Some Manannan sailings changed due to low water
Some Manannan sailings from 27 to 29 April have been changed so that arrivals and departures do not coincide with low tide.
The firm said low water, compounded by the effect of silting under the linkspan pontoon, caused alignment issues with Manannan's stern ramp. This would, in turn, prevent safe loading and unloading.
Affected passengers will be contacted about any changes, the IOMSPC said. Those who can no longer travel due to the rescheduled sailings will be offered refunds or alternative journeys.
The changes mean that Sunday's 15:00 BST Manannan crossing has been pushed back to 16:30, with her 19:15 return now set for 20:30.
Monday's afternoon crossing will depart at 17:00, returning at 21:15 and the Tuesday morning sailing will leave the island at 13:30 with her return rescheduled to 18:00.
The IOMSPC said it was working with the Department of Infrastructure and Peel Ports, which owns and operates the port, to "ensure a robust programme of dredging is conducted".

Manannan returns to Douglas due to generator fault
The Isle of Man's fast craft has had to return to the island with the morning's subsequent sailing cancelled due to a technical fault, the ferry operator has confirmed. The 07:15 Manannan sailing set off for Liverpool but a control fault to one of the generators meant that it was deemed "not safe" to enter the port, the Steam Packet said. As there was also a risk the vessel would not be allowed to depart Liverpool if it was not rectified, it returned to Douglas, the firm confirmed. As a result the 07:15 and 11:15 sailings between the island and Liverpool have been cancelled, while the 15:00 crossings has been delayed by at least three hours. The firm said that passengers were being transferred to Manxman sailings while repairs were being carried out. Coach shuttles have been laid on between Heysham and Liverpool for foot passengers. Managing Director Brian Thomson apologised for the cancellations and the disruption caused. "We're working hard to get things back on track as soon as we can," he added. The firm said, as engineers were continuing to work on a fix for the technical issue, the 15:00 Manannan crossing was expected to depart at 18:00, with the evening return also pushed back. Bus services to Manx beauty spot restored
Bus services to a beauty spot on the Isle of Man are set to be restored as part of a new route linking the west and south of the island. Bus Vannin is launching the 8S route, which is expected to run every day, year-round, from Peel to The Sound via Cregneash from 21 July, subject to approval by the Road Transport Licensing Committee. The government said the decision to introduce the service was taken to "meet passenger requirements" and would "fill a gap in bus services" identified in consultation responses to a recent bus service review. It follows the government's decision to scrap a seasonal service to Cregneash last year after being deemed not financially viable. A subsequent backlash, including the decision being dubbed "short-sighted" by Arbory and Rushen commissioners, led to Infrastructure Minister Michelle Haywood committing to review the decision. It is set to serve Peel, Foxdale, the airport, Castletown, Port Erin, Port St Mary and The Sound. The government said the route would be reviewed once in place and might change based on the passenger numbers. Haywood said she was "delighted" that Bus Vannin was able to introduce the route, adding the service was "good news for residents and visitors to our island". TT qualifying sessions get underway
Both the daytime and evening qualifying sessions are set to be used on Friday [BBC] Afternoon and evening qualifying sessions for competitors in the Isle of Man TT are set to go ahead. The use of the evening contingency comes after disruption on previous days, including the cancellation of Thursday laps due to low cloud. Advertisement All roads around the course were closed by 12:30 BST for the daytime session, but the lower section is set to reopen between 16:30 until 18:00 ahead of the evening session from 18:30. Roads are set to be reopened by 21:30. However parking for motorcycles and blue badge holders at Noble's Park had been reopened, they added. People intending to travel to the grandstand for the qualifying session were previously urged to use public transport when possible.
