Ree Drummond's Daughter Paige Drummond Details Honeymoon Nightmare After Oklahoma Wedding

Yahoo22-05-2025
Ree Drummond's daughter Paige Drummond just walked down the aisle with the love of her life, but the first 48 hours of marriage came with some challenges.
Paige, 25, wed David Andersen on her family's Oklahoma ranch on May 17. The following day, the pair drove to Dallas where they prepared to jet off on their honeymoon in Costa Rica. A blog post shared on The Pioneer Woman website revealed that things got a bit complicated ahead of the honeymoon.
'While packing, David discovered that his passport was nowhere in sight. (Every traveler's nightmare!) 'We were supposed to leave on Monday morning, but David's passport actually dropped off the face of the earth,' Paige explains,' the post said, referencing Paige's Instagram Stories. 'Even though he had taken steps to put it in a specific place, in all the wedding excitement it became irretrievably misplaced (or lost!) Alas, they couldn't leave on their scheduled Monday flight, which had been booked for months.'
On Monday, May 19, David got an emergency passport from an office in Dallas. Though they were a day late, they were able to jet off to their honeymoon on Tuesday, May 20. Paige snapped a photo of her and David's hands holding their passports, sharing it in her Instagram Stories.
Once the couple reached their destination, Paige snapped a photo with her hubby in her Instagram Stories, writing, 'Made it.'
With the passport chaos aside, it appears Paige and David's wedding day went off without a hitch. The Drummond family gathered on the farm to see Ree's second-eldest daughter with husband Ladd Drummond tie the knot. Paige and David felt it was the perfect place to exchange their vows.
'I couldn't see it happening anywhere else,' Paige said. 'It's truly one of the prettiest places, and it's so close to my heart.'
After doing some long-distance dating during their relationship, David revealed what he's most excited for now that they're married. 'I'm looking forward to not having to say goodbye to her,' he said.
Both their ceremony and reception were magical! Paige and Ree teamed up with a wedding planner to brainstorm exactly how they wanted the wedding day to look.
'It's nice to have somebody there who has similar taste,' Paige, who had 12 bridesmaids by her side on the big day, said.
'We literally got the wedding date figured out the day after I got engaged, which is hilarious,' she said about her and her mother's excitement for the big day.
One of the things Paige and David decided was to forgo doing a first look. Instead, the first time the groom saw the bride in her dress was when she walked down the aisle.
'I wanted to have that big moment of seeing him and him seeing me when I walked down the aisle,' Paige explained. 'I wanted it to be really special and emotional."
The mother of the bride shared so many gorgeous snapshots from the big day on Instagram and her Pioneer Woman website, showing off Paige dancing with her dad, the newlyweds snacking on food at the reception, Paige embracing niece Sofia and more special moments.
'The best day of my life. I love you, husband!!!' Paige gushed on Instagram after the wedding.

Georgina Rodríguez's massive engagement ring from Cristiano Ronaldo is breaking the internet, with the rock estimated to be worth 7 figures

The bride-to-be posted the photo of the impressive diamond ring that broke the internet. Portuguese soccer star Cristiano Ronaldo and Argentine model Georgina Rodríguez announced their engagement on Monday after eight years of dating. The bride-to-be shared the momentous news in an Instagram post, with a photo of her massive sparkler of an engagement ring and the caption, written in Spanish: 'Yes, I do. In this and in all my lives.' The post has since broken the internet, with over 11.3 million likes as of Tuesday morning. The official details of Rodríguez's bling, like the number of carats and how much it's worth, have yet to be revealed by the power couple and their unknown jeweler, but that hasn't stopped jewelry experts from weighing in. Here's what we know so far about the 'four C's' (cut, clarity, color and carat) of the impressive diamond ring: What kind of cut is the diamond? Abdulla BelJafla, creative director of Gafla, who shared his insight with Vogue Arabia, said the main diamond in the center is an oval-cut, which maximizes its brilliance. 'A perfectly proportioned oval (with a 1.30–1.50 length-to-width ratio) offers symmetry on the hand,' he told the magazine. 'While many ovals exhibit the subtle 'bow-tie effect,' this piece appears to have exceptional light dispersion, minimizing it entirely.' How many estimated carats are there? Rodríguez's oval-cut diamond ring is approximately 37 carats in total, according to jewelry experts. The center oval stone weighs about 35 carats, Tobias Kormind, the managing director of 77 Diamonds in London, told People. He believes the center stone is flanked by oval stones on the sides, about one carat each, set in platinum. BelJafla also assessed the stunner to be about 37 carats total and estimated the center diamond to be "between 22 and 30 carats," he told Vogue Arabia. Let's get down to brass tacks. How much do we think this ring is worth? It's estimated to be worth seven figures. 'If the diamond is natural and of exceptional quality in the D-F color range with flawless or near-flawless clarity, its value could easily exceed around $2 million," Laura Taylor, engagement ring specialist at Lorel Diamonds, told People. Meanwhile, Kormind estimates that Rodríguez is carrying around a $5 million ring on her finger. 'Experts value the ring between U.S. $4 million and U.S. $5 million,' BelJafla told Vogue Arabia, 'given the size, flawless clarity, and D color of the stones. … A ring like this is quite rare if it's a natural diamond.' What else do we know about the engaged couple? Ronaldo, 40, and Rodríguez, 31, have been together for eight years. They have a total of four children together: twins Eva Maria and Mateo, 8 (born via surrogacy); daughter Alana, 7; and daughter Bella, 3. Ronaldo also has a 15-year-old son, Cristiano Jr., from a previous relationship. The couple previously announced the death of Bella's twin brother, Ángel, in April 2022. Solve the daily Crossword

