pain after the accident. Her friends are seen tending to her afterwards and rubbing her forehead. Some netizens questioned why the woman entered the slide head-first, without realising the slide had caused her to "somersault" upside-down. Others claimed that the slide is catered for children. "Adult weight makes you slide faster than kids. I've seen kids playing there many times with no issue," one user commented. In May 2024, Chinese social media influencer Koey Har sustained injuries after riding the same slide.
