Microsoft helping 'Israel' with surveillance to attack Palestinians: report

A joint investigation by The Guardian, +972 Magazine, and Local Call has uncovered that 'Israel's' elite military intelligence Unit 8200 is utilizing Microsoft's Azure cloud platform for an extensive surveillance program, storing millions of Palestinian phone calls. This cloud-based system, operational since 2022, has significantly expanded 'Israel's' intelligence capabilities, raising serious human rights concerns . Unit 8200 reportedly sought Microsoft's assistance due to insufficient storage and computing power on its own servers, aiming to process "a million calls an hour". By July 2025, an estimated 11,500 terabytes of 'Israeli' military data, equivalent to approximately 200 million hours of audio, are projected to be housed on Microsoft's servers, primarily in the Netherlands. This marks a shift from monitoring "tens of thousands of suspects" to "millions of Palestinians" . Intelligence sources allege this data has been used to identify bombing targets in Gaza and for coercive purposes, including blackmail and justifying arrests in the West Bank. The collaboration, initiated after a late 2021 meeting between Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella and then-Unit 8200 Commander Sariel, was viewed internally by Microsoft leadership as a "lucrative business opportunity". Despite Microsoft's public statements of finding "no evidence" its technology was used to harm Palestinians or aid civilian surveillance, leaked documents suggest Microsoft engineers were aware the data would include raw intelligence and audio files. The revelations have intensified protests from Microsoft employees, who have formed campaigns like "No Azure for Apartheid," demanding an end to the company's contracts with the 'Israeli' military.

Israeli authorities extend Al-Aqsa ban on Jerusalem's Grand Mufti for six months

Ammon News - Israeli authorities issued a six-month ban on Sheikh Muhammad Hussein, the Grand Mufti of Jerusalem and the Palestinian Territories, banning him from entering Al-Aqsa Mosque. The Jerusalem Governorate, citing lawyer Khaldoun Najm, affirmed that the occupation decided to ban Sheikh Hussein from Al-Aqsa for six months, following the expiration of his eight-day ban. This ban was imposed following his Friday sermon in which he denounced the occupation's starvation policy against the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip. Israeli forces had summoned Sheikh Hussein on July 27 and handed him an initial eight-day expulsion order from the mosque, with the possibility of renewal. The Ministry of Endowments and Religious Affairs condemned the Israeli decision. It said in a statement on Wednesday that the ban of the Mufti is a clear attempt by the occupation to empty Al-Aqsa of religious authorities who confront its plans and demonstrate the extent and scope of its violations in the Gaza Strip and the West Bank in general, and Al-Aqsa Mosque in particular. Candace Owens accuses Trump of treason over "Israel" boycott aid policy

Conservative commentator Candace Owens has sharply criticized President Donald Trump over his administration's now-reversed policy requiring US cities and states to oppose boycotts of "Israeli" companies in order to qualify for federal disaster aid. In her latest podcast episode with Tucker Carlson, titled "Tucker Carlson and I Discuss Brigitte's Genes and Trump Commits Treason," Owens accused Trump of betraying American values. 'What Trump is doing is considered treason,' she declared, blasting the policy as a betrayal of the American people. US reverses aid policy tying disaster funds to "Israel" boycott stance The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) on Monday quietly removed language from its website that required states to certify they do not support boycotting "Israeli" companies as a condition for receiving Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) funding. The move, initially reported by Reuters, had applied to at least USD 1.9 billion in grants used for search-and-rescue equipment, emergency salaries, and infrastructure. Although the policy was later reversed, Owens expressed outrage over the fact that it was ever implemented. 'He is going to deny Americans in need of disaster funding if he finds out that the city or state they live in is boycotting Israel,' she said. Owens emphasized that Americans have the moral and legal right to boycott any company, foreign or domestic. 'You might say, actually, morally we think it is wrong for us to in any way engage with Israel because we are watching them starve children,' she said, referencing the Israeli siege on Gaza. She went on to warn that conditioning disaster relief on political loyalty to a foreign government sets a dangerous precedent. 'This isn't just wrong, it's un-American,' she added. The original DHS terms had labeled any refusal to do business with "Israeli" companies a 'discriminatory prohibited boycott,' targeting supporters of the Boycott, Divestment, and Sanctions (BDS) movement. That language has since been removed from the updated guidelines.
