fraud detection system
has protected over 3.5 million users in
Delhi-NCR
within 43 days of launch of the new tool.
The statement assumes significance given the rising instances of digital frauds where unsuspecting users are lured online and deceived by scamsters leveraging advanced techniques, malicious links and fake profiles.
"As part of the nationwide rollout of its AI-powered fraud detection system,
Airtel
has successfully safeguarded more than 3.5 million users across the state, within just 43 days of launching its advanced fraud detection system,"

The system, automatically enabled for all Airtel mobile and broadband customers, scans and filters links across SMS, WhatsApp, Telegram, Facebook, Instagram, e-mail, and other browsers.
"It leverages real-time threat intelligence to examine over 1 billion URLs daily and blocks access to harmful sites in under 100 milliseconds," the telco informed.

The Message Summaries rollout comes as part of a broader push by Meta to integrate AI into WhatsApp. Recently, features like the Meta AI button and @Meta AI prompts in chats have also been introduced—though unlike Message Summaries, these AI features are turned on by default and currently cannot be disabled. This latest update follows the platform's recent controversial move to introduce advertisements in the app—a step the app's original founders had strongly opposed. Sule says Shaktipeeth will ruin state finances
Mumbai: A few days after the state cabinet approved the Rs 20,787 crore Nagpur-Goa Shaktipeeth highway, NCP (SP) working president Supriya Sule has stepped into the row over the project, saying the cash-starved state govt will not be able to afford the massive expenditure on the proposal. "State govt must give a serious thought to the huge expenditure on the project, particularly in view of the critical financial situation of the state. It will take several decades to restore the situation. It will have a massive impact on the Marathi people," Sule said. Sule referred to a series of reports in a section of the media, saying there is strong opposition to the project from all sections. "When our financial situation is very bad, still we are in the process of securing a loan of Rs 30,000 crore, with an interest of 8.85%, it is beyond the financial capacity of the state to afford such a high interest," Sule said. "A corridor is being planned from central India to Goa's port to help favoured industrialists export their raw materials abroad. This is a red-carpet project exclusively for them," Sapkal said. Sapkal said that while an allocation of Rs 20,000 crore has been made, the expenditure could go up to Rs 1.5 lakh crore and is a ploy for corrupt profiteering. "This is the beginning of pushing Maharashtra towards bankruptcy, since the debt burden has cross the mark of Rs 9.82 lakh crore," he said.

The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) will soon open a three-day 'Correction Window' for candidates who have applied for the NDA & NA (II), 2025 and CDS (II), 2025 examinations, the central recruiting body said Thursday. The initiative will allow aspirants to rectify mistakes in their application forms, both in the Common Application Form and the Examination Application Form. This is a one-time measure aimed at helping candidates who may have entered incorrect details or uploaded wrong documents during the registration process, the government said. UPSC Chairman Dr. Ajay Kumar explained the reason behind the decision, and said, 'The online portal provides repeated checks, before the final submission of any application form. Despite that, apparently, some mistakes have been made by the applicants in attaching their documents and filling up their details.
