In the newest release of Honkai: Star Rail version 3.2, all attention turns to the wonderful 5-star Wind character of the Erudition path, Anaxa. An AOE damage dealer in his own right, Anaxa is striking the scene with classy animations, fast attacks, and an astounding kit made for crowd control. Still, aiming for the first Eidolon (E1) of Anaxa could be one of the smartest moves to make for an elevation of gameplay, especially in end-game challenges.
What makes Anaxa's E1 so special?
Anaxa's E1 brings two advantages. It heals when a skill is used for the first time in the raid, and it also reduces enemy DEF upon being struck. While these enhancements may seem uncomplicated on paper, in actual application, they can radically change the tide of battle, especially in Memory of Chaos.
MUCH BETTER THAN I EXPECTED! | Anaxa Guide - Best Relics, Lightcones & Teams | Honkai: Star Rail
In many of the hardest encounters in Honkai: Star Rail, the SP economy is a great determinant. If a DPS refunds an SP on Skill use, the benefits are enormous, for the freedom of normal rotation is gained, saving other precious SP for teammates or ensuring full aggression without interruptions.
Anaxa's E1 shines in this regard, where SP can frequently become a constraining resource in any dual-DPS setup.
Anaxa's E1 also bestows a DEF shred effect to his attacks, rendering enemies more vulnerable to damage. This effect complements his Erudition perfectly, allowing multi-target attacks to enhance the team's overall damage, not just his.
While his signature Light Cone Life Should Be Cast to Flames has a similar DEF-lowering effect, it cannot restore SP, thus making E1 a more strategic investment for the long haul.
Light Cone or Eidolon?
Several players will wonder if they should prioritize 5-star Light Cone Anaxa over his E1. Although Life Should Be Cast to Flames offers a bonus Ultimate Energy amount and an incredible damage boost, in most cases it probably will not be best-in-class for every team build — especially dual DPS teams. The problem is that this Light Cone's utility will be heavily dependent on Anaxa's uptime and role, while E1 promises a consistent utility whatever the formation. Other budget options include Before Dawn or Today Is Another Peaceful Day as alternative Light Cones. Hence, for F2P or low-spending users who want to get the most for their penny without the need of chasing every item in the banners, E1 stands out as far more valuable in the long run.
Anaxa Is The Most Versatile Erudition Unit! |Best Anaxa Guide, Build & Showcase! - Honkai Star Rail
If you are interested to pull Anaxa on version 3.2, you can take one more step and get his E1. Anaxa's E1 definitely has some of the strongest quality-of-life improvements, thanks to SP regeneration and DEF shred, making him feel more breezy, stronger, and team-friendly. Given the constant changes happening within Honkai: Star Rail's late-game content, this pretty much creates the cut between success and failure.

