Justin Bieber's 'underlying issues' resurface despite Swag comeback and Hailey rekindling
The two-time Grammy-winner, 31, continues to have people who know him concerned for his well-being amid recent upticks with his career with the release of his latest album Swag; and a newfound solidarity in his marriage to wife Hailey, 28, the insider told the outlet.
The Peaches vocalist currently appears to be on much firmer ground with the supermodel, with whom he shares son Jack, 11 months.
While Hailey had been seen in public without her wedding ring last month, the couple appeared to be on affectionate terms when they were seen earlier this month in Switzerland.
The Canadian pop star 'doesn't particularly handle' the limelight 'well,' despite having one of the most recognizable faces on the planet, another source told Page Six.
Daily Mail has reached out to Bieber's rep for further comment on the story.
A source close to the pop star put the situation in perspective to the outlet: 'Imagine being 14 and famous and people either love you for no reason just because you're who you are, or they hate you? There's not a lot of in between.'
The source told Page Six they were 'concerned about Bieber's future, that 'a lot of people wouldn't deal well with that to begin with' and that 'it breaks a lot of people.'
Bieber's bad behavior has manifested in recent months in the form of arguing with Hailey online, acting erratically and clashing with paparazzi, a source told Page Six.
The material on the latest album, which Justin released July 11, included a trio of comedy skits with comic Druski.
One of the bits dubbed 'Therapy session,' in which Druski portrays a counselor, Bieber touches on the complications of living life in the limelight.
'That's been a tough thing for me recently - feeling like I have had to go through a lot of my struggles as a human, as all of us do, really publicly.
'And so people are always asking if I'm OK - and that starts to really weigh on me.'
Bieber said that the attention makes him feel like he's 'the one with the issues and everyone else is perfect.'
This past May, reps for Bieber issued a clear denial that he had been abused by Sean ' Diddy ' Combs when he was younger.
Bieber was among the guests in attendance at a raucous 2014 bash attended by Diddy, Cassie, Kanye West, Kim Kardashian, Kendall Jenner and a number of other celebs in shots Diddy posted and deleted more than a decade ago.
On May 15, Bieber's team issued the following statement to TMZ amid Combs' ongoing criminal trial.
'Although Justin is not among Sean Combs' victims, there are individuals who were genuinely harmed by him,' a rep for the musical artist told the outlet May 15. 'Shifting focus away from this reality detracts from the justice these victims rightfully deserve.'
Bieber sold rights to his catalog for $200 million in 2023, the Los Angeles Times reported.
Bieber's most recent studio album prior to Swag was Justice in 2021. The album garnered critical acclaim and spawned successful commercial tracks such as Peaches, a Billboard Hot 200 chart-topper; and the top 10 hits Holy, Anyone and Ghost.
Bieber in February of 2023 officially canceled the remainder of his Justice World Tour after the singer said he was diagnosed with the condition Ramsay Hunt syndrome, which can lead to facial paralysis.
Bieber had previously had to cancel shows on the tour in the fall of 2022, explaining his absences from the stage in an emotional post on his Instagram Stories.
Hailey was seen donning her wedding ring at a fashion industry event in April
'Earlier this year, I went public with my battle with Ramsay-Hunt Syndrome, where my face was partially paralyzed,' he said. 'As a result of this illness, I was not able to complete the North American leg of the Justice Tour.
He said that he suffered health woes after performing a set at the Rock in Rio festival.
'After getting off stage, the exhaustion overtook me and I realized that I need to make my health the priority right now,' he said. 'So I'm going to take a break from touring for the time being. I'm going to be OK, but I need time to rest and get better.
'I've been so proud to bring this show and our message of Justice to the world. Thank you for your prayers and support throughout all of this! I love you all passionately!'