Agentic AI in three moves: Connect, co-operate, concierge

A spring storm wipes out the last Thursday flight from Dallas. One in-app request later, an invisible digital assistant secures a nearby hotel, drops a meal voucher into your wallet, reroutes your suitcase, updates tomorrow's Teams meeting, and (because it senses weariness in your voice) orders an Uber Black. The experience feels less like self-service and more like having a well-briefed assistant orchestrating every detail. The result is not merely a rescued itinerary, but a deeper affinity with the very airline that just disrupted your plans. That feeling is the promise of agentic AI: software that breaks a goal into tasks, taps outside systems, remembers context across channels, and hands control back to a person whenever judgment matters. The timing is right. IBM research shows 76% of executives are piloting autonomous agents and 86% expect them to reshape workflows by 2027. Customers are more impatient than ever; 17% quit after one bad interaction, 59% after a few, and 70% expect the next employee or interface to know their context without being told. Agentic AI can meet that bar, but only if we build in the right order. Think of it as a three-stage path that begins with connecting, moves into the cooperate stage, and ends with the promise land of concierge. Here's how it can work: 1. CONNECT: GIVE EVERY CHANNEL THE SAME MEMORY First comes plumbing. Funnel every click, order, chat, and loyalty swipe into a lightweight feature store, a living memory capsule any touchpoint can open. This capsule powers an AI copilot beside frontline staff. The copilot drafts answers, suggests next moves, and flags land mines such as a refund that would void a bundle discount before a rep hits send. Customer Benefit: Instant, consistent replies in one brand voice, regardless of whether the message arrives by SMS, email, or IVR. Business Benefit: Average handle time drops an estimated 25% and brittle integrations surface early, long before full autonomy. Design work changes focus. Instead of polishing pixels, teams choreograph conversations: tone curves, escalation triggers, and data contracts replace static mock-ups. Brand language is encoded once, then reused everywhere. 2. CO-OPERATE: LET A SUPERVISED AGENT OWN HIGH-VOLUME TASKS With the pipes proven, elevate one high-volume journey—where is my order, a password reset, an in-store return—to a supervised agent that still knows when to wave in a human. Because it reads from the same memory capsule, the agent can finish a sizing chat that began on TikTok and push a shipping update straight to Apple Wallet without losing context. If confidence drops, the full thread with rationale lands on an agent's screen. Customer Benefit: Friction disappears. When a shoe size is gone online, the system checks nearby stores and offers same-day pickup. At the airport, kiosks spot a risky connection and print a later boarding pass before panic sets in. Business Benefit: Problems are solved on first contact and revenue pops fast; one fashion pilot lifted buy-online-pick-up-in-store conversions by 22% when agents brokered inventory in real time. Designers double down on micro interactions, surfacing one-tap options and keeping language tight. Strategy teams track completion and sentiment, not cost alone, to keep the experience human. 3. CONCIERGE: ORCHESTRATE SPECIALISTS EVERYWHERE The final move adds an orchestrator that spawns specialist sub-agents for billing, loyalty, inventory, payments, and more, all sharing state. Open-source stacks such as LangGraph give engineers fine-grained control without vendor lock-in. In ecommerce, the effect is dramatic: A shopping companion can search, compare, and check out inside the brand app, while new payment rails let AI complete a purchase securely on any site. Customer Benefit: The brand seems to anticipate needs. Wish lists refresh when sizes restock, pantry staples reorder themselves within a spending cap, and a smart mirror recalls everything tried at home. An edit log and a one-tap undo keep the human in charge. Business Benefit: Service savings persist, but growth becomes the headline. Cart abandonment falls as agents juggle price, stock, and rewards in milliseconds. Every interaction pushes live insight back into product, pricing, and media models. Design, tech, and strategy converge around explainability and seamless human hand-offs; a live expert can join the chat without forcing the shopper to start over. GUARDRAILS THAT MAKE IT SAFE AND CREDIBLE Autonomy delights only when it is accountable. Validate with pre-launch testing of generated copy against brand-voice guidelines. Keep a visible skills registry so compliance teams know which agent touches which data. Run security and privacy drills at least quarterly. These checkpoints matter as much to experience quality as typography or color. THE PAYOFF: LESS FRICTION, MORE GROWTH Execute connect, co-operate, and concierge in sequence, and customers notice what is missing: repeated forms, channel seams, surprise fees, awkward transfers. A purchase becomes a sentence such as, 'Find me a vegan gift under fifty dollars, deliver Tuesday, use points first,' and service stays invisible until empathy is needed, at which point a person appears fully briefed. For the organization, efficiency shows up first, growth second. Support costs drop, conversion climbs, and the feature store becomes a feedback loop that sharpens product road maps and media buys. Strategists rank journeys by value and complexity, technologists instrument every agent step, and designers craft feelings of continuity, anticipation, and control. Brands that master connect, co-operate, concierge will own both the moments that suit automation and the critical times when a human must lead. Those that wait may find their next customer already served instantly by someone else's digital assistant.

