The greatest tea in Zululand is almost here!
Dice (Do I Care Enough?) invites you to the 11th annual Tea on the Terrace on Saturday, 31 May at 10am at the Umfolozi Hotel Casino Convention Resort's Jabulani Dome.
Last year's event hosted 400 guests and raised R100 000.

This year's Bond Spectacular theme promises even more excitement, with celebrity guest speaker Rob Bentele, winner of Survivor SA: Island of Secrets.
Since outwitting, outplaying and outlasting his 2019 castaways, Rob recently returned from Australian Survivor: Australia vs the World. While he cannot divulge any 'island secrets', Rob, epitomises strength and has an overcoming spirit, corresponding with cancer survivors, which this fundraiser supports.
Get ready to step into a morning of glamour and intrigue, whether you arrive as a daring femme fatale or a classic Bond girl.
The event calls on corporates, churches, schools and friends to come together for a great cause.
Dice, the official charity arm of the Zululand Observer, uses funds raised to support cancer patients, survivors and their families.
Beneficiaries include The Butterfly Palliative Home – one of just four children's hospices in SA – and Thuthukani Special School, which supports children with intellectual disabilities.
Last year's donation is funding a room named 'Gemma's Nest' in honour of a brave young girl.
Tickets are R1 500 per table of 10.
As a hostess, you'll provide themed décor, crockery, and catering, while competing for the Ubuntu Floating Trophy. Expect light-hearted entertainment, networking, and meaningful moments over tea.
To book, email dice@zob.co.za or contact Kerry Krige at 035 7990500 or Karen Dalton at 083 6571488.
But hurry as tickets sell fast!

Speaking to TshisaLIVE, hit maker Cassper described playing poker as fun and exciting. 'I'm gambling here for a good cause to make a difference in somebody's life. But I'm preaching for responsible gambling. I'm happy to be here with great people,' he said. After an evening filled with excitement, strategy and celebration, Faith's team was victorious, securing R100,000 for her chosen charity, CHOC (Childhood Cancer Foundation SA).

Each runner will wear a race number bearing the name of a child from Talitha Cumi, making every stride personal and profoundly meaningful. All proceeds will directly support the home and its expansion efforts. To date, five homes have been built, with one already furnished and ready for occupancy and two more expected to be registered this year. These homes will provide full-time care, mentorship, and a stable foundation for the next generation. Tickets for the fun run cost R100 per person, and children under the age of five enter free.
