Clemson vs. South Carolina 2025 game time announced, reactions to the early time slot
The kickoff time is set for Clemson's regular-season finale against rival South Carolina.
The Tigers and Gamecocks will meet at noon on Friday, Nov. 29 at Williams-Brice Stadium in Columbia, with the game airing on either ABC or ESPN. It's the third time in the past four years the Palmetto Bowl will be played at noon.
Clemson will look to bounce back from last year's 17-14 loss at home, a game that ended the Tigers' seven-game win streak in the rivalry. Dabo Swinney's team will also aim to continue its road dominance in Columbia, where Clemson has won five straight dating back to 2015.
With a win, the Tigers would secure six straight victories at South Carolina for the first time since a stretch from 1989 to 1999. The Gamecocks haven't beaten Clemson at home since 2013, and the Tigers will be eager to keep it that way this fall.
Along with the announcement of the game time came reactions. Like last year, people are mixed on the noon game.

Ohio State Athletic Director Ross Bjork meets with media to discuss state of program

Ohio State Athletic Director Ross Bjork meets with media to discuss state of program College athletics continue to be transformed at breakneck speed. Over the last few years, we've seen conferences re-align, Name, Image and Likeness become prevalent and extremely meaningful, the transfer portal turn college athletics into free-agency, and now, we have direct revenue sharing taking center stage after the approval of the House Settlement. With all of that going on, and with the recent news that will again change things, Ohio State Athletic Director Director Ross Bjork took some time to meet with the media to give a state of college athletics, what it means for Ohio State, and provide some direction of the program given the size and impact of such a massive athletic department. He also took time to field some questions from the media that made their way to the banks of the Olentangy. It was a long and wide-ranging press conference, but we felt it necessary to provide the full video and audio of Bjork's time at the podium on Thursday to give you the full scale of all of his comments. Watch and listen to Bjork discuss things like the House Settlement, how revenue sharing will be funded, expanding the College Football Playoff, the status of night games, and much more. Thanks to WBNS 10TV, the CBS affiliate in Columbus for the video. This won't be the last time we hear from Bjork with the everchanging landscape of college athletics. Ohio State had a really good AD with Gene Smith prior to Bjork's arrival, and so far the newest AD seems to know what he's doing and is ready to also knock it out of the park. Clemson climbs ESPN's latest 2026 recruiting rankings as the hot recruiting run continues

Clemson football's 2026 recruiting class continues to climb the national ranks as ESPN bumped the Tigers up to No. 4 in its latest update, reflecting a strong June filled with key visits and commitments. The Tigers now boast 10 ESPN 300 commitments, keeping them firmly in the top tier of national recruiters. Leading the charge on offense is recent addition Leo Delaney, the top-rated offensive commit in the class according to ESPN. The offensive tackle ranks No. 75 overall and No. 11 at his position. He joins a deep group of highly rated linemen that includes Carter Scruggs, Grant Wise, Adam Guthrie, and Chancellor Barclay — all ESPN 300 prospects. With several veterans on track to graduate after the 2025 season, this group will play a vital role in reloading Clemson's offensive front for the future. Advertisement 'The Tigers are making sure they have the time to get the ball downfield by loading up along the offensive line,' ESPN's Craig Haubert noted. He also pointed to four-star quarterback Tait Reynolds, a dual-threat prospect out of Arizona, as someone who could eventually develop into a long-term answer behind center once Cade Klubnik's time at Clemson ends. While much of the class is built around offense, the Tigers have also landed a key defensive piece in in-state standout Kentavion Anderson. At roughly 6-foot-2, 190 pounds, Anderson brings length and athleticism to the back end of the defense and is expected to be a versatile presence in the secondary. Clemson holds the No. 4 spot not only in ESPN's rankings, but also in the 247Sports Composite, with a No. 2 ranking from 247Sports and No. 3 from Rivals. On3 ranks the class No. 7 overall. With more decisions on the horizon and strong recruiting momentum, Clemson remains well-positioned to finish with one of the top classes in the country. Notre Dame hires alum Jas Smith as Director of Operations for women's basketball

Notre Dame women's basketball has added a new member to the front-office family. Jas Smith is the new Director of Operations for the Fighting Irish. The 2016 Notre Dame graduate is returning after serving as the director of operations for LSU football since January of 2022. It's no shock that Smith was working for former Notre Dame football head coach Brian Kelly in Baton Rouge -- she served as his coordinator of on-campus recruiting at Notre Dame from 2018-2021. Advertisement Before that, she was an ambassador for Notre Dame football while an undergraduate student in South Bend. She has a degree in information technology management from Notre Dame. She also worked as an admissions counselor at Notre Dame from 2016-2017. She worked as a director for undergraduate admissions at Nova Southeastern University after leaving Notre Dame, and she had a stop at the Special Olympics in Miami, where she was a senior sports manager, in 2021 when she was between stints working for Kelly. She'll be working under new men's and women's basketball general manager Pat Garrity. The men's team is continuing to try to rebuild, while the women's team will be working to get over a disappointing Sweet 16 loss in last season's tournament. The women's team had been expected to compete for a championship. Welcome back to campus, Jas.
