Kochi, June 20 (UNI) Apollo Tyres Ltd on Friday announced the extension of its strategic partnership with Manchester United Football Club, one of the world's most iconic football teams, for an additional three years.
This renewed collaboration underscores Apollo Tyres' commitment to excellence, innovation and shared values with Manchester United.
Over the years, the partnership has enabled both organisations to connect with millions of passionate fans worldwide, driving engaging campaigns and delivering exceptional value both on and off the pitch.
Since the inception of the partnership 12 years ago, Apollo Tyres has seen a significant boost in brand equity, reinforced by the global visibility and emotional connection associated with Manchester United's loyal fan base.
The association has elevated Apollo Tyres' reputation, increased consumer trust, and enhanced its positioning as a leading tyre manufacturer.
The announcement follows the visit of Manchester United men's first team players to Mumbai recently. Andre Onana, Diogo Dalot and Harry Maguire visited India to officially launch and
kickstart activities for the 5th season of United We Play programme and engage with fans.

Addressing officials during a review meeting at Shamshabad Municipality, the Chief Secretary highlighted the importance of efficient civic services like water supply, drainage, street lighting, and property tax collection. He stated that Hyderabad's rapid urban expansion requires local bodies to plan ahead for infrastructure and basic amenities. The review, conducted as per the directive of Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy, focused on improving grassroots governance and service delivery. Following the meeting, the Chief Secretary visited key HMDA projects, including the 85-acre Eco Park at Kothwalguda, Budvel multi-use layout with direct ORR access, and the newly constructed Neopolis trumpet interchange built to AASHTO standards. Cape Town, June 20 (UNI) South Africa's title-winning captain Temba Bavuma has been ruled out of the upcoming two-match Test series against Zimbabwe due to a left hamstring strain. Keshav Maharaj will takeover as the captain for the red-ball series starting from June 28. Bavuma sustained the injury during day three of the World Test Championship Final at Lord's while batting in the second innings. He continued to bat with pain and put on a fight with a well-made half century, stitching up a match-winning partnership with Aiden Markram. Bavuma is set to undergo further scans to assess the extent of the injury, while experienced Maharaj will lead the side, which consists of five uncapped players. The Proteas had faced Zimbabwe in a warm-up fixture, before taking on Australia for the Ultimate Test at the Home of Cricket, where they were crowned the Test champions, an ICC report said. Proteas will take on Zimbabwe in the first Test on June 28, followed by the second Test from July 6, with both matches taking place at Queens Sports Club, Bulawayo.
