Pixar's "Elio" Unviles Trailer
Yara Sameh
Pixar has released the official trailer for the animated science fiction movie "Elio".
The voice cast includes Yonas Kibreab, Jameela Jamil, Brad Garrett, Zoe Saldaña, Remy Edgerly, and Shirley Henderson.
"Elio" centers on the titular 11-year-old (Kibreab), who is mistaken for the ruler of Earth when he is beamed up to join an interplanetary group that includes representatives from various galaxies.
Domee Shi and Madeline Sharafian helmed Elio after initial writer-director Adrian Molina's exit. Mary Alice Drumm produces the film.
During a previous interview with YouTube show Kids First, Kibreab said he expected the film to spur a variety of feelings from audiences.
'They're gonna feel all different kinds of emotions,' he said at the time. 'They're gonna be laughing, they're gonna maybe tear up — I don't know — and they're also just gonna be super happy because the movie is just generally a very funny and exciting movie.'
Pixar is coming off the success of "Inside Out 2" which hit theaters in June and became the highest-grossing title of 2024 at the global box office. It was also nominated for the Oscar for best animated feature.
"Elio" was first scheduled for release on March 1, 2024, before its debut was delayed. It opens in theaters on June 20.

BTS Reunion Nears as Jimin, Jungkook, RM, V Complete Military Service
Yara Sameh K-pop group BTS' members Jimin and Jungkook were discharged from the South Korean military on Wednesday, the fifth and sixth to complete the country's mandatory service, prompting fan frenzy and anticipation for their long-awaited reunion. On Tuesday morning, fans and media began gathering near Yeoncheon Public Stadium in Gyeonggi Province to welcome the two stars. The two K-pop idols appeared with bright smiles, offering brief greetings and expressing their sincere gratitude to supporters who had waited for their return. 'Thank you to the fans and reporters who came to see us,' Jimin said. 'It's been a long time, from the pandemic to military service. Now that we're back, we'll work hard to show you what we've prepared.' 'There were a lot of unforgettable moments,' Jungkook added. 'Thanks to everyone who served with us and supported us along the way.' Jimin also hinted at what's to come: 'Now that I'm discharged, I think it's time we continue drawing the picture we had in mind. We'll prepare well and share it with you soon.' He concluded: 'Military life wasn't easy, but I'm grateful for the memories. If you see a soldier on the street, a warm gesture can mean a lot.' The duo enlisted together in late 2023, completing basic training at the same boot camp before being assigned to separate units. Jimin served with the military band under the 5th Infantry Division, while Jungkook completed his service with the Baekma Division. Members RM and V were discharged on Tuesday, and the last to wrap up his service will be Suga on June 21, who is currently fulfilling his alternative service as a social worker. RM and V greeted fans with salutes and a saxophone performance after being discharged. V asked fans to "wait just a little longer" for BTS to reunite. Hundreds of fans, some of whom flew in from overseas, gathered in front of Hybe's headquarters in central Seoul to celebrate RM's and V's return on Tuesday. Many of them were dressed in purple, BTS' signature colour, and carried large banners and photographs of the two K-pop idols. South Korea requires all able-bodied men aged 18 to 28 to serve for about two years in the military so the country can be ready to fight the North. On Tuesday, Hybe displayed a banner saying "We are back", along with the official logos of BTS and ARMY - an acronym for the band's fan group, which stands for Adorable Representative MC for Youth - on its building. The seven-member group put their global music career on hold in 2022 to begin their service at the height of their global fame, starting with Jin in December that year, each serving duties of varying lengths as long as 18 months. The group will make their highly anticipated first public reunion at the upcoming 2025 BTS FESTA, taking place June 13-14 at KINTEX in Goyang, South Korea. The event promises to be a powerful homecoming celebration for fans worldwide and the start of BTS' next chapter. BTS, also known as the Bangtan Boys or "Bulletproof Boy Scouts" in Korean, began forming in 2010 after Big Hit Entertainment founder Bang Si-hyuk recruited RM, followed by Jin, Suga, J-Hope, Jimin, V, and Jungkook. However, the band officially debuted in 2013, but it wasn't until 2017 when a highly successful US tour propelled their blend of pop, hip-hop and R&B - mostly in Korean - onto the global stage. Since then, the septet has become the most-streamed group on Spotify, the first K-pop act to top the US iTunes chart and several Billboard charts, and one of the most awarded groups in history. BTS has actively advocated for youth issues, including through a mental health initiative with UNICEF. It has also addressed the United