6 times Caitlin Clark and Tyrese Haliburton were friendship goals
Fever star Caitlin Clark and her budding friendship with the Pacers' Tyrese Haliburton should be recognized for how awesome it is.
They are leading the charge for the city of Indianapolis, elevating their respective franchises in the sports stratosphere. So, it's not shocking that they would not only cross paths but also become friends. Haliburton has supported Clark for months.

"He's, first of all, one of my good friends, but also like it's nice being able to just talk basketball and understand each other, but also we keep it fun," the Fever guard said in May of Haliburton. "It's not anything deep, but it's fun to talk about, too."
What's more, Clark has cheered on Haliburton many times over as well. She recently taunted Jalen Brunson during the Eastern Conference Finals with his own celebration after Haliburton sank a 3-ball. (What else are friends for if they won't troll your rivals for you?) That kind of support doesn't go unnoticed.
'Caitlin is amazing,' Haliburton recently reflected. 'For me, getting to actually spend time around her, be around her, get to know her personally, she's just an amazing person and amazing player."
In other words, Clark and Haliburton are slowly becoming friendship goals. So, here's six times of the pair raising the friendship bar:
1. Haliburton and the Pacers celebrating Clark's WNBA Rookie of the Year award
2. Clark loving a Haliburton 3-pointer during a Pacers game
3. Clark and Haliburton attending a Wisconsin-Butler game in November
4. Clark hugging Haliburton's dad and girlfriend after an April Pacers matchup
5. Haliburton and his girlfriend supporting Clark after the Fever's season opener
6. Clark reacting to a Haliburton three during the NBA Eastern Conference Finals

Head coach Stephanie White to miss Fever's game at Chicago, Austin Kelly to step in
CHICAGO -- Head coach Steph White won't be at the Fever's game against the Chicago Sky on Saturday night, a team spokesperson confirmed to IndyStar on Saturday morning. White was not with the team on Friday during practice because of personal reasons, and her status was previously to be determined for Saturday's game. First assistant Austin Kelly will be the acting head coach, and assistants Karima Christmas-Kelly and Briann January will also step into bigger roles. It's currently unknown how long White will be away from the team. White has a lot of trust in her staff, most of whom she's worked with for years. "My staff is so good and trusting in them that if I needed to be away for a period of time, it's status quo," White told IndyStar ahead of the season. "Our team knows that, they have great respect for them, and I know that, and I trust them implicitly, so it gives even more peace of mind." Kelly, who talked with the media on Friday, has worked with White for three years now. He joined her staff in Connecticut in 2023 and followed her to Indianapolis after she took the job with the Fever. More: Caitlin Clark is a spectator for the first time. How she's handling injury, working her way back January also has also worked with White for three years, beginning in 2023 in Connecticut. Christmas-Kelly joined White's staff in 2025 after two years on the Fever's assistant coaching staff under Christie Sides.

And according to NBA insider Shams Charania, the Knicks and Durant have "mutual interest" with one another. "On Kevin Durant I will say this: There was mutual interest between Kevin Durant and the Knicks at the trade deadline. The Knicks made an offer for KD", Charania mentioned.
