Populat TV host Bradley Walsh has amassed a sizeable fortune from his successful career. Bradley has been at the forefront of The Chase since it launched in 2009.
The ITV presenter invites contestants to showcase their general knowledge and vie for a substantial cash prize. He also presents a celebrity edition where famous faces aim to win money for their chosen charities.
As he rings in his 65th birthday with close family and friends, we delve into what he earns from this top-rated TV programme.
After spearheading the show for over 16 years, the father-of-two recently struck a new agreement to continue his stint on the ITV quiz show amidst rumours of his potential departure.

Reportedly securing a pay hike from his previous £3.5 million earnings, Bradley, who also hosts a range of other programmes, is now considered ITV's highest-earning male presenter after Ant and Dec, reports the Express.
An insider disclosed to The Sun: "Bradley is one of the network's most popular presenters and is hugely likeable. During negotiations for his contract to be renewed, bosses at ITV were concerned he might quit if he wasn't happy with his package. There was a real concern he might walk away."
The beloved TV host is now raking in a cool £4 million a year to stay on as the face of The Chase, including a sizeable increase of about £500,000 to his pay packet. With this commitment, Bradley secures his spot at the helm of the quiz show for its 16th year on television, a move that has reportedly filled the production team with joy.
An insider expressed: "The Chase is returning for its 16th year and Bradley is a much-valued host. Everyone at the show is delighted."
Reflecting on why The Chase has outpaced rivals like The Weakest Link in the battle for viewers, Walsh shared his insights with Radio Times.

He pointed out: "The Weakest Link was a good show, but the problem with it was it was constantly putting people down and not being very pleasant."
On the contrast, Bradley praised The Chase's positive atmosphere, saying: "Our show is not like that. It's always a very uplifting show and you know we have a lot of fun."
He also recalled the public's instant fondness for The Chase and how fans reached out to him with their comments.
He shared: "The amount of people that came up and said, 'Hey Brad - we've seen your new show. The Chase is great. We really, really like it. It's the best thing we've seen for a long time. So much better than The Weakest Link, which we were up against at the time."
The Chase is on ITV1 weekdays at 5pm and on ITVX

An insider teased: "She wasn't able to commit to hosting Aftersun this season due to other work commitments, but she will be back on screen in some capacity later in the run." While it's not confirmed, one fan theory is that she is believed to be filming the US version of The Traitors, following in the footsteps of fellow Love Island star Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu. It is thought that she may return to host Aftersun for the second season of Love Island Games, which films later this year in Fiji. The cast for the next series of The Traitors USA has yet to be officially confirmed. The Love Island shake-up news was announced last night via an instagram post on the show's official account. Benidorm star confesses they are 'close to living in a cardboard box' seven years after the ITV comedy show ended

Benidorm star Crissy Rock has confessed she now lives like a 'nomad' and could find herself in a 'cardboard box' seven years after the ITV show ended. The comedian, 66, who played hotel manageress Janey York in the series, explained that her career and upcoming UK tour has resulted in sleeping 'couch to couch' while keeping her possessions in the boot of her car. As well as starring in Benidorm, Crissy won numerous awards for her role in 1994 movie Ladybird, Ladybird before going on to appear on I'm A Celeb and Celebrity Come Dine With Me and Celebrity Masterchef. She told The Express: 'Me, I'm like a nomad. I live from place to place to place. My wardrobe is just the boot of my car. If it wasn't for my friend, I would be living in a hostel or a cardboard box'. 'When I'm in Liverpool, I go and see her and I have family and that so I just sort of move around from couch to couch.' From A-list scandals and red carpet mishaps to exclusive pictures and viral moments, subscribe to the DailyMail's new Showbiz newsletter to stay in the loop. Benidorm star Crissy Rock, 66, has confessed she now lives like a 'nomad' and could find herself in a 'cardboard box' seven years after the ITV show ended Explaining the reasons behind her new lifestyle, she told the publication it was due to her work that can take her around the country at a moments notice. Crissy appeared as Solana Hotel boss Janey for the show's first four seasons, before retuning sporadically until her final exit during season seven. The comedy continued for another three years before being axed in May 2018. Asked if she would be keen to see the comedy make a return, Crissy said: 'I've heard that the show could come back and I think that it would be brilliant if they did bring it back. But I can't say much, but I would love it to happen'. Just two months after its cancellation was confirmed, the show won Best cCmedy at TV Choice Awards - with its creator Derren Litten calling out the decision in his acceptance speech at the time. Now its been reported it could be making a comeback, with The Sun claiming earlier this year that TV bosses are in talks to reboot the show. A TV insider told the publication: 'Benidorm was adored by millions when it was suddenly cancelled. Fans will be thrilled to hear ITV wants to bring it back. 'An 11th series hasn't been commissioned yet, but there's major excitement building as early talks begin. 'Producers have started to reach out to the show's stars and are hopeful a decision can be made later this year.' She said: 'Me, I'm like a nomad. I live from place to place to place. My wardrobe is just the boot of my car. If it wasn't for my friend, I would be living in a hostel or a cardboard box' Explaining the reasons behind her new lifestyle, she told the publication it was all due to her work that can take her around the country at a moments notice As well as starring in Benidorm, Crissy won numerous awards for her role in 1994 movie Ladybird, Ladybird before going on to appear on I'm A Celeb in 2011 (pictured) Fans were ecstatic as the news circulated online, writing: 'Sincerely hope this is true!! Dearly missed show!'; 'Feel like I'm dreaming. Really hope they make this happen,'; 'Omg yay I hope they all come back!!'; 'Ur 5 days late for april fools... or its actually real?!?! Finally ITV bringing back a INCREDIBLE Show,'; 'Omg! I'm absolutely buzzing with excitement! This is the best news ever! I really hope the Garvey's come back!' 'I hope so cause that would be the best birthday present every.' The ITV Brits abroad sitcom - which followed a group of holidaymakers in the Spanish resort and their hilarious escapades - came to an end in May 2018 after 11 years, and fans have been begging for more ever since. In 2023, show creator Derren teased a return of the beloved series as he announced that he was returning back to writing for 'both television and theatre'. He said: 'I have had clear, recent indications that certain TV channels are interested in my decision and I hope you will be watching the fruits of my labour in time to come.' Then, in March 2025 he sparked hope of its comeback once again when a fan asked on X: '@DerrenLitten @ITV Another series of Benidorm on the cards?' and he cryptically replied: 'Who knows...' Announcing the news on social media that it had been axed in 2018, Derren said: 'Crazy to think Wednesday will be the last episode of Benidorm! 'I created the series over 11 years ago, wrote it, guest starred in it and ended up directing it. It's difficult to think what else there is to do! Thank you for watching!'