Nations General Assembly and met with former US President Joe Biden to discuss the rise in anti-Asian hate crimes. In recent years, each of the seven members has also made a mark individually, with all scoring solo entries on the Hot 100. The band had previously won a deferral, when in 2020, the nation's parliament passed a bill allowing them to delay their duties until the age of 30. In 2022, the oldest member of the group, Jin, enlisted, and the others followed suit. read more New Tourism Route To Launch in Old Cairo Ahmed El Sakka-Led Play 'Sayidati Al Jamila' to Be Staged in KSA on Dec. 6 Mandy Moore Joins Season 2 of "Dr. Death" Anthology Series Don't Miss These Movies at 44th Cairo Int'l Film Festival Today Amr Diab to Headline KSA's MDLBEAST Soundstorm 2022 Festival Arts & Culture Mai Omar Stuns in Latest Instagram Photos Arts & Culture "The Flash" to End with Season 9 Arts & Culture Ministry of Culture Organizes four day Children's Film Festival Arts & Culture Canadian PM wishes Muslims Eid-al-Adha News China Launches Largest Ever Aircraft Carrier Sports Former Al Zamalek Player Ibrahim Shika Passes away after Long Battle with Cancer Lifestyle Get to Know 2025 Eid Al Adha Prayer Times in Egypt News Prime Minister Moustafa Madbouly Inaugurates Two Indian Companies Business Fear & Greed Index Plummets to Lowest Level Ever Recorded amid Global Trade War Arts & Culture Zahi Hawass: Claims of Columns Beneath the Pyramid of Khafre Are Lies News Flights suspended at Port Sudan Airport after Drone Attacks News Shell Unveils Cost-Cutting, LNG Growth Plan Videos & Features Video: Trending Lifestyle TikToker Valeria Márquez Shot Dead during Live Stream Technology 50-Year Soviet Spacecraft 'Kosmos 482' Crashes into Indian Ocean

Taylor Swift Granted Temporary Restraining Order against Stalker
Yara Sameh Taylor Swift has been granted a temporary restraining order against Brian Jason Wagner, a 45-year-old man from Colorado who has traveled to her Los Angeles residence multiple times and has made claims that he shares a child with the pop star. Judge Debra R. Archuleta has ordered Wagner to keep a distance of at least 100 yards from Swift. The musician petitioned the court for the order on Friday, June 6. 'During each of these visits, I am informed that Mr. Wagner made various statements about living at my property (not true), being in a relationship with me (not true), believing I am the mother of his son (not true), and needing to see me in person, all of which are untrue and disconnected from reality,' Swift said. After making an initial appearance at the singer's home in July 2024, Wagner allegedly returned 'carrying a glass bottle that could have been used as a weapon,' per Billboard. Another section states that the alleged stalker illegally obtained an identification card that connected his name to Swift's address. He also attempted to collect her mail. 'I do not share publicly where I reside and have never shared my address or the location of my Los Angeles residence with Mr. Wagner,' Swift wrote. 'Therefore, the fact that Mr. Wagner has determined where I reside and visited the property several times, refusing to leave and claiming to need access, makes me fear for my safety and the safety of my family.' This past May, Wagner visited the property twice, Swift said. A recent background check revealed that Wagner's fixation extends back to his time in jail, where he wrote 'lengthy communications' claiming he was romantically connected to her. 'The fact that both of these recent visits and Mr. Wagner's inappropriate and threatening communications to my staff about me have escalated in recent weeks creates a fear of imminent harm,' Swift said. The temporary restraining order is in place until Monday, June 30. read more New Tourism Route To Launch in Old Cairo Ahmed El Sakka-Led Play 'Sayidati Al Jamila' to Be Staged in KSA on Dec. 6 Mandy Moore Joins Season 2 of "Dr. Death" Anthology Series Don't Miss These Movies at 44th Cairo Int'l Film Festival Today Amr Diab to Headline KSA's MDLBEAST Soundstorm 2022 Festival Arts & Culture Mai Omar Stuns in Latest Instagram Photos Arts & Culture "The Flash" to End with Season 9 Arts & Culture Ministry of Culture Organizes four day Children's Film Festival Arts & Culture Canadian PM wishes Muslims Eid-al-Adha News China Launches Largest Ever Aircraft Carrier Sports Former Al Zamalek Player Ibrahim Shika Passes away after Long Battle with Cancer Lifestyle Get to Know 2025 Eid Al Adha Prayer Times in Egypt News Prime Minister Moustafa Madbouly Inaugurates Two Indian Companies Business Fear & Greed Index Plummets to Lowest Level Ever Recorded amid Global Trade War Arts & Culture Zahi Hawass: Claims of Columns Beneath the Pyramid of Khafre Are Lies News Flights suspended at Port Sudan Airport after Drone Attacks News Shell Unveils Cost-Cutting, LNG Growth Plan Videos & Features Video: Trending Lifestyle TikToker Valeria Márquez Shot Dead during Live Stream Technology 50-Year Soviet Spacecraft 'Kosmos 482' Crashes into Indian Ocean
