FINANCIAL AND OPERATIONAL RESULTS
Production for the three months ended March 31, 2025 was down 15% to an average of 1,389 boe/d versus the comparative first three months of 2024 at 1,634 boe/d. The decrease was primarily due to lower natural gas production as a result of normal declines, production back-out, third party infrastructure maintenance and miscellaneous well downtime due to very cold weather in February. Lower natural gas production led to reduced natural gas liquids volumes being produced as well due to the liquids-rich nature of the Company's natural gas production. These decreases were partially offset by the acquisition in the second quarter of 2024 of low decline oil production.
Adjusted funds flow(1) for the three months ended March 31, 2025 was $0.7 million ($0.06 per basic share(3)), a decrease of 42% compared to 2024. Capital expenditures(2) for the first quarter of 2025 were $1.2 million, primarily on the construction of a compressor project in the Northville area. The Company also paid a distribution of $1.8 million to its shareholders as a return of capital in the quarter.
Clearview had a net surplus outstanding of $3.0 million at March 31, 2025, which included cash on hand of $5.3 million, a working capital deficit of $1.1 million, no borrowings from its lender and the Company's convertible debentures of $1.2 million. Clearview's net surplus decreased from $5.2 million at December 31, 2024, as a result of the distribution paid to shareholders in March 2025 and capital expenditures in the first quarter of 2025 being greater than adjusted funds flow.

OPERATIONS
Production in the first quarter of 2025 averaged 1,389 boe/d and was negatively impacted by production freeze-offs during the bitter cold temperatures experienced in February, as well as production back-out at Northville. Production downtime experienced in the first quarter of 2025 was approximately 140 boe/d.
As a result of the disposition of certain underutilized infrastructure assets in the second quarter at its 100% owned Northville property in West Central Alberta for gross proceeds of $10.8 million, the Company commenced infrastructure modifications in the third quarter of 2024 for some of its natural gas production in the area. This was the first of three projects related to a low-pressure inlet to ensure Clearview's ability to produce its natural gas at Northville, partially mitigating the previously mentioned production back-out. The Company commenced construction activities on the 100% owned low-pressure inlet compression project in the first quarter of 2025 and commissioned the unit in late April 2025. The third and final field booster compression project was commissioned in mid-May. All projects were completed on time and on budget. Following the completion of infrastructure maintenance on the Nova Gas Transmission system in April and May of 2025, impacting available capacity for the Company's Northville and Pembina properties, corporate production over the past two weeks has averaged approximately 1,600 boe/d based on field estimates.
ANNUAL GENERAL AND SPECIAL MEETING
Clearview is also pleased to announce that all resolutions presented for approval at the annual general and special meeting of shareholders held on May 28, 2025 (the "Meeting") were duly passed. Each of the matters voted upon at the Meeting was set forth in the Company's management information circular dated April 28, 2025 (the "Circular").

Clearview continues to work with its financial advisor, ATB Securities Inc., in connection with its strategic repositioning process ("Strategic Process") announced on March 25, 2025. The Company does not intend to comment further with respect to the Strategic Process unless and until it determines that additional disclosure is appropriate in the circumstances and in accordance with applicable securities laws. Capital Management Measures
Adjusted Funds Flow
Adjusted funds flow represents cash provided by operating activities before changes in operating non-cash working capital and decommissioning expenditures. The Company considers this metric as a key measure that demonstrates the ability of the Company's continuing operations to generate the cash flow necessary to maintain production at current levels and fund future growth through capital investment, to repay debt and return capital to shareholders. Management believes that this measure provides an insightful assessment of the Company's operations on a continuing basis by eliminating the actual settlements of decommissioning obligations, the timing of which is discretionary. Adjusted funds flow should not be considered as an alternative to or more meaningful than cash provided by operating activities as determined in accordance with IFRS as an indicator of the Company's performance. Clearview's determination of adjusted funds flow may not be comparable to that reported by other companies. Clearview also presents adjusted funds flow per share whereby per share amounts are calculated using weighted average shares outstanding consistent with the calculation of earnings per share. Net Debt
Clearview closely monitors its capital structure with a goal of maintaining a strong balance sheet to fund the future growth of the Company. The Company monitors net debt as part of its capital structure. The Company uses net debt (current assets, excluding financial derivatives, less current liabilities, excluding financial derivatives, less convertible debentures) to assess financial strength, capacity to finance future development and to assist in assessing the liquidity of the Company. Capital Expenditures
Capital expenditures equal additions to property, plant & equipment and additions to exploration & evaluation assets. Clearview considers capital expenditures to be a useful measure of adjusted funds flow used for capital reinvestment. The most directly comparable IFRS measure to capital expenditures is additions to property, plant & equipment and additions to exploration & evaluation assets.
