Crew Chief of Army Black Hawk that collided with American Airlines jet killing 67 is identified
The Crew Chief on board the Black Hawk helicopter that crashed into an American Airlines regional jet has been named.
Ryan O'Hara, a father-of-one, was one of the three soldiers on board the military helicopter, according to a Facebook post by Parkview High School JROTC, which has since been removed.
'Ryan is fondly remembered as a guy who would fix things around the ROTC gym as well as a vital member of the Rifle Team. Ryan leaves behind a wife and 1-year-old son,' the school wrote in a statement, WSB-TV Atlanta reports.

They seemed to almost collide mid-air in terrifying scenes filmed at the Costa Esmeralda Airport in Porto Belo, south of São Paulo, Brazil, on Sunday. The small airfield does not have a control tower. After the footage was shared online, one local posted on X, 'Looks like a go-around by the aircraft on approach to accommodate the takeoff of the departing aircraft. 'Sequence spacing didn't quite work out.' Another person said, 'Didn't they coordinate between aircraft? 'Someone screwed up.' But another video, taken from a different angle, appeared to show that there was a much greater distance between the two aircraft. The clip, filmed by Henrique Garcia, showed that the helicopter was further ahead of the jet than first thought. Airfield administrator Tiago Neves said the two pilots were in contact throughout the takeoff, as reported by What's The Jam. Neves pointed out that the airfield does not have a control tower, and pilots carry out procedures via communication and visual contact. He said the helicopter's approach occurred outside the runway so as not to interrupt the jet's takeoff. He added, 'It is common for the tower, when there is one, or the pilots themselves, when at uncontrolled airfields, to coordinate the approach. 'That's why the helicopter goes directly to the grassy area. 'Everything was done responsibly and within normal limits.' The video surfaced just months after a Black Hawk crashed into a plane as it was landing in Washington DC. The horrific accident left all 67 people on board the two aircraft dead. This method would only set you back 65p for the bleach from Tesco, provided you have access to a pressure washer. He was inundated with questions about his method and asked for tips on how to get the best result. Scott explained how he left the bleach for one hour to soak and dry before washing it off. "What's the ratio to bleach and water please ???" asked one person to which Scott replied, "Fill a bucket and 300 ml of bleach. The key to this is brush it in and let it soak until dry." Others pointed out that using bleach outside was not great for the environment and some people asked for pet friendly alternatives. Scott said of pet friendly options: "Have done it with washing up liquid too in the past with similar results. Just to break the debris from the surface is all your doing. Bleach merely speeds up the process. Go for Fairy as long as its gets a light scrub and soaks in your good." When using bleach in the backyard, it is important to do it safely and to keep it away from plants, because bleach is toxic to all living things and will damage the soil. It should never be used in garden beds as it can make your soil too alkaline to grow plants. When bleach breaks down in your soil, it leaves behind salt, which is harmful to plants. If you have weeds between patio slabs, and choose to use bleach to kill them, it can also damage the stones. My garden was looking so old and the patio was broken - now it's a lush oasis and people can't believe how little I spent Bleach also has strong fumes and can be bad for the environment and your health.
