SNOOKER STARS will once again bank a £147,000 bonus if they make two maximum breaks at selected events this season.
Welshman Jackson Page earned the bumper payday when he historically made two 147 clearances in the same World Championship qualifier.

Yet he ended up missing out on the Crucible as he lost 10-7 to Joe O'Connor.
The initiative will go live this campaign but the feat has to be performed twice at one of four major tournaments, either in qualifying or main-draw matches.
For it to count, it has to happen at one of the prestigious Triple Crown events – the UK Championship, the Masters or the Worlds.
Or at the second staging of the Saudi Arabia Snooker Masters in Jeddah, which starts on Friday, and has a £500,000 prize for the champion.

The 147 bonus was first introduced in 2023-24 but nobody was able to scoop that jackpot.
Up to three players could win this bonus – or should one player make six maximums, which is highly unlikely, then they would bank up to £441,000.
Page, 23, used the money to help buy a house for his family but at the time he said he would have swapped it for the chance to play at the hallowed Sheffield theatre.
The world No.34 said: 'I'll be going for it again this season.

'The feeling when I potted the last black of the second 147, I can't describe how that felt, it was an incredible buzz.
'It's life-changing money. But also the feeling of achieving something that no player had done before.
'It definitely brings extra excitement to each tournament and I'm sure a lot of players will have an eye on 147 chances in Jeddah.'

Benjamin Sesko just Man Utd's EIGHTH top earner and on under half Casemiro's wages as stars' salaries revealed

Scroll down to see what every Man Utd player is earning DEVILS' DEALS Benjamin Sesko just Man Utd's EIGHTH top earner and on under half Casemiro's wages as stars' salaries revealed BENJAMIN SESKO will join Manchester United as their EIGHTH highest-paid player, despite being bought to lead the line for the Red Devils. Sesko, 22, has arrived in Manchester for his medical ahead of completing a deal worth up to £73.8MILLION with RB Leipzig. Advertisement 6 Benjamin Sesko is set to be Man Utd's eighth highest earner when he completes his move Credit: Getty The striker will join Matheus Cunha and Bryan Mbeumo in Ruben Amorim's new-look attack for the upcoming season as the United boss tries to improve on last term's turgid campaign. It will be a coup for United, who weren't expected to be able to attract such a sought-after star following their failure to secure European football last season. And it appears they haven't just thrown money at the situation in a bid to convince Sesko to snub transfer rivals Newcastle United and head to Old Trafford. According to reports, Sesko will be earning £160,000-per-week at United - a relatively modest sum in the context of the Red Devils' cash-flowing dressing room. Advertisement READ MORE ON MAN UTD SESKO VALUE How Ratcliffe crafted 'bust by Christmas' claim to £200m spree topped by Sesko Make no mistake about it, bagging £160,000 every week is still mega money, but at Man Utd that would mean Sesko is just the eighth highest earner. However, the Slovenian's wage is thought to be in line to increase to £200,000 if Man Utd reach the Champions League, a figure that would make him the fifth top earner at the club. According to Spotrac, Casemiro currently takes home the biggest cheque at the end of the week. The 33-year-old Brazilian is earning an eye-watering £350,000-PER-WEEK for United. Man Utd open talks with Carlos Baleba | Transfers Exposed Making up the top five earners is Matthijs de Ligt, who takes home a package worth £195,000-per-week. New arrivals Mbeumo and Cunha are on £150,000-a-week and £180,000-a-week respectively after tying their future to the Theatre of Dreams this summer. Other notable salaries include Antony's £105,000 pay packet despite being surplus to requirements and Luke Shaw's £150,000-per-week wages despite his own injury issues. Advertisement Some players are earning far less than may be expected for their impact on the team, such as Kobbie Mainoo's affordable £25,000-per-week contract and Patrick Dorgu's £40,000-a-week earnings. Alejandro Garnacho's relatively small £50,000-per-week wages could be one reason that he is seen as an attractive prospect to potential buyers this summer. Garnacho has reportedly already agreed personal terms with Chelsea over a move this summer, with the winger ready to jump ship from United after a frustrating year. 6 Advertisement 6 Bryan Mbeumo and Matheus Cunha are both in the top 10 earners at United after their summer switches Credit: Getty

Dettori to show Netflix star and fellow jockey how to win at famous race meeting

Frankie Dettori is set to give a masterclass in winning at Ascot to one of the shining talents of this Saturday's Dubai Duty Free Shergar Cup. The superstar jockey bid farewell to Britain at the end of 2023 and has since been tearing up the tracks in the US, where he's quickly become one of the leading jockeys. Dettori, who participated in 12 editions of the Shergar Cup during his time in Britain, is renowned for his exceptional skill at Ascot, boasting 81 wins at Royal Ascot and earning the title of leading rider seven times. His most memorable moment came in 1996 when he won all seven races on the card, an achievement that became known as 'Frankie's Magnificent Seven'. Despite being scheduled to ride at Saratoga in New York state this Saturday, Dettori has reached out to offer American jockey Katie Davis some insider advice on how to conquer the iconic British course. Davis, 33, hails from a family steeped in racing history, with her father, sister, and brother all being former or current successful jockeys. With over 340 wins under her belt in the US and multiple stakes victories, Davis is gearing up for her first-ever British race at Ascot this Saturday. Her six rides will include Miss Information, the victor of the Kensington Palace Stakes at Royal Ascot in June, reports the Mirror. Frankie Dettori (centre) rode in 12 Shergar Cups (Image: PA) "We were both riding work for Wesley Ward when Frankie caught me off guard," Davis, who appeared in the popular Netflix documentary 'Race For The Crown', recalled. "He said, 'Don't you forget me. You gotta call me when the entries come out'. So we're going to Facetime. Trust me, I'm here to win." Davis joins the Rest Of The World squad alongside Hong Kong's Karis Teetan and Aussie Hugh Bowman, famed for his partnership with the legendary Winx, guiding her to 25 Group 1 triumphs. She enthused: "Words can't explain how much I am looking forward to it. I work well under pressure. It's more of an excitement for me. I will definitely enjoy every bit of it."
