Months after her
WWE
release,
Indi Hartwell
has finally made a major move and signed with a top wrestling company.
Indi Hartwell was one of the top prospects in the WWE for a long time. However, her main roster stint was nowhere close to the success she claimed in WWE NXT. This led to her release from the company in December 2024. Following that, Hartwell wrestled majorly on the independent circuit and for wrestling promotions in her home country. However, months after leaving the global juggernaut, Hartwell returned to the mainstream and signed with its partner company,
TNA Wrestling
.
Indi Hartwell became a major name to sign with TNA Wrestling
At the recent TNA Rebellion 2025 pay-per-view, Indi Hartwell was spotted sitting ringside for the show. In the final hour of the event, TNA interviewer Gia Miller came to her to make a huge announcement. She revealed that Indi Hartwell was the newest signee to the TNA Knockouts division.
The former WWE NXT Champion was overwhelmed with the applause of the fans upon the announcement. She said, "It's a dream come true for me, and I wanna say, it's officially official, Indi Hartwell has crossed the line." Indi Hartwell becoming a part of the Knockouts division could be a huge move to elevate the roster with her prime skills and acumen as an in-ring competitor.
Indi Hartwell had one of the most remarkable stints in WWE's developmental territory, NXT. She was a top fixture for the brand and even won the NXT Women's Championship at one point. This led to her call-up to the main roster, and she was assigned to the SmackDown brand. However, she was not utilized properly and given limited television time, leading to her popularity taking a huge hit.
In December 2024, Indi Hartwell was shockingly released from WWE. However, she had no hard feelings for the company and had praise for them for everything they gave her. Moreover, with WWE and TNA having a multi-year partnership agreement in place, Hartwell is back close to her old territory. With the Australian star starting a new journey as a Knockout, it will be interesting to see if she can replicate the same success she had in WWE NXT.

Tired of too many ads? go ad free now A similar attempt was made by the fans this week on SmackDown. However, they encountered the ruthless Undisputed WWE Champion, John Cena who acknowledged those chants and fired back right at them. John Cena acknowledged R-Truth chants on WWE SmackDown The final SmackDown before the Money in the Bank PLE took place at the Dignity Health Arena in Bakersfield, California. The main event segment saw the appearance of the competitors of the tag team match set for the Money in the Bank event. Logan Paul launched a sneak attack on Jey Uso and John Cena went after his heated rival Cody Rhodes. Amidst the brawl, Cena delivered an AA to Rhodes and fans began to loudly chant 'We Want Truth.' Right after, he grabbed the microphone and fired back at the audience saying, "You can't handle the truth." This was a direct shot at R-Truth's release from WWE which has not been received well by the audience. The former WWE United States Champion was last involved in a program with John Cena. It began at the WWE Backlash PLE when Truth assisted Cena in his match against Randy Orton. However, he was not rewarded well as Cena put him through a table with an AA at the post-show media conference. This set up a non-title singles match between Truth and Cena for the May edition of WWE Saturday Night's Main Event. The Unseen 17 utilized a low blow and AA to defeat R-Truth at the event. His last appearance came on the SmackDown following the SNME show after which he announced that WWE was not going to renew his contract. With Cena's remark, he would surely get a lot more heat for his heel run, while it remains to be seen if the WWE regime would listen to their audience and bring back R-Truth. Also read:

Australian media blast Spurs' sacking of Postecoglou as 'big mistake'
Australian media on Saturday blasted Tottenham's decision to sack home hero Ange Postecoglou as a "big mistake", saying he had consistently shown himself to be a winner. The Australian, one of the nation's most successful managerial exports, steered Spurs to their first European prize in 41 years and secured a place in next season's Champions League. But he also oversaw their worst domestic season since they were relegated from the top flight in 1976-77, which ultimately cost him his job. The Sydney Morning Herald branded chairman Daniel Levy's decision "cold-hearted" and one the club "will almost certainly live to regret, regardless of whether his replacement is a success or not". "There will now always be an unanswerable 'what if' about the possibilities that lay within a third season at Spurs for Postecoglou," it said. "And there appears to be no hope that whoever comes in next will get what he needs to satisfy Levy, who seems to be prioritising higher finishes on the Premier League table than the idea of actually winning things." In a column for The Australian newspaper, former Socceroo and West Ham star Robbie Slater branded Postecoglou's firing "a big mistake". "Levy has left himself in a really, really difficult position now. He's already not liked by the Spurs fans and now he's taking a massive gamble here," he wrote. "Ange had promised 'season three is always better than season two'. Good luck with that Spurs." Former Australia and Celtic boss Postecoglou was the fifth manager sacked by Levy in the past six years. Australian national broadcaster ABC was more measured in its criticism, noting that "in the cold light of day, Postecoglou was always going to be hard pressed to keep his job". But it also questioned why Spurs would get rid of a man who delivered what he said he would winning a trophy in his second season in charge. "He has shown himself to be a winner in every league he has had an extended run in, be it Scotland, Australia, Japan and now England," it said. "Sacking Postecoglou fits with Tottenham's recent reputation of throwing away promising situations and making life uncomfortable or even torturous for its supporters." mp/tym CELTIC PLC TOTTENHAM HOTSPUR

WATCH: Yashasvi Jaiswal sparks controversy after refusing to walk following umpire's decision in India A vs England Lions clash
Yashasvi Jaiswal stood his ground and refused to walk. New Delhi: India A opener Yashasvi Jaiswal expressed dissatisfaction after being dismissed for 17 runs in the second unofficial Test against England Lions. Umpire's decision to give him out leg before wicket (LBW) off a Chris Woakes delivery, despite Jaiswal's apparent amusement at the call, ended his innings early. During England Lions' match against India, Yashasvi Jaiswal was stumped in the seventh over. After winning the toss and electing to field, England's captain, James Rew, saw Jaiswal miss a full delivery, leading to his dismissal. Jaiswal initially disputed the umpire's decision before eventually leaving the field. The Barmy Army subsequently commented on the incident. Won't be the only time Woakes gets Jaiswal this — England's Barmy Army 🏴🎺 (@TheBarmyArmy) June 6, 2025 In the first unofficial Test match at Canterbury, Jaiswal scored 24 and 64 runs. His opening partnership with KL Rahul in the upcoming first Test at Headingley, Leeds (starting June 20th), is now confirmed after both players batted together in the second unofficial Test. Rahul, absent from the first match, joined the team after obtaining permission from the BCCI and demonstrated promising form with three boundaries. India's upcoming cricket series will begin with a practice match between the India A team and the senior national team. This match follows the current game and serves as preparation for the series opener. Jaiswal and Rahul will be key players for India in this series, as they are expected to fill the void left by the retired Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli. The five-Test series presents a significant challenge for both players. During India's Australian tour, Yashasvi Jaiswal's performance stood out, achieving the highest individual run total of 391, including a top score of 161. This was one of only three centuries scored by Indian batsmen on the tour. In contrast, KL Rahul is a seasoned campaigner in England, embarking on his third tour. His previous tours yielded 299 runs in 2018 (including a high score of 149) and 315 runs in 2021 (including a century at Lord's). KL Rahul's performance in the Border-Gavaskar Trophy was mixed; while he scored 276 runs, a relatively modest total compared to his potential, he outperformed many of his teammates, achieving two half-centuries. His return to the opening position generates significant expectation that he will bolster India's batting against England's less experienced pace bowlers.
