NCT's Mark tops iTunes Chart in 14 regions with 1st solo LP
Mark of NCT debuted atop the iTunes Top Albums Chart in 14 regions with his first solo album, "The Firstfruit."
The 13-track LP was released Monday and swept major local music charts, while the main track "1999" debuted atop Bugs' real-time single chart.
On the day of the album's release, Mark hosted a showcase in Seoul and performed songs from the LP and his first solo single 'Child,' which was dropped in 2022 through label SM Entertainment's archiving project. 'Child' topped the iTunes Top Songs Chart in 14 regions as well as music charts at home.
Meanwhile, the first episode of his radio show on Apple Music 1 will be unveiled Tuesday. The four-part exclusive show 'on your MARK' will air every Tuesday.

EXO's Kai expands solo tour to US
Kai of EXO will take his first solo tour to the US, announced label SM Entertainment on Thursday. He is planning to visit five cities in the country — Los Angeles, Dallas, Atlanta, Chicago and New York — from Aug. 28 to Sept. 6. The performer hinted at the expansion last month when he took to the stage for the label's group concert in Los Angeles, saying 'I might be able to meet you again this summer.' He kicked off tour 'Kaion' in May in Seoul and will have a show in Macao on Saturday. The remaining stops for the Asian leg of the tour are Jakarta, Singapore, Taipei, Manila, Bangkok, Hong Kong and Yokohama, Japan. H1-Key to return later this month
Girl group H1-Key is slated to bring out a new album on June 26, according to agency GLG Entertainment on Monday. The quartet will release a new set about a year after its third EP, 'Love or Hate.' The mini album made the iTunes Top Albums Chart in six regions while lead single 'Let It Burn' claimed No. 15 on Melon's Hot 100. The group debuted in 2022 and came into the spotlight with 'Rose Blossom," the main track from its 2023 EP. In January, the four members held their first fan concert in Seoul, 'Find My Key,' to celebrate their third debut anniversary after visiting Hong Kong and Thailand.

BoA marks Japan debut anniversary with single, tour
BoA will release a single in Japan on Friday in celebration of the anniversary of her debut in the country, agency SM Entertainment said. It's her first new song for Japanese fans in three years, following her compilation album 'The Greatest,' which marked the 20th year since her first Japan release. She made her debut in Japan in 2000 with 'ID: Peace B' and, in a first for a Korean singer, claimed the top spot on Oricon's Weekly Album Ranking in 2002 with her first LP, 'Listen to My Heart.' The artist co-wrote the lyrics and melodies for the single 'Young & Free,' a medium-tempo tune full of summer vibes. BoA also announced plans to tour Japan for the first time in six years. The tour, dubbed 'BoA: One's Own,' is set to kick off in Osaka on Sept. 20 and will conclude in Tokyo on Nov. 1.