I'm a Travel Advisor Specializing in Trips to Nicaragua and Panama—Here Are My Favorite Itineraries

As a travel advisor with years of experience planning trips to Central America, it's my philosophy to embrace contrast and similarity between countries—whether that's culturally, geographically, or both. For example, one of my favorite journeys begins in Panama, transitions into Costa Rica's lush wilderness, and then shifts into the colonial architecture of Nicaragua. Another go-to itinerary kicks off with a visit to the ancient sites and luxury resorts of Belize before an exploration of the beautiful nature and towns of Guatemala. Here's an in-depth look at these two personal favorite routes. Volcan Baru in Chiriqui, Panama. Begin your trip in Panama City. Walk through the historic district of Casco Antiguo and explore the city's diverse culinary scene. Then head to Valle de Anton, a small, beautiful village inside of a volcanic crater before continuing northwest to the scenic highlands of Boquete where you'll find cloud forests, family-run coffee farms, and views of Volcan Baru. There are also plentiful ocean experiences on both sides of the country, whether you're interested in luxury resorts or amazing marine nature found at destinations like Coiba Island. Nicoya Peninsula, Costa Rica. Cross into Costa Rica overland at Paso Canoas or via a short regional flight. Stay at a secluded eco-lodge in the Osa Peninsula, where howler monkeys and scarlet macaws function as your wake-up call. Then head further north into the misty trails of Monteverde, where you can spot hummingbirds, sip hot chocolate, and experience local gastronomy in a tree-top dining garden. Finally, visit the Nicoya Peninsula, one of only five 'Blues Zones' in the world, where people are believed to live longer than the global average. Cross into Nicaragua through the Peñas Blancas border and explore the Spanish colonial architecture of Granada. After this, head to Lake Nicaragua, the largest freshwater lake in Central America, for kayaking, boating, and paddle boarding around a massive body of water that's rich in biodiversity. If you're interested in more adventure, hike up Mombacho Volcano for panoramic views and jungle trails. Belize is known for its beautiful islands, but its mainland—with its Mayan ruins, archaeological sites like Caracol and Xunantunich, and underground caves at Actun Tunichil Muknal—is an underrated destination for historical adventures. Visit the indigenous Garifuna people to learn about their traditional cooking and famous drumming. And, of course, if you're looking for pure relaxation, Belize has plenty of barefoot luxury resorts and private island stays. Tikal National Park in Belize it only takes a short flight or a scenic ground transfer to reach the UNESCO world heritage site of Tikal in Guatemala. The majestic Lake Atitlán is surrounded by volcanoes, and the villages nestled around the lake each have their own personality. In San Juan La Laguna, meet the weavers keeping old traditions alive. Then spend a night or two in Antigua, walking the cobblestone streets and shopping for beautiful textiles and handmade jewelry and accessories.
