TS Madison Explains Why She Doesn't Date Gay Men
In a recent appearance on The NeNe Leakes Show , TS Madison sat down with Real Housewives of Atlanta alum NeNe Leakes for a conversation that quickly turned into a lesson on gender identity, attraction, and how society still struggles to make sense of it all. What started as a casual chat became a deep and sometimes uncomfortable dialogue about who trans women are—and who is attracted to them.

TS Madison, a well-known media personality and advocate, tried to set the record straight when Leakes questioned the sexuality of men who are romantically or sexually involved with transgender women. 'I don't date gay men,' Madison explained, making a clear distinction that many often miss: that a man being attracted to a transgender woman doesn't mean he's gay.
Leakes pushed back, saying it didn't make sense to her. 'If he sleeping with you and sleeping with a woman, he something,' she said, suggesting bisexuality as a possibility. Madison calmly responded that a man who is attracted to her isn't necessarily gay or bi—he may simply be a man who is attracted to women, including trans women.

The conversation got even more tense when Leakes said she wouldn't want to date a man who had previously been with a trans woman. 'I don't want to run into them. I don't want to date them,' she said, adding that she would feel deceived by a man who didn't disclose that history.
Madison tried to gently challenge that thinking, pointing out that many men—regardless of how they identify—might have past relationships or experiences that women will never know about. 'There's a difference between being men and being male,' Madison said, trying to separate biological sex from gender identity.

Despite the awkwardness, Madison handled the exchange with grace, not defensiveness. Online, she was praised for staying calm and respectful throughout what many saw as a difficult and even offensive conversation. Critics were quick to call out Leakes for her comments, with some saying the interview revealed a harmful level of ignorance.
'NeNe has absolutely lost me after that interview,' one person wrote. Others pointed out the irony of her long-standing 'gay icon' status while expressing such dismissive views about trans women and those who love them.

Following the episode, Madison posted on Instagram to thank Leakes for the opportunity to have a tough but important conversation. She reiterated a point that seemed to get lost in the moment: 'Men who identify as gay do not date or desire trans women. Trans women are desirable to men who identify as straight as well.'
She also emphasized a critical truth—gender identity and sexual orientation are not the same thing, and understanding that difference is crucial to having respectful and inclusive conversations.

This footage shows Gooding shirtless and doing push-ups, which Cam'Ron gleefully shared. And despite Gooding showing some flair on the musical tip, the footage Cam shared on his Instagram page involving the stunt was less than flattering. It doesn't appear that Omar Gooding is all that upset about being exposed and pranked, as Cam'Ron believes. Gooding responded with an Instagram video himself, saying he has a song in the tuck that will expose the Harlem rapper's dirty laundry and warns him to keep it civil. Why Eleven Madison Park is putting meat back on the menu—even though many people aren't happy about it
New York's iconic Eleven Madison Park, the world's only three Michelin-starred vegan restaurant, announced on Wednesday it is putting meat back on the menu after achieving what most thought was impossible—snagging the first and only coveted three-star Michelin rating for its entirely plant-based haute cuisine in 2022. (That's something not even the food-loving countries of France and Spain have been able to achieve.) The restaurant, which was originally opened in 1998 by famed restaurateur Danny Meyer, was purchased by chef Daniel Humm and his partner Will Guidara in 2011. It first earned three Michelin stars in 2012 with a meat-based menu, and retained its Michelin rating in 2022 after it went fully plant-based. 'Over the last five years . . . we've also been intently listening to our guests' feedback. It became clear that while we had built something meaningful, we had also unintentionally kept people out,' chef Daniel Humm said in statement on the restaurant's website. 'This is the opposite of what we believe hospitality to be. The all-or-nothing approach was necessary to develop our expertise, but that too, comes with its own limitations. As a chef I want to continue to open paths, not close them.' Fast Company has reached out to Eleven Madison Park for further comment. Starting October 14, Humm said Eleven Madison Park will integrate 'our new language into a menu that embraces choice,' both offering the fully plant-based menu, but also adding certain animal product dishes, including 'fish, meat, and yes, our honey-lavender-glazed duck.' Humm told The New York Times the decision was motivated by both financial and hospitality concerns. Many people have criticized the move to bring back meat, saying a full vegan menu is widely accessible and doesn't exclude others. On the restaurant's Facebook page, more than 350 people have commented, many registering their dismay. Those comments range from 'you can still reverse this decision' and 'everyone can eat vegan food,' to 'gross. Just like your morel butter. Now vegans will not feel welcome at the table. Plenty of other fabulous restaurants in NYC though. Let's all support those.' However, the plant-based menu will continue to be at the foundation of the restaurant, with plant-based options available for every course, according to the restaurant's website. The tasting menus will be the same price regardless of one's selection (the full tasting menu, with eight to nine courses, runs $365 per person). Both the cocktail menu and the pastry program will remain entirely plant-based.
