JFK Jr. feared his own family would tell the world he was gay: New Kennedy clan cruelty exposed

John F. Kennedy Jr. feared his own family would tell the world he was secretly gay if he refused to publicly support a cousin charged with rape.
The 'outing' threat – which was entirely baseless and has been described by sources as 'blackmail' – was allegedly issued by Senator Ted Kennedy to pressure his nephew into publicly supporting the family's claims that William Kennedy Smith, then 31 and the son of Teddy and JFK's sister Jean Kennedy Smith, was innocent of the charge.

Texas Rangers spark backlash for honoring controversial former star after he was accused of beating his daughter

Texas Rangers fans have lashed out after the franchise honored controversial former star Josh Hamilton on Saturday. Prior to their game against the Philadelphia Phillies, five-time All-Star Hamilton was brought on field and was presented with his Rangers Hall of Fame jacket. However, fans questioned the decision to honor Hamilton given his tarnished off-field reputation - after he was accused of assaulting his daughter in 2019. Six years ago, the former American League MVP surrendered to police in Texas after being accused of injuring one of his three daughters by throwing a chair into her legs and hitting her with a closed fist. The following April, he was indicted by a grand jury over the incident. In 2022, he plead guilty to unlawful restraint as part of a plea deal that dismissed the indictment. Hamilton was then sentenced to one-year of deferred probation, fined $500, ordered to pay court costs and attend parenting and anger management classes. Former Texas Ranger Hamilton previously plead guilty to unlawful restraint in a plea deal that dismissed a 2020 felony indictment for injury to a child However, despite his tarnished reputation, the Rangers decided to honor him at their game on Saturday and allowed him to throw the ceremonial first pitch of the afternoon. The franchise later took to X to celebrate the moment, writing: 'All love for the legend'. It drew backlash from fans, with one writing: 'Does that include when he assaulted his daughter?' Hamilton was initially inducted into the Rangers Hall of Fame in August 2019, prior to the alleged assault. However, the team didn't begin the tradition of handing out Hall of Fame blazers until 2021, hence why he hadn't received one prior to Saturday. According to a police affidavit back in 2019, Hamilton's daughter told Keller police that he went on a rampage on September 30. She says she made a comment to Hamilton that upset him, so he threw a full water bottle overhand at her, hitting her in the chest, then began cursing and shouting at her. She says she apologized, but Hamilton still threw her over his shoulder, carried her to her room, dumped her on her bed, pressed her head against the mattress and hit her legs, leaving scratches from his fingernails. At one point, she claimed, he lifted her by her sweatshirt, causing it to rip. According to the arrest affidavit, she said Hamilton hit her with both an open hand and closed fist. Finally, according to the affidavit, Hamilton allegedly told her: 'I hope you go in front of the f***ing judge and tell him what a terrible dad I am so I don't have to see you anymore and you don't ever have to come to my house again.' Hamilton has two other daughters with his former wife, Katie Chadwick Hamilton. Hamilton's baseball career included five All-Star selections, but it was also known for his problems with addiction. After being drafted with the first-overall pick of the 1999 MLB Draft, Hamilton struggled in the minors, was sent to the Betty Ford Center for drug rehabilitation, and ultimately failed several drug tests before being suspended by the team. But after three years away from the game, Hamilton finally made his Major League debut with the Cincinnati Reds in 2007, finishing the year with an impressive 19 home runs and a .292 batting average. Things really took off for Hamilton the following season after he signed in Texas, where he was later named the American League's MVP in 2010. He also played two seasons with the Anaheim Angels before returning to Texas for his final season in 2015. He also suffered drug and alcohol relapses that season, according to multiple reports. 'I hope that people saw me as just… a real person, a human being, with his struggles and his challenges like everyone else,' Hamilton wrote in an open letter, before being inducted into the Texas Rangers Hall of Fame. 'I wasn't trying to pretend that I was Superman, or like I was above anybody and could do no wrong. I was just trying to do the best I could and to be honest about what I was going through.'

NYPD launch manhunt for WNBA sex toy prank suspect after he hit 12-year-old girl as scandal plagues the league

The NYPD have launched a search for a man believed to be behind one of the lurid sex toy-throwing incidents that continues to plague the WNBA. Beginning last week, a series of shocking moments at women's basketball games across the league saw green sex toys being thrown onto the court. Now, officials have confirmed that they are seeking out a man - who was pictured wearing a 'Beavis and Butthead' t-shirt - who is believed to have taken part in the disturbing trend. According to Crime Stoppers, the man was seen throwing a green sex toy from the stands, during a New York Liberty game on Tuesday, which struck a 12-year-old girl. According to the New York Post, one fan said: 'The object was thrown from someone much higher up but definitely in the same section. 'When it landed, the girl started screaming/freaking out (understandably) for like 30 [seconds] and got the attention of most people within the surrounding rows'. Security footage from the Barclays Center showed the man - who has tattoos up and down his arms - wearing a red and black hat as he walked through the arena. Unlike in other incidents that have plagued the league, the sex toy did not make it onto the court and officials were reportedly able to dispose of the item swiftly. The incident was one of two sex toy-throwing acts that occurred on Tuesday night, with the Indiana Fever's game against the Los Angeles Sparks also interrupted. Fever star Sophie Cunningham - who had previously spoken out against the trend - was struck by the item after it was hurled on court from the stands. Meanwhile, two individuals - including an 18-year-old - have been arrested over the indecent acts in the last week. Kaden Lopez, 18, was booked into jail on suspicion of disorderly conduct, assault and public display of explicit sexual material following the game between the Mercury and Sun, Fox 10 Phoenix has reported. While the toy did not reach the court, it allegedly hit an adult male victim who was attending the game with his nine-year-old niece, according to a court document. The moment of Lopez throwing the object, described as a 'green dildo', was captured on video, and the teen was tackled by an arena volunteer before being detained by police. Lopez allegedly apologized for the act, saying it was 'stupid prank that was trending on social media.' It is also alleged in court documents that he bought the toy on Monday - just one day before the game. Days prior to that, Delbert Carver, 23, was arrested for allegedly throwing sex toys onto the floor of two WNBA games last week He was released from Clayton County Jail in Jonesboro on Sunday, one day after being charged with disorderly conduct, public indecency/indecent exposure, and criminal trespass, according to online records. Police say he was arrested after throwing a sex toy onto the court during the Atlanta Dream's win over the visiting Phoenix Mercury on Friday. He also allegedly confessed to police that he was involved in a similar incident in Atlanta's July 29 loss to the visiting Golden State Valkyries. Carver's next court date has not been announced and he has no listed attorney on the Clayton County government website. Meanwhile, a group of cryptocurrency traders have claimed responsibility for the wave of sexual pranks plaguing WNBA games. What's more, they say they're doing it to promote their new meme coin. A spokesman for the cryptocurrency enthusiasts, told USA Today the group is responsible for the pranks and currently has more planned for the future. Furthermore, @Daldo_Rain said they've launched their own cryptocurrency, Green Dildo Coin (DILDO), which is a nod to the sex toys that have been thrown at WNBA players in the last two weeks. USA Today obtained text messages showing the group's coordinating efforts before the coin's July 28 launch. The first sex toy was thrown onto the court during an Atlanta Dream-Golden State Valkyries game the following day.