Transgender actress Laverne Cox under fire from her woke fans after revealing 'MAGA cop' boyfriend
Transgender actress Laverne Cox is under fire from her own fans after admitting that she secretly dated a Trump-supporting police officer for four years. The star, 53, who is known for her extremely progressive politics, enraged her woke fanbase after dropping the bombshell about her love life in a video to promote her upcoming one-woman show. She also admitted that her cop lover was 22 years younger than her. 'He was 26, I was 48,' she explained. 'He is a blonde hair, blue-eyed MAGA Republican voter who is a New York City police officer.' While they're no longer dating, Cox admitted that they were 'madly in love' during their time together. She also gushed about how 'hot' he was, but insisted that she never adopted any of his conservative political views. The post was met with extreme backlash from fans of the Orange Is the New Black star, with many expressing complete shock and disbelief that she could date a Republican while publicly preaching her progressive politics. 'You should've taken this to the grave babe,' wrote, while another commented, 'So you recorded this, edited, and STILL pressed upload? A third commented, 'It's the smiling with pride, that's bothering me. As if it were a badge of honor.' Another said, 'Sooooo the morals are dismissed when he's hot. Got it.' After feeling the fury from her fanbase, Cox attempted to fix the situation by releasing a 53-minute video diving into her own politics as well as the reality of the relationship. She also said that some of her fans were 'dehumanizing people with different political beliefs', which she said was 'not consistent with my values'. On top of that, the star insisted that she wasn't MAGA and had 'never' voted for Trump. 'What was beautiful about the relationship I had with my ex is that for three and a half of the four years we dated it was amazing and we would agree to disagree, and managed to still have fun, managed to still see each other's humanity and love each other across these differences,' she said. Despite her clarification, Cox still received backlash from her progressive followers. 'Respectfully, why are you navigating a relationship with a blonde, blue-eyed, MAGA, Republican?' asked one. A second commented, 'He voted against YOU! He voted against who you are and what you stand for, your basic rights! He voted against who you advocate for, your trans community. You may have 'loved' him, but he most certainly did NOT love you.' 'Respectfully.....I think you need to love yourself more. Because you SIGNIFICANTLY lowered yourself to be with a man who did not deserve you,' wrote a third. Last November, Cox publicly stated that she and her transgender friends were considering moving out of the country due to Donald Trump's presidency. 'We're doing research on different cities in Europe and in the Caribbean,' she told Variety. Cox went as far as comparing the Trump administration's anti-LGBTQ rhetoric to the German Reich of the early 1900s. 'There was this a thriving community of queer people in Berlin pre the rise of Nazism. They attacked Jewish folks. They attacked immigrants, they attacked queer and trans people,' she said. 'I don't want to be in too much fear, but I'm scared. As a public figure, with all my privilege, I'm scared, and I'm particularly scared because I'm a public figure,' she continued. 'I feel like I could be targeted. I think they spent close to $100 million on anti-trans ads. It's deeply concerning.'

Miley Cyrus's sister Noah, 25, sparks fresh plastic surgery speculation with dramatic new look
Noah Cyrus stepped out in New York City on Tuesday for an appearance at SiriusXM Studios, where she promoted her latest album, I Want My Loved Ones to Go with Me. But alongside buzz about her new music, the 25-year-old singer also drew renewed attention over ongoing speculation regarding her evolving appearance. As she continues her press tour, fans and online commentators have reignited conversations about whether the Grammy-nominated artist has quietly undergone cosmetic surgery. In response to the artist's dramatic new look, some social media users have theorized that her slimmer nose bridge, more defined tip, fuller lips and enhanced cheek contours could be the result of more than just good makeup. While Cyrus has not publicly addressed the rumors, her noticeably more sculpted facial features have become a frequent topic of debate across pop culture forums and celebrity commentary accounts. In a widely-viewed 2024 TikTok video, plastic surgeon Dr. Gary Motykie offered his professional observations on Cyrus's changing looks. He suggested that her face had taken on what he described as 'verging on the alien look,' due to her overfilled cheeks and more prominent chin. Dr. Motykie suggested that scaling back on her alleged enhancements might help restore balance and a more natural aesthetic. It's also worth noting that changes in appearance can also result from makeup techniques, lighting, aging or even natural facial development. Other factors for Noah, specifically, include how she experiments with different hair colors and even bleached her eyebrows last year. Dr. Giselle Prado-Wright, told exclusively that she doesn't 'see obvious signs of major structural work like rhinoplasty' (from surgical perspective). 'Noah appears to have the same aquiline nasal bridge,' Dr. Prado-Wright stated. 'What fans are picking up on is likely the result of styling shifts: darker hair, fuller lips, and contoured makeup dramatically change the perception of her features.' The cosmetic surgeon noted that Noah's 'current look mirrors the 'Instagram face' aesthetic.' 