Zenless Zone Zero leak reveals all animations of Yuzuha and Alice in Beta 2.1

Image via miHoYo Zenless Zone Zero is heating up again, and this time, it's not just the hype; it's the leaks. With the closed beta 2.1 now live, footage of new agents Yuzuha and Alice has started surfacing across the web. And if the leaks are anything to go by, HoYoverse fans are in for a stylish, action-packed treat. Here's everything we know about the key leaked animations and combat moves for Yuzuha and Alice. Leaked Combat and Other Animations for Yuzuha Yuzuha is not your average support character. She brings flair, finesse, and a red umbrella that's clearly more deadly than it looks. According to the leaked gameplay clips from the 2.1 beta, her movement is slick, and her attack animations are packed with personality. YUZUHA GAMEPLAY LEAKS & ANIMATIONS | 2.1 BETA | Zenless Zone Zero Combat Style Yuzuha dishes out Physical Damage and relies on fast, fluid strikes. Her regular attacks are sharp and rhythmic, with her umbrella spinning and slicing enemies with style. What stands out is her charged attack, where she seems to store power before delivering a sweeping AoE strike, which is elegant but deadly. Skill Animation One of the most charming parts of her kit? Her pet tanuki. During combat, the tanuki dashes toward enemies, exploding in a burst of AoE Physical damage. It's cute, chaotic, and pretty effective. Mobility and Visuals Another leaked highlight: Yuzuha can slide across the battlefield using her umbrella — literally gliding in and out of fights. This gives her a highly mobile, evasive playstyle, ideal for support players who love to keep the flow going. ZZZ 2.1: Alice Animations - Zenless Zone Zero Leaked Combat and Other Animations for Alice On the other hand, Alice is all about elegance and precision. Where Yuzuha dances around enemies, Alice cuts right through them. She's also a Physical-element agent, but unlike Yuzuha, she focuses on Anomaly damage that applies status effects while keeping her swordplay on point. Basic and Charged Attacks Leaked animations show Alice holding a golden saber, striking with finesse. Her charged attack begins with a calm stance with her saber pointed forward before exploding into a rapid combo sequence, bathing enemies in flashes of golden light. She ends her combo by confidently walking away, sword in hand. Stylish much? Ultimate Animation Her Ultimate appears to build on this elegance, with a cinematic feel as she stuns her enemies with a flash at the tip of her blade, then slices through with a smooth, polished finisher. While these details are based on leaks and may change in the final release, one thing's clear: Zenless Zone Zero's roster just got way cooler. Whether you're a support main or a flashy duelist, 2.1 might have just the agent you've been waiting for.

Honkai Star Rail Cipher Build Guide, Best Teams, Gameplay Tips and More

Image via: HoYoverse As a 5-star Quantum character introduced in Honkai: Star Rail 3.3, Cipher offers a unique combination of speed, debuffs, and delayed burst potential that can greatly influence battles. Whether you want Cipher built to debuff enemies, follow-up support, or sub-DPS roles, Cipher is a strong, flexible unit built to maximize total team damage. Cipher Overview: Swift and Strategic Cipher's combat style is based on action economy and debuff synergy. Naturally, as a unit of the powerful Nihility-path, her skills don't merely whittle down enemies — they erase enemy defenses, inflict vulnerabilities, and log damage for brutal delayed bursts through her Ultimate. Combined with natural SPD scaling and a CRIT Rate increase (50% from her Empyrean Strides), she acts before enemies almost every time while maintaining often-constant debuff uptime. Core Strengths Debuff Amplifier: Her kit debuffs enemies with DEF down and Vulnerability, letting the whole team reap the rewards. True Damage Dealer: With her recorded damage mechanic, Cipher provides a strong burst of usually ignored damage that gets shared across the targets. High SPD Utility: Hits hard and fast, frequently syncing nicely with DoT or secondary attack party setups. A COMPLETE Guide to Cipher! | Best Builds, Relics, Teams - HSR Best Cipher Build: Sub-DPS and Debuffer Hybrid Main Build Goal: Prioritize SPD and CRIT DMG, with enough Effect Hit Rate (EHR) to land consistent debuffs. Best Light Cones Best in Slot: Lies Dance on the Breeze – Provides DEF shred and SPD scaling, which all work in beautiful synergy with Cipher's 170+ SPD benchmark. F2P Option : Resolution Shines as Pearls of Sweat – Excellent for debuff teams, providing additional DEF reduction and supplementing her utility role. Relics & Ornament Sets: Relics : Pioneer Diver of Dead Waters — Must-have for teams with constant debuffs. Key to synergize with her ability to implant her own. Alternative Relics : Eagle of Twilight Line — Aimed at buffing her Ultimate and speed rotation for quicker debuff cycles. Ornaments : Firmament Frontline: Glamoth — Best for speed-focused builds (160+ SPD = bonus DMG). Lushaka, the Sunken Seas — Great energy regeneration and ATK buff support for DPS allies. Team Compositions: F2P Team: Cipher / Any DPS / Asta / Lynx Great for new players. Asta provides a speed buff to Cipher. Lynx brings the healing, and Cipher backs up with debuffs. Meta Acheron Team: Cipher / Acheron / Jiaoqiu / Aventurine For pure DoT comp, Cipher makes Slashed Dream stacks ramp up way quicker and debuffs make Acheron's damage spike. At E2 Acheron, replace Jiaoqiu with a Harmony buffer. Follow-Up Attack Team: Cipher / Feixiao / Robin / Aventurine Cipher's frequent turns and DEF shred improve consistency for follow-up units like Feixiao and Dr. Ratio. BEFORE You Pull Cipher! | Honkai Star Rail Cipher Guide Gameplay Tips Max her SPD at least 170 SPD to trigger her passive and maximize her turns. Balance Crit Stats With 50% CRIT Rate built into passives, aim to stack CRIT DMG. Synergize with Debuffers Because the mighty lady relies on debuffs to output her maximum damage and team utility, the more active, the merrier. Whether you're pushing endgame Memory of Chaos or synergizing with high-tier DPS units. No matter whether you agree politically with her or not, she's a worthy addition to any roster.

