Trump Slams Charlamagne Tha God as ‘Racist Sleazebag' For Fox News Interview Predicting a ‘Political Coup' In the Republican Party
'The very wonderful and talented Lara Trump, whose show is a big ratings success, put racist sleazebag Charlamagne 'The God' on her show,' Trump wrote. '(Why is he allowed to use the word 'GOD' when describing himself? Can anyone imagine the uproar there would be if I used that nickname?)'

He continued, 'He's a Low IQ individual, has no idea what words are coming out of his mouth, and knows nothing about me or what I have done.'
The post was followed by a response from Charlamagne on Instagram Sunday. Along with a photo of Trump's post, he also shared an excerpt from 'The Daily Show' along with a clip of his 'My View' appearance.
'President Trump was better off going after Urkel tho because he is really Scraping The Bottom of The Black Barrel coming at me,' he wrote. 'You can't go from MLK JR, President Obama, Oprah, Beyonce, to a sleezebag name Lenard.' (Charlamagne's real name is Lenard McKelvey).
During his interview on 'My View,' Charlamagne said that 'traditional conservatives are going to take the Republican Party back' from the MAGA base, with Trump's alleged connection to convicted sex offender Epstein as their way in.
'I think there's a political coup going on right now in the Republican Party that people aren't paying attention to,' he said. 'I think this Epstein thing is going to be a way for traditional conservatives to take their party back, I really do.'
He added, 'They know this is the issue that has gotten the base riled up. The MAGA base isn't letting this issue go, and for the first time, they know they can probably take their party back and not piss off the MAGA base.'

"What The F**ck": People Are Losing Their Minds Over This Really, Really Bizarre AI Interview With A Dead Teenager From The Parkland Shooting
Former CNN host Jim Acosta faced backlash on Monday after sharing what he called a 'one-of-a-kind interview' with an AI version of Parkland school shooting victim Joaquin Oliver, a bot created by his parents to honor their son on what would have been his 25th birthday. The interview — shared to Acosta's SubStack page — depicts Oliver, one of 17 who died in the 2018 massacre, remarking on the cause of death and stressing why it's 'important' to talk about gun violence in schools. The AI — when asked for its 'solution' to gun violence — emphasized a need for a mix of stronger gun-control laws, mental health support and community engagement. Related: The bot of Oliver proceeded to speak in a noticeably higher tone before discussing the late teen's interests in the Miami Heat and Star Wars. Acosta — who declared that the technology left him 'speechless' — called the conversation 'so insightful,' telling the late teen's father, Manuel Oliver, that it felt like the first time he really got to know his son. 'I felt like I was communicating with him, which is just so remarkable,' Acosta said. 'People say, 'Well, AI, you know, it could be bad, it could cause all these destructive things.' This is an example of how it might actually do some good, it might help some people who have suffered tremendous losses like your family have a way to hold on to who this person was, which I think is a beautiful thing.' @JimAcosta Related: Manuel Oliver and his wife, Patricia Oliver — co-founders of the gun-control advocacy group Change the Ref — have been involved in other projects that demand action against gun violence, including a school shooting video game, a play and a site that uses AI to recreate victims' voices for calls to Congress. Manuel Oliver — in a video shared to X, formerly Twitter — acknowledged that the AI was his and his wife's idea, adding that Acosta shouldn't be blamed for 'what he was able to do' in the 'interview.' 'If the problem that you have is with the AI, then you have the wrong problem,' he said. 'The real problem is that my son was shot eight years ago. So if you believe that that is not the problem, you are part of the problem.' Related: While Acosta restricted those who could reply to his posts on X, it wasn't the same case on his BlueSky account, where a number of critics were stunned by the AI move. 'Hey Jim. Quick question. What the fuck is wrong with you,' replied one user. And, naturally, users on X had a lot to say regardless. Check out what users said on Bluesky and X below. See it: NFL legend Tom Brady delivers heartfelt message to Cam Ward
Tennessee Titans rookie quarterback Cam Ward was one of several high-profile rookies who were recently on the receiving end of a gift from Fanatics via NFL legends, coupled with an emotional and heartfelt message to each player. Future Hall of Famer Tom Brady personally greeted Ward into the league by telling him, 'You're going to grow in ways you couldn't even imagine, and I'm going to be watching, and I'm going to be pulling for you.' The message from Brady hit home, with Ward responding, 'That's crazy, for the greatest player of all time to send me a video like that.' As the video closed, Ward ended with a message that all Titans fans hope becomes reality by saying, 'I'm ready for the challenge.' After receiving the video, Ward was gifted a signed and personalized jersey from Brady. Ward wasn't the only player associated with the Titans to be involved with this promotion from Fanatics. Former Titans' great Eddie George welcomed New York Giants running back Cam Skattebo with a personal message and signed jersey. He told Skattebo, "Begin this journey with the end in mind and you'll be just fine, my man." What to Watch Ahead of Disney Q3 Earnings
Disney (NYSE:DIS) reports third-quarter results for fiscal 2025 before the market opens on August 6. Consensus estimates call for adjusted EPS of approximately $1.45 on revenue of $23.7 billion, implying modest 2% top-line growth YoY. The stock is up 4% year-to-date and trades roughly 7% below its 52-week high of $124.70. Investor attention will focus on direct-to-consumer (DTC) margins and subscriber momentum. In Q2, Disney's DTC segment generated $336 million in operating income, up from $47 million a year earlier and added 1.4 million Disney+ subscribers. Subscriber stability and continued margin expansion will be key focus areas, as investors assess whether Disney's cost discipline is translating into lasting DTC profitability. The Experiences segment (theme parks and cruises) continues to perform well. Q2 experiences operating income rose 8% YoY to $2.5 billion, with investors assessing whether gating capacity or rising costs could pressure margins in Q3. Investors may also listen for commentary on recent releases such as Snow White and Fantastic Four, as sentiment around Disney's film strategy has been mixed and studio margins remain under pressure. With forward guidance unchanged ($5.75 adjusted EPS full year) and streaming margins expected to contribute more in H2, Disney's Q3 commentary will be critical. Management will need to demonstrate both streaming discipline and theme park profitability to support the current valuation. This article first appeared on GuruFocus.