'She has plump lips, sculpted cheeks, fox-eye liner, which is heavily influenced by non-invasive treatments like filler and strategic Botox placement. She's got a totally different vibe without going under the knife,' Dr. Prado-Wright concluded. Daily Mail has reached out to Noah's representatives for comment, but they have not yet responded. Alongside buzz about her new music, the 25-year-old singer also drew renewed attention over ongoing speculation regarding her evolving appearance In response to Noah's dramatic new look, some social media users have speculated that her slimmer nose bridge, more defined tip, fuller lips, and enhanced cheek contours could be the result of aesthetic enhancements In 2020, Noah got vulnerable about growing up in the spotlight. 'I struggle with depression and anxiety, and I have since I was very young. And I also have suffered from body and face dysmorphia,' she revealed to NPR. She continued: 'I just could not look in a mirror and my eyes would water and I would cry and I'd tell my mom how much I hate myself and how ugly I feel and how I just feel like this speck in the universe that didn't matter and that the universe didn't care to hear from me.' The July singer, who kicked off her acting career at age two with a recurring role on Doc, explained that she was convinced nobody cared what she had to say. 'It's hard because a lot of people around me tell me not to let the public and their view weigh in on my life,' Noah told listeners. 'Obviously I am so blessed, the family that I live. As many pros as that comes with, that the public sees, there's a lot of cons that come with that.' The star went on to confess that it 'hurt' her being famous for being 'Billy Ray Cyrus' daughter and Miley Cyrus' little sister.' 'I felt as if I lost my own identity. After a certain amount of time that makes you feel like nobody knows who you are, and that makes you feel like no one cares about you or your identity,' she clarified. In 2021, Noah told her Instagram followers that watching American Horror Story helped her during her mental health struggles. 'I spent my years from 13-17 kinda being the kid that locked herself away in her dark room cause being out in the world made me feel so lost and so insecure,' she revealed. 'My body dysmorphia and depression was just eating away at my soul. it was so much pain for such a little body.' The performer added: 'But something about the show gave me comfort.. there was something else as painful and f**ked up out there as i felt on the inside.' Growing up, Noah also admitted she felt 'stripped her of her own identity' living in the shadow of her older sister Miley, who is considered one of the biggest stars of her generation. Noah previously discussed aging in the public eye while appearing on The Rebecca Judd Show in 2020. 'They were already so terrible to me on the Internet about the way I looked and the way that I grew up. And that was just the way that my face that God gave me,' she recalled. 'And I was so sad that people had such terrible things to say about something I had no control of changing. And it just made me feel like so many people... that I learned to hate myself. While struggling with body dysmorphia, anxiety and depression as a teenager, Noah recalled her boyfriend giving her anti-anxiety medication. '[He] was the first person that gave me a Xanax, and it became a way for us to bond,' she told Rolling Stone in 2022. Noah, who was 18 at the time, said she 'wanted to fit in with him' and just 'wanted to be what he wanted and what he thought was cool.' Ultimately, she said abusing Xanax helped her 'silence things out for a second and numb' her pain. 'It just kind of becomes this dark pit, bottomless pit,' she continued, sharing that her recreational habit morphed into a full-blown addiction that caused her to sleep through the day, wake up disoriented at 8 p.m. and lose track of time, which was only made worse by the pandemic,' she told the outlet. At her worst, she confessed that she was 'completely nodding off and falling asleep, and unable to keep' her head up while promoting her 2020 The End of Everything EP.

Kennedy Centre Opera House could be renamed after Melania Trump
The Kennedy Centre's Opera House could be renamed after Melania Trump. Republican Senator for Idaho Mike Simpson proposed the change during a House appropriations committee markup of the centre's funding. Committee members were considering if the change should be made on Tuesday. Mrs Trump is an honorary chairwoman of the Kennedy Centre's board, as is tradition for first ladies. The Opera House is the Washington DC-based institution's second largest theatre, behind the Concert Hall. Mr Trump sacked the chairman of the Kennedy Centre board and its 13 trustees soon after coming into office – making himself chairman and Richard Grenell, his Venezuela envoy, the interim leader. He said his reason for terminating the contracts of members of the board of trustees is that they did not 'share our vision for a golden age in arts and culture '. Since Mr Trump's takeover, the Kennedy Centre's new president has expressed a wish to scrap the current programming and has so far announced a 'big, huge celebration of the birth of Christ at Christmas'. Mr Trump's takeover of the centre – one of the foremost cultural institutions in the US – has been greeted with dismay in the arts world. Lin Manuel Miranda, the brain behind the Broadway musical Hamilton cancelled shows at the centre in March, in protest over Mr Trump. Issa Rae and the musician Rhiannon Giddens also cancelled shows. Ben Folds, the songwriter, and Renee Fleming, the singer, stepped down from advisory positions on the board following the Maga takeover. Vice-President JD Vance and his wife, Usha, were booed by the audience when attending a concert by the National Symphony Orchestra in March.