Cash Finance Costs
Cash finance costs is calculated as finance costs less accretion of decommission obligations and accretion of convertible debenture discount. The most directly comparable IFRS measure to cash finance costs is finance costs. A reconciliation of cash finance costs to finance costs is set out below:

Cash Finance Costs per boe
Cash finance costs per boe is calculated by dividing cash finance costs by total production volumes sold in the period. Management considers cash finance costs per boe an important measure to evaluate the Company's cost of debt financing relative to the Company's corporate netback per boe.
Operating Netback per boe
Operating netback per boe is calculated by dividing operating netback by total production volumes sold in the period. Operating netback equals oil and natural gas sales plus processing income, less royalties, transportation expenses and operating expenses. Management considers operating netback per boe an important measure to evaluate its operational performance as it demonstrates its field level profitability relative to current commodity prices.
Corporate Netback per boe
Corporate netback per boe is calculated as operating netback less general and administrative expenses and finance costs, plus/(minus) realized gains (losses) on financial instruments, minus (plus) other costs (income), plus accretion of decommissioning obligations and convertible debentures divided by total production volumes sold in the period. Management considers corporate netback per boe an important measure to assist management and investors in assessing Clearview's overall cash profitability.

A week ago, the 39th OPEC and non-OPEC Ministerial Meeting was held via videoconference, chaired by Prince Abdulaziz bin Salman Al-Saud, Saudi Arabia's Minister of Energy. According to a press release, the group pledged to 'develop a mechanism to assess the maximum sustainable production capacity (MSC) of member countries that will be used as reference for 2027 production baselines'. Whereas the long-term nature of the undertaking elicited little response from oil markets, commodity analysts at Standard Chartered have noted that this is a highly significant development. According to StanChart, establishing MSCs is likely to involve a series of data-related tasks over the next year, a task that's unlikely to prove too difficult. Indeed, the ongoing unwinding of voluntary cuts suggests that the market has tended to overestimate sustainable capacity of some producers and has, therefore, frequently overestimated spare capacity. StanChart says setting MSC levels will improve the visibility and transparency of member countries, making it much harder for some OPEC+ members to obfuscate the degree of their non-compliance with their pledges by creating opaque data flows and vague (or shifting) definitions. This move will give more accurate production data thus reducing oil price second key OPEC+ decision came on 31 May, with Saudi Arabia, Russia, Iraq, the UAE, Kuwait, Kazakhstan, Algeria and Oman agreeing to continue the accelerated unwinding of the 2023 production cuts by 411kb/d in July 2025. July's accelerated clip was similar to that for the previous two months. Previous media reports had warned that the group might decide to unwind more than 411kb/d if the worst overproducers (Kazakhstan and Iraq) continued to defy calls to stick to their quotas. However, an Algerian government press release revealed that no such discussion took place. And now StanChart says that oil markets are likely to remain relatively well balanced for the remainder of the year--if OPEC+ sticks to its current trajectory. According to the analysts, current balances imply a global stock draw of 0.4 mb/d in the third quarter, which will be offset by a 0.4 mb/d inventory build in the final quarter of the year. Contributing to the balance will be the continuation of significant non-OPEC+ supply underperformance relative to consensus expectations in 2025, coupled with relatively robust demand growth which is expected to clock in at 1.17 mb/d in 2025 and 1.07 mb/d in 2026. Meanwhile, current low prices are likely to create some additional potential demand upside. Looking at natural gas markets, the ongoing seasonal build in EU gas inventories accelerated sharply over the past week. According to Gas Infrastructure Europe (GIE) data, EU gas inventories clocked in at 56.79 billion cubic metres (bcm) on 1 June, good for a w/w build of 3.057 bcm. This marked the first time the w/w net injection exceeded 3 bcm since August 2022, with last week's build nearly 50% above the previous week's mark and 24% higher than the five-year average. The faster-than-average build has trimmed the y/y deficit to 24.44 bcm, lower than the 30.07 bcm deficit reached in mid-April. Natural gas prices have failed to sustain the momentum they built in the first three weeks of May: Dutch Title Transfer Facility (TTF) gas for July delivery settled at EUR 35.015 per megawatt hour (MWh) on 2 June, good for a w/w fall