TS Madison Explains Why She Doesn't Date Gay Men

In a recent appearance on The NeNe Leakes Show , TS Madison sat down with Real Housewives of Atlanta alum NeNe Leakes for a conversation that quickly turned into a lesson on gender identity, attraction, and how society still struggles to make sense of it all. What started as a casual chat became a deep and sometimes uncomfortable dialogue about who trans women are—and who is attracted to them.

TS Madison, a well-known media personality and advocate, tried to set the record straight when Leakes questioned the sexuality of men who are romantically or sexually involved with transgender women. 'I don't date gay men,' Madison explained, making a clear distinction that many often miss: that a man being attracted to a transgender woman doesn't mean he's gay.
Leakes pushed back, saying it didn't make sense to her. 'If he sleeping with you and sleeping with a woman, he something,' she said, suggesting bisexuality as a possibility. Madison calmly responded that a man who is attracted to her isn't necessarily gay or bi—he may simply be a man who is attracted to women, including trans women.

The conversation got even more tense when Leakes said she wouldn't want to date a man who had previously been with a trans woman. 'I don't want to run into them. I don't want to date them,' she said, adding that she would feel deceived by a man who didn't disclose that history.
Madison tried to gently challenge that thinking, pointing out that many men—regardless of how they identify—might have past relationships or experiences that women will never know about. 'There's a difference between being men and being male,' Madison said, trying to separate biological sex from gender identity.

Despite the awkwardness, Madison handled the exchange with grace, not defensiveness. Online, she was praised for staying calm and respectful throughout what many saw as a difficult and even offensive conversation. Critics were quick to call out Leakes for her comments, with some saying the interview revealed a harmful level of ignorance.
'NeNe has absolutely lost me after that interview,' one person wrote. Others pointed out the irony of her long-standing 'gay icon' status while expressing such dismissive views about trans women and those who love them.

Following the episode, Madison posted on Instagram to thank Leakes for the opportunity to have a tough but important conversation. She reiterated a point that seemed to get lost in the moment: 'Men who identify as gay do not date or desire trans women. Trans women are desirable to men who identify as straight as well.'
She also emphasized a critical truth—gender identity and sexual orientation are not the same thing, and understanding that difference is crucial to having respectful and inclusive conversations.

NYT ‘Strands' Hints For Saturday, June 14: Spangram And Answers For Today's Game
Today's NYT Strands hints and answers. getty Looking for Friday's Strands hints, spangram and answers? You can find them here: Hey, folks! Today's NYT Strands hints, spangram and answers for Saturday, June 14 are coming right up. The New York Times' Strands puzzle is a play on the classic word search. It's available on the NYT website and in the NYT Games app alongside the likes of Wordle and Connections (which we also cover in daily guides at Forbes Gaming). There's a new game of Strands to play every day. The game will present you with a six by eight grid of letters. The aim is to find a group of words that have something in common, and you'll get a clue as to what that theme is. When you find a theme word, it will remain highlighted in blue. You'll also need to find a special word called a spangram. This tells you what the words have in common. The spangram links at least two sides of the board, but it may not start or end there. While the theme words will not be a proper name, the spangram can be a proper name. When you find the spangram, it will remain highlighted in yellow. Every letter is used once in one of the theme words and spangram. You can connect letters vertically, horizontally and diagonally, and it's possible to switch directions in the middle of a word. If you're playing on a touchscreen, double tap the last letter to submit your guess. If you find three valid words of at least four letters that are not part of the theme, you'll unlock the Hint button. Clicking this will highlight the letters that make up one of the theme words. Be warned: You'll need to be on your toes. Sometimes you'll need to fill the missing word(s) in a phrase. On other days, the game may revolve around synonyms or homophones. The difficulty will vary from day to day, and the puzzle creators will try to surprise you sometimes. Scroll slowly! Just after the hint for today's Strands puzzle, I'll reveal what the answer words are. The official theme hint for today's Strands puzzle is... It's a banner day Need some extra help? Here's another hint... Common sights at government buildings There are eight theme words to find today, including the spangram. Spoiler alert! Don't scroll any further down the page until you're ready to find out today's Strands hints. Here are the first two letters of every theme word in today's puzzle. They're ordered from left to right, then top to bottom by any letter of the word appearing for the first time: Before I reveal the other the full word list, I'll first tell you the spangram and show you where that is on the grid. This is your final spoiler warning! Today's Strands spangram is... FLAG SYMBOL Here's where you'll find it on the grid… Today's Strands theme words are... Here's what the completed grid looks like... This felt like one of those Strands puzzle for which the designer came up with a fun spangram shape and built the puzzle around it. Given the theme hint, thought this one would have something to do with sigils. I was close, but that didn't help in my hunt for the spangram. As I found STAR, CROSS and MOON, the spangram became clear and it was easy enough to find the rest of the words. I used no hints and the spangram was the fourth theme word I found. See you tomorrow for more Strands fun! Please follow my blog for more coverage of Strands, Connections and other word games as well as video game news, insights and analysis. It helps me out a lot! The Beyoncé Effect? BeyHive Questions New Grammy Country Switch-Up
Source: Kevin Winter / Getty Okay, we all know that Beyoncé can make the whole world stop with the snap of her fingers, but did she REALLY just convince the Recording Academy to switch up their Grammy categories… just by winning?! Billboard reports that the 'Best Country Album' category will be renamed 'Best Contemporary Country Album.' Meanwhile, a new category, 'Best Traditional Country Album,' will be added. The new change will take effect at the 2026 Grammys 'The community of people that are making country music in all different subgenres came to us with a proposal and said we would like to have more variety in how our music is honored,' Recording Academy CEO Harvey Mason Jr. tells Billboard . 'They said, we think we need more space for our music to be celebrated and honored.' The timing of the change is notable, as it comes months after Beyoncé's big night at the 2025 Grammys. In addition to finally winning 'Album of The Year,' Bey's Cowboy Carter won 'Best Country Album.' With that, she became the first Black woman to win the category. However, many in the country music world slammed her win. Notably, John Rich of country duo Big & Rich called Beyoncé's win 'a total joke' and said that the Recording Academy 'outed themselves' as pushing an agenda. It is also not the first time that a Beyoncé win seemingly created a Grammy shake-up. Previously, she won 'Best Dance/Electronic Album' for Renaissance at the 2023 Grammys. The following year, a new category was introduced, 'Best Dance Pop Recording.' Whether it's simply coincidental or part of a bigger conspiracy, the BeyHive is definitely buzzing!