Ryan Thomas shares wife's off-screen involvement in Sue Cleaver's Corrie exit

Ryan Thomas spent 16 years on the Corrie set with his mum Eileen, played by Sue Cleaver - so when she finally called it a day on the ITV soap, he was there to send her off Corrie star Ryan Thomas has given his wife Lucy Mecklenburgh a tour around his on-screen childhood home, as he paid tribute to his TV mum Eileen after Sue Cleaver's emotional departure from the soap. Ryan, 40, shares two children with TOWIE star Lucy Meck, but he had already left the show by the time they got together. Ryan spent his teenage years in Weatherfield, having joined the Manchester-based ITV soap in 2000. He stayed until 2016, when his character, builder Jason Grimshaw left the cobbles after being manipulated by his mum Eileen's partner Pat Phelan. ‌ But Jason wasn't killed off, and instead emigrated to Thailand, with his mum Eileen mentioning him often on the soap. And with Sue Cleaver finally leaving Corrie for good, he took the opportunity to show Lucy, 33, around the set. ‌ Sharing a video on Instagram of Lucy walking through the Grimshaws' living room, he wrote: "I was never with @lucymeck while I was in the show so it was nice to finally show my superfan where I grew up." Another clip showed Sue being given a round of applause, before hugging her on-screen sons Jason and Todd, who was played by Bruno Langley originally, and then Gareth Pierce since 2017. Ryan wrote: "Haven't seen it yet but Eileen/mother departed Weatherfield tonight, gone but never forgotten. "It has been an honour to watch, learn and act alongside you one last time. Can't wait to watch you shine in your next chapter. Love you always." Sue confirmed rumours that Ryan would be returning to the Cobbles for her send off. Speaking on soap podcast Off Script, she said: "I rang Ryan Thomas and I said, 'Ryan, I've not told work yet but I'm gonna leave. Would you come back? I'd really like you to take me out'. ‌ "He said, 'I wasn't planning to but I can't refuse that can I'. It just felt really right that he was there. It was lovely having him there. He's not changed at all." Following her final episode on Friday night, Sue's character Eileen was seen leaving for a new life in Thailand, alongside her son Jason. Simon Gregson's character Steve McDonald, Tony Maudsley's George Shuttleworth, and Eileen's son Todd, played by Gareth Pierce, all said goodbye to the matriarch before drivers from the local taxi firm honked their horns as she was driven off. In an Instagram post, Cleaver said: 'Well… that's a wrap. 25 years of laughs, tears, costumes, chaos — and one unforgettable journey. I'll miss this character like crazy, but what a ride it's been. Thank you for every moment.' ‌ Sue has played outspoken Eileen in the ITV show since 2000, who started her life in Weatherfield working on the phones at local taxi firm Streetcars. She arrived with her tearaway teenagers Jason and Todd, and became friends with her boss Steve. Sue came third on I'm A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! in 2022, where she opened up about reconciling with her birth mother. She also revealed how her family is 'bizarrely interconnected' to other Coronation Street stars, including Helen Worth (who plays Gail Platt) who is godmother to one of her half-sisters. Meanwhile, her other half-sister's husband, John Bowe, appeared on the cobbles as Duggie Ferguson. In 2024, Sue released a book A Work In Progress in which she discusses how she feels she is not past her prime, and has been a panellist on ITV daytime chat show Loose Women.