Genshin Impact 5.7 Update, New Character, New Features and More

Image via: HoYoverse With HoYoverse in its content flurry, Genshin 5.7: A Space and Time for You is the alignment towards one of the lore-rich and mechanically most manifold updates so far. The update will come live on June 18, 2025, bringing new characters long untold, carrying on the Traveler's tale, and rolling in gameplay features with permanent and seasonal tags, all of which go into the game's deep strategic extra dimensional matrix. Two New Faces, One Familiar Mystery Masterwork creation, at the center is one Skirk; long speculated, she finally emerges from the shadows. She is Childe's hidden mentor and one-time student of the Khaenri'ahn "Five Sinners," embodying the blending of Abyssal mystique with martial precision. Skirk is a 5-star sword wielder who carries a Cryo-themed kit but without the customary Vision. Instead, she utilizes a unique resource system known as Serpent's Subtlety. She can engage in two stances: one is for graceful swordplay, and the other for punishing bursts of AoE damage. Skirk really sets up the new-found paradigm of risk-reward gameplay for DPS mains. Dahlia stands alongside her as a 4-star Hydro support and the newly canonized Deacon of the Church of Favonius. Beneath his calm demeanor lies a kit that synergizes well with Freeze-based team comps. His Burst offers a renewable shield, spike ATK SPD for allies, and increases vertical mobility by lifting teammates skyward. Phase 2 Emilie, the Dendro alchemist, and Mavuika, the new Pyro Archon, back, matching the Natlan story arc. As always, with these banners, HoYoverse manages to continue its tradition of mixing new characters with community-favorite reruns. EVERYTHING WE KNOW ABOUT 5.7: Banners, Dainsleif quest, Free Character & MORE - Genshin Impact Version 5.7 holds many seismic shifts. The Archon Quest picks up from the 'Bedtime Story' chapter, going all the way to the bottom of the Abyss Order's mobilization in Natlan. The Traveler is reuniting with Dainsleif, perhaps in a combat-ready form for the first time, and the story seems to hint at the most direct confrontation yet with the Traveler's long-lost sibling. This chapter should only continue to unravel some of the game's most closely held mysteries concerning the Abyss, the Heavenly Principles, and the Traveler's true purpose. As relations are strained and loyalties unclear, 5.7 stands to be a watershed moment in Genshin's growing narrative tapestry. Events & Permanent Gameplay Enhancements In addition to the narrative, players can look forward to a brand new, Sumeru Akademiya-designed event game, a strategy-focused companion adventure with route selection and RNG fortuity, leading players to earn fantastic prizes like Primogems and a free-walk Sethos. Genshin Impact Version 5.7 Special Program #GenshinImpact #NewVersion #SpecialProgram Version 5.7 isn't simply a new area populated with new characters and stories, it's potentially paving the way for the next chapter of Genshin Impact's slowly unfolding, long-form narrative. From Abyssal revelations to long-awaited character debuts, even down to meaningful endgame rewards, this update serves as a testament to how HoYoverse is marrying player expectations with evolving gameplay innovation. As the Traveler gets ever closer to that truth and final confrontation, Genshin Impact continues to show players that it's so much more than a gacha game, it's an epic, ever-unfolding adventure.