of EUR 2.354/MWh. Europe's gas prices have underperformed other energy prices in the year-to-date, by a significant margin. The latest Energy Information Administration (EIA) weekly release was bullish, with the deficit in combined crude oil and oil product inventories relative to the five-year average widening by 7.04 mb w/w to 47.76 mb--the largest since December 2022. Crude oil inventories fell 2.8 mb w/w to 440.36 mb, with inventories now 30.22mb below the five-year average. Meanwhile, U.S. crude exports fell 794 kb/d w/w, tempered by a counter-seasonal 162 kb/d fall in crude oil refinery runs as well as a 262 kb/d increase in imports. However, demand indicators for the month of May were weak, with gasoline demand down 4.8% y/y, jet fuel demand down 0.4% and distillate demand down 1.4%. The U.S. oil rig count declined by four w/w to a 42-month low of 461, marking a fifth consecutive weekly decline according to the latest Baker-Hughes survey. The Permian Basin rig count fell by one to a 42-month low of 278; the Midland Basin rig count fell by one to 98, Delaware Basin activity remained unchanged at 157 rigs, and other Permian drilling was unchanged at 23 rigs. By Kantaro Komiya TOKYO (Reuters) - Japanese startup ispace aims to become the first non-U.S. company to achieve a controlled moon landing as it prepares for the touchdown of its second uncrewed spacecraft on Friday, two years after its inaugural mission ended in failure. Tokyo-based ispace hopes to join U.S. firms Intuitive Machines and Firefly Aerospace, which have accomplished commercial landings since last year amid an intensifying global race for the moon that includes state-run missions from China and India. The mission also highlights broad public- and private-sector expectations from Japan, which remains committed to lunar exploration as part of NASA's Artemis moon program, despite mounting uncertainty about its future as President Donald Trump reshapes U.S. space policies. "A moon landing is not a dream but it has become a reality," ispace CEO Takeshi Hakamada has said. The company's first lunar lander in April 2023 crashed onto the moon's surface due to a software issue that incorrectly assessed its altitude during descent over precipitous terrain. Its second lander, named Resilience, in January shared a SpaceX rocket launch with Firefly's Blue Ghost lander. Blue Ghost took a faster trajectory to the moon and touched down successfully in March. Currently circling about 100 km (62 miles) above the lunar surface, Resilience carries a rover built by ispace's Luxembourg subsidiary and payloads worth a total of $16 million, including scientific instruments from Japanese firms and a Taiwanese university. After Friday's landing on Mare Frigoris, a lunar sea relatively close to the moon's north pole, scheduled for 4:17 a.m. Japan time (1917 GMT, Thursday), the 2.3-metre-high lander and the microwave-sized rover are tasked to capture images of regolith, the moon's fine-grained surface material. If successful, ispace said it will transfer the ownership of the collected material to NASA to fulfil what it says would be the world's first commercial transaction of lunar resources. According to a 2020 NASA statement, ispace's Japan and Luxembourg units would each receive $5,000 under this arrangement. NASA was not immediately able to comment on the impact of the Trump administration's proposed budget reductions on the contract. An ispace spokesperson declined to comment. JAPAN'S LUNAR ENTHUSIASM The company envisions establishing a lunar colony of 1,000 inhabitants by the 2040s, tapping the moon's water resources. It plans seven more missions in the U.S. and Japan through 2029, including a NASA-sponsored one as part of the Artemis program, to capitalize on increasing demands for lunar transportation. About a dozen corporate partners have provided support for ispace missions, including titanium materials from Citizen Watch and design expertise from automaker Suzuki. In Japan, a wide range of businesses from construction firms to carmakers engage in lunar exploration research, and the breadth of industrial interest in the moon may surpass that in the United States, said Atsushi Uchida, Research Director at Mitsubishi Research Institute. The government has been keen to promote Japan's roles in the Artemis program, signing an agreement with NASA last year to include two Japanese astronauts and a Toyota-built rover in forthcoming missions to the lunar surface. Exploration of the moon and Mars is one of the key objectives of Japan's newly-established multibillion-dollar space venture fund. "Having ispace, a domestic transportation option, is a huge advantage for Japanese businesses and universities that foray into lunar exploration using government funds," said Ritsumeikan University professor Kazuto Saiki, who participated in Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency's (JAXA) SLIM mission that achieved Japan's first lunar landing last year. JAXA President Hiroshi Yamakawa said last month that he was rooting for ispace's re-attempt because their "success will attract attention to the whole Japanese space industry." Investors are keen. Trade Pressures Prompt IATA to Lower 2025 Air Cargo Demand Forecast

