"Bringing more hope, bringing more positivity to it, and having an avenue where we're able to directly communicate with the youth," he said in a video posted to social media platform X by Cleveland.com.
The outlet also posted a longer video to YouTube, which can be found here.
Sanders suffered a surprising fall in the draft. Most analysts assumed he'd be a first-day selection — or at worst, the second round — but the quarterback fell to the fifth before the Browns grabbed him with pick 144, marking their second quarterback drafted in the class.

Patrick Mahomes' Mom Makes Personal Announcement on Wednesday

Patrick Mahomes' Mom Makes Personal Announcement on Wednesday originally appeared on Athlon Sports. These days, Patrick Mahomes has been busy preparing for the upcoming season with the Kansas City Chiefs. The two-time All-Pro quarterback is looking to bounce back after what turned out to be an ultimately disappointing campaign that ended with the Chiefs' heartbreaking loss to the Philadelphia Eagles in the Super Bowl. Advertisement Their 40-22 loss in the big game denied Mahomes and Co. a place in history. Instead of celebrating what would have been an unprecedented Super Bowl three-peat, the Chiefs had to settle for second place after being outplayed by a determined Eagles side. Cheering for her son through the highs and the lows is Randi Mahomes, who is the mother of Patrick Mahomes. The 52-year-old has been a constant figure in the Chiefs QB's life, and they have been together through the ups and the downs--even way before Patrick Mahomes established himself as one of the top quarterbacks in the NFL. It was even more difficult for her after she divorced her husband, Patrick Mahomes Sr., in 2006. Patrick Mahomes was just 11 at that time, and his mom had to work multiple jobs to support him and his siblings as a sole provider. Advertisement Randi Mahomes is now sharing her parenthood journey with others. This is through her Sports Parent Academy, which, according to its website, is a "comprehensive e-course designed to guide parents raising young athletes through every stage." On Wednesday, Randi Mahomes took to Instagram to announce that her site is now live. "Just got back from the cruise--rested and ready. And guess what's finally here? The Sports Parent Academy--early access is LIVE!" she captioned her post. Randi Mahomes offers three tiers of her e-courses. They range from $597 for the Core Course to $4,999 for the VIP/Inner Circle package. However, all the courses are currently on sale by as much as 25% for the Earlybird Pricing rate. But my goal was always three. So, we've had three. And we'll stick there for a while and see if we need to come back and get another one later on." Shedeur Sanders Praised for his Demeanor During Browns Minicamp

Shedeur Sanders Praised for his Demeanor During Browns Minicamp originally appeared on Athlon Sports. Shedeur Sanders delivered a strong performance during the second day of the Cleveland Browns' mandatory minicamp Wednesday, further fueling speculation if he could be a serious contender for the team's starting job. Advertisement The fifth-round draft pick out of Colorado was nearly flawless during seven-on-seven and 11-on-11 drills. According to ESPN Cleveland, Sanders completed 8-of-9 passes with one touchdown and didn't turn the ball over for a second straight day. Sanders' fellow quarterbacks had mixed results. Dillon Gabriel went 9-of-16 with two touchdowns. Joe Flacco completed just 3-of-7 passes with a touchdown, while Kenny Pickett was 6-of-11 with a score of his own. The Browns will likely use Flacco as a starter, but the competition among Sanders, Gabriel, Flacco and Pickett is expected to continue into training camp and possibly through the preseason. While Sanders remains an underdog to start Week 1, his sharp showing Wednesday gave the coaching staff more to think about. 'This quarterback battle feels as open as any,' Pro Football Focus analyst Thomas Valentine said. 'Draft order notwithstanding, [Sanders] is the most talented quarterback on the roster.' Advertisement Valentine predicted that Sanders could ultimately win the job, citing his elite 91.0 PFF grade from his final college season. Sanders' draft stock tumbled unexpectedly in April, sliding from a projected first-round pick to a fifth-round selection, where Cleveland took him with the 144th overall pick.
