A MAN and a woman have been arrested following the death of a three-month-old baby.
Cops have confirmed an investigation is ongoing after the newborn died at a home near Canterbury, Kent, on Sunday morning.

Emergency services were scrambled to an address on Athelstan Road, in Thanington, at around midday.
Six police cars and four ambulances are understood to have been called to the property.
The two suspects, both in their 30s, were both taken into custody and have since been released on bail.
Kent Police told KentOnline that the pair were arrested in connection with the death.

A spokesperson for the force said: 'Inquiries into the circumstances surrounding the death are ongoing."

They were then handed wristbands giving them access to the VIP area at the front of the stage as Liam and Noel Gallagher banged out hits including Stand By Me and Slide Away. The two women masterminding the scam are said to have told them they had 'ten groups of 20' waiting — meaning around 200 are likely to have been sneaked in. One of the fans told us: 'We were given our tickets, which were all the same, and a woman drew a shape on our hands. 'We were told to go to the disabled door at entrance M, even though our tickets said entrance F. 'We showed our stamped hands to the person on the door, they scanned the tickets, even though we all had the same one, and let us in. 'Another member of staff then handed us a golden circle wristband and that was it. There were zero security searches. We just walked straight in.' Last night Wembley said cops could be called in to investigate. A spokesman said: 'Entering Wembley Stadium without a ticket is a serious offence and we are investigating these allegations. 'If they are substantiated, we will refer our evidence to the police.' Using Facebook groups dedicated to fans buying and selling tickets for Oasis shows, they approached numerous people desperate to see the band. There were zero security searches. We just walked straight in Fan One message reads: 'Hey if you're still looking for tickets let me know I can meet you in person and no payment until you're inside!' The punter who told The Sun about the scam said he was contacted on social media and told to pay a £10 deposit into one of the scammer's Monzo bank accounts. Once it was paid, he was put into a WhatsApp group. 6 He explained: 'Everyone in the group was told to go to the Sainsbury's shop at Wembley Way on Saturday. 'There were so many people there I got talking to them and we were all there for the same reason. 'Two women came and met us. They drew a shape on our hands and then a ticket was put into the WhatsApp group which we were to use. One of the women told me they were in a hurry because they had 'ten groups of 20 people' to get into the stadium. "They told us all to go to entrance M and head to the disabled entrance.' Hey if you're still looking for tickets let me know I can meet you in person and no payment until you're inside! One message The man, along with a friend and others in his group, went to the area at 5pm. He claims they were ushered inside after their tickets — all copies of the same one — were scanned with no questions asked. A message shared with The Sun from the WhatsApp group reveals one of the women giving her bank details again, along with her full name. She writes: 'Transfer to these details once inside. Don't forget. 'Someone is waiting inside and one payment is made you're free to do whatever.' The second woman, believed to be a relative of hers, then asks the group: 'Did all u lot get in??' We later contacted one of the scammers to ask about getting into Sunday night's Wembley gig. Two women came and met us. They drew a shape on our hands and then a ticket was put into the WhatsApp group which we were to use Fan Using encrypted messaging app Signal, she said: '£400 a ticket but I'm taking payment before anyone goes in! Yesterday was a f***ing s**tshow. Not doing that again.' Another punter, who bought tickets for Sunday night from the same scammers, told The Sun they were told to go to the disabled door. And a gig-goer told us their brother used the scam on Saturday night, paying £350. They said: 'Apparently loads of people didn't pay when they got in.' The Sun understands the ticket scam did not work on Sunday evening for the people we spoke to. Wembley has suffered security scandals before. In 2021 a steward helped ticketless fans into England's Euros footie final clash with Italy. Last night Oasis played their first of three shows in Edinburgh.