Air cargo demand for 2025 is tapering off further than initially forecast as the Trump administration's tariffs and the removal of the de minimis provision for Chinese goods entering the U.S. take their toll on trade. According to the International Air Transport Association (IATA), total demand will inch up just 0.7 percent this year to 275.7 billion cargo tonne-kilometers (CTKs), down from the 6 percent CTK growth first projected in December. In total, volumes carried via air are now projected to reach 68.6 million metric tons, up 0.5 percent from 2024, instead of the previously calculated 72.5 million metric tons. DHL has felt the lessening demand thus far to kick off 2025. Its DHL Express division saw time-definite international parcel volumes sink 7.1 percent to 975,000 items per day in the first quarter. The decline came as the company ended some third-party air cargo partnerships in the early months to cut excess capacity, including one joint venture with Atlas Air. The logistics giant has sought to focus more on profitability amid the dampened demand, and unveiled Monday it is raising costs to ship certain private customer parcels and small packages via air out of Germany. The 'moderate' price hikes will begin July 1, and will vary depending on the destination country. For example, sending an 'extra-small' package to North and South America will soon cost 16 euros ($18.30), rather than the current 12 euros ($13.70). A medium-sized package sent to the same region would jump to 22.49 euros ($25.70) from 18.49 euros ($21.15). 'Reasons for the necessary price adjustments starting in July include significantly increased labor, transportation, and delivery costs,' said DHL in a statement. 'Additionally, there are higher requirements and thus a greater effort for handling international shipments transported by air.' Announced alongside the price changes, DHL is expanding the use of the mobile parcel label, which allows customers to ship parcels and small packages to non-E.U. countries without the need to print shipping labels. As DHL aims to simplify some experiences, the air cargo demand equation remains impacted mostly by factors well out of carriers' control. In April, air cargo had its highest demand numbers for the year at 5.8 percent CTK growth, IATA said, surpassing the first quarter's 2.4 percent annual increase. But that April rush came in largely due to the May 2 closure of the de minimis provision as businesses sought to avoid the extra import tax now charged on parcels worth more than $800. According to the IATA, the de minimis trade accounts for 7 percent of Asian CTKs and nearly 3 percent of global air cargo traffic. With that in mind, demand growth is likely to decelerate further going forward, said the report. 'This trade is likely to drop significantly, which will have a considerable impact on freight rates to the U.S. from China,' the updated outlook report read. 'However, Chinese e-commerce brands may shift their focus from the U.S. to other markets, or even ship their products from other countries.' For 2025, the association also expects a decline in air cargo yields of 5.2 percent from last year due to the reduction in anticipated traffic and lower jet fuel prices—a far cry from the previous outlook that rates would be stable year over year. As air freight rates continue their descent, the easing of ocean freight rates throughout 2025 compared to the year prior has played a role in keeping more cargo out at sea. The Red Sea crisis effectively gave air freight a rare comparative pricing advantage, according to the IATA, as average container prices spiked to nearly $6,000 last summer due to the mass rerouting of vessels around southern Africa's Cape of Good Hope. Although ocean carriers have still mostly been sailing around Africa, ocean spot freight rates are now $2,508 on average, according to Drewry's World Container Index, mirroring rates seen at the start of the crisis. With ocean rates back to a more manageable level in recent months, air freight costs look less attractive for shippers in comparison, albeit less expensive than 2024. Despite the industrywide headwinds, IATA's director general Willie Walsh acknowledged 'it will still be a better year for airlines than 2024,' although slightly below previous projections. 'We anticipate airlines flying more people and more cargo in 2025 than they did in 2024, even if previous demand projections have been dented by trade tensions and falls in consumer confidence,' Walsh said in a statement. 'The result is an improvement of net margins from 3.4 percent in 2024 to 3.7 percent in 2025. That's still about half the average profitability across all industries. But considering the headwinds, it's a strong result that demonstrates the resilience that airlines have worked hard to fortify.'
