THERE is one thing that should always remain private - and that's a boys' group chat.
If you've ever caught a glimpse of what's been said between a bunch of chest-thumping lads about their sexual exploits, you'll know the majority is bulls***.

Filled with more lies and exaggerations than you could shake a stick at, they'd be thrown in the dog house by their girlfriend if they dared sneak a peek - just as Love Island's Dejon Noel-Williams discovered this week.
He looked like a petrified deer caught in headlights when told his territorial love interest Meg had watched his flirty date with bombshell Malisha and accused him of having "disrespected, violated and embarrassed" her.
It got me thinking during the latest racy challenge, Got The Receipts, about how the Love Islanders' throwaway claims about their sexual escapades could be having a damaging impact on the ITV2 show's younger audience.
Last night we heard naughty confessions from Harry having an orgy with an entire football team, to Remell enjoying 20 threesomes and sleeping with five women in one night.
Just like what happens in a boys' chat, it's entirely plausible these lads embellished their sex life history having got carried away talking to producers to get on the show.
But unlike in a boys' chat, these exploits have been aired on telly - setting unrealistic and dangerous standards for the young boys and girls watching.
With Love Island's most engaged audience aged between 16-24, it's worrisome that they are being led to believe it's normal for a group of 20-somethings to have engaged in a number of promiscuous encounters - from orgies to joining the mile-high club.
Dr. Tara Suwinyattichaiporn, who stars as a sex and relationship expert on E4's Celebs Go Dating, warns that airing these kinds of sexually explicit conversations can "do more harm than good".
She told The Sun: "As a certified sexologist and professor, I am an advocate for sex positivity, and openly communicating about sex.
"I often talk about group sex and casual sex in an educational context.
Love Island THREESOME shock as bombshell propositions two islanders
"However, it is important to acknowledge that conversations portrayed on TV that sensationalise promiscuous behaviours can be extremely damaging to young girls in our modern society.
"This is because it is talked about outside of comprehensive sex education, healthy sex context, and without proper communication and discourse around consent, sexual self-esteem and sexual agency this sort of conversation can do more harm than good."
It's important to note that reactions to the Love Islanders' racy revelations were met with contrasting views - depending on the gender of those involved.
Despite having claimed to have enjoyed a group orgy with a female football team, Harry described Helena as a "good time girl" after confessing to having a threesome.
The most shocking sex confessions of the series
THE sex confessions of the 2025 summer Love Islanders so far... Harry had an orgy with an entire women's football team
Helena admitted she had a threesome with two men
Remell confessed the most people he's slept with in a night is five and he's had 20 threesomes
Shea romped with a 50-year-old when he was 19
Yasmin offers Dejon a threesome with her and Toni
Yasmin boasted about affairs and breaking up relationships
As she quite rightly pointed out, it's Harry who turns every one of their conversations sexual, while complaining he's not sure if there's more to their relationship than just that.
The double standard led fans to label him a "misogynistic hypocrite" and call for his removal from the show.
Meanwhile Yasmin was slammed for downplaying Shea's shock admission that he'd slept with a 50-year-old woman when he was 19, describing him as "troublesome".
Shakria, who was kissed (out of the blue) by Blu was slated by Harry, who retaliated by sneaking out of the bedroom and taking Helena to the Hideaway for a night of passion.
It may be 2025, but the striking difference between the reaction depending on whether it was a male or female involved stands out.
Back in the early days of Love Island, viewers watched stars have sex on top of the covers, but now it's much more toned down.
If there is any hanky panky going on between the sheets, it's merely insinuated with a close up of the couple's interlinked feet in bed or the wobble of items on a bedside cabinet.
It therefore seems odd to have claims of wild sex scenarios aired as if they were undoubtedly true.
I've often complained the over-censoring of Love Island's most recent series has taken the spice out of the show.
But the juxtaposition of putting welfare first by ditching safe sex scenes only to replace it with more obscene and raunchy chat about it seems at odds.

The first week had viewers gripped with villa drama and explosive moments. Despite recent tensions, a U-turn saw them share a passionate kiss in Tuesday's episode. However, show alums Amy Hart and Indiyah Polack had earlier predicted things could go awry for the couple. Speaking on their Love Island: Morning After podcast on Monday, Amy said: "Thing is as well, with Remell and Alima, most people can count, right? "You go in the villa and there's more boys than girls. Which means that boys will be at risk. "So, I need to find a girl - and I'm not saying that Alima was an easy option. "She's a beautiful girl with a beautiful heart and she's amazing." Continuing, Amy remarked how Remell "didn't even speak to anyone else" and observed her bond with Blu wasn't the strongest. She added: "He saw her and was like, 'That's my target' and then now he's wanting to kiss people in the challenge. "I just think, on paper, it looks like Remell came straight in for Alima, went for her and now they're in a couple. Love Island fans slam Harry for VERY rude move during the challenge - did you spot it? "Whereas it's not all those things." The villa couple previously butted heads when Remell kissed anyone but his partner in a challenge. Alima told him: 'I think you were so disrespectful, I'm not gonna lie…do you feel like you did everything right?' Their conversation continued, as Alima added: 'You say you like me and do things that just don't match, it's worse you can't even take accountability…maybe we're not compatible…" Following this - and after their kiss - Remell chose to stay coupled with Alima in the latest recoupling. It comes as a major twist sees two other girls have their spots in the villa put in jeopardy. It will be down to a new bombshell to decide who stays and who goes. Love Island airs on ITV2 and ITVX.

Love Island fans fuming as show 'scraps' iconic segment after huge cliffhanger
Love Island fans were left on a huge cliff hanger following new bombshell Harrison's arrival during tonight's show - but left fuming after a key segment was 'missing' from the show After an eventful night in the Love Island villa following a tense recoupling, the Islanders were left in even more shock with the arrival of new bombshell Harrison Solomon. He had a dramatic entrance to the show, as he was told he had the power to dump one of the single girls. Harrison's arrival came after a shock recoupling, in which the power was in the boys hands. Following the eventful night, both Malisha and Toni were left single - and they were both sent on dates with the bombshell. However, they were told Harrison would decide who to bring back after the date - with the other dumped. As always, fans were left on a dramatic cliff hanger, as it's not clear whether Malisha or Toni will be sent home. Fans will have to tune in tomorrow to see their fate - but they were left fuming that they weren't even graced with a teaser for "tomorrow night" at the end of the show. Love Island fans are regularly treated to a dramatic teaser of what's to come the following night at the end of the show, with voiceover Ian Sterling exclaiming: "Tomorrow Night!" However, fans can't help but notice the lack of snippets they've been given this series, and they're less than impressed. Taking to X, formerly known as Twitter, one fan penned: "The lack of Tomorrow night promo is pmo, I need to know what's going to happen so I can mentally prepare myself #LoveIsland #LoveIslandUK," as another said: "where did the tomorrow night promos go? #LoveIsland #LoveIslandUK" A third enraged fan penned: "7 days and no tomorrow night? Is the editor not getting paid enough? #Loveisland," while a fourth joked: "Why are they suddenly allergic to the 'Tomorrow Night' promos?! #LoveIsland #LoveIslandUK." Due to the lack of promo, fans have had to predict their own outcome of the show - as they predict Harrison will bring back Toni due to them both residing in the US. Toni currently lives in Vegas, whereas Harrison is living in Miami, despite being from Derby. Prior to his entrance into the villa, the US college soccer