'Bizarre' incident as adult climbs into nappy bins outside nurseries to 'find comfort'

A defendant who dumped soiled adult nappies and climbed into bins outside children's nurseries has avoided an immediate jail term after being repeatedly assaulted while on remand. Abbi Taylor, who also appeared on the court list as Martin Tarling, smeared excrement on milk bottles and the fire escape of one nursery during a 'bizarre' series of incidents. A court has heard the 46-year-old identifies as a woman, but is being held at a men's prison and was referred to with both male and female pronouns during a sentencing hearing on Friday. Taylor was sentenced to two years in prison, which was suspended for two years after the judge heard about her 'particularly difficult time' in custody. The defendant, from South Shields, pleaded guilty to three counts of dumping bags of toxic materials – nappies containing human waste – at nurseries in South Tyneside. Taylor also admitted stealing clinical waste bags from one of the businesses and breaching a criminal behaviour order previously imposed by Nottinghamshire Magistrates' Court by being within 10 metres of a nursery without a reasonable excuse. After a previous sentencing hearing in April was adjourned, Newcastle Crown Court heard Taylor had been remanded in custody for almost three months after pleading guilty to three further breaches of a criminal behaviour order. Jane Foley, prosecuting, said staff at a nursery in Cleadon noticed nappies 'much larger than the ones they used' were being dumped on the premises 'on a fortnightly basis' and in May 2023, a female member of staff saw Taylor climbing out of one of the bins and running off. The manager at a South Shields nursery which suffered similar incidents reported seeing someone 'rooting around inside' one of the clinical waste bins in January 2023, the court heard. Another nursery in Jarrow had up to 50 nappies strewn around the car park and excrement smeared on children's milk bottles and the fire escape, with staff eventually refusing to open up in the morning, Ms Foley said. In April 2023, Nottinghamshire Magistrates imposed a three-year criminal behaviour order preventing Taylor from going within 100m of nurseries after she was convicted of causing harassment, alarm or distress at a nursery after being seen climbing out of a nappy bin wearing a large adult nappy over her trousers. Taylor was interviewed after that incident and admitted to going into a bin 'to sleep and find comfort'. The court was told of similar previous incidents going back to 2014. Ms Foley said in June this year Taylor admitted three breaches of a criminal behaviour order with bin-related incidents. In one incident, on September 25 last year, an outraged resident at a block of flats filmed Taylor standing inside one of the communal bins, hurriedly pulling up her trousers as she climbed out of the bin and ran off after being confronted. The court was told Taylor's Facebook profile referred to being an 'adult baby diaper lover'. Nick Lane, defending, said Taylor 'has had a particularly difficult time in custody' and 'been subject to a number of physical assaults'. He told the court: 'He has taken up three opportunities for employment in custody. 'First in horticulture where he had stones repeatedly thrown at him by prisoners. 'He was transferred to the library where he lasted half a day before being assaulted.' Mr Lane said Taylor was transferred back to the reception wing because the prison authorities said 'that was the only place he could be kept safe,' but is 'not leaving his cell out of fear'. The court heard a mental health report had concluded Taylor does not suffer from any diagnosable acute mental health condition. The defendant had 'awful personal circumstances and upbringing,' it was said. The judge, Recorder Richard Herrmann, said: 'This is a highly unusual and highly troubling set of offences, made all the more troubling by your failure to properly and fully explain the motivation behind your bizarre offending.' He said he would suspend the two-year prison sentence for two years after hearing about Taylor's time in custody, saying: 'I know that you know what to expect if you breach this order in any way.' Taylor, who will have a GPS monitoring tag, was also ordered to carry out 100 hours of unpaid work and 40 days of rehabilitation activity. A spokesperson for South Tyneside Council said: 'This was an unusual, complex and disturbing case which has been brought before the courts thanks to the hard work and persistence of our environmental enforcement and legal teams. 'We would like to commend the courage of nursery staff in safeguarding the children in their care, as well as for the assistance provided to our investigation. 'The offending has caused serious stress, disturbance and inconvenience to parents, staff, children and the public and we are satisfied that our investigation has resulted in the person responsible being convicted of appropriate criminality.'

The public's help was sought to find the missing man, described as being 6ft tall, of slim build with short grey hair and brown eyes. In an appeal for Donald's whereabouts, Kent police stated: "Donald Schofield was reported missing on Friday 8 August and was last seen driving southbound, away from his home address in Tenterden in a 2011 Ford Fiesta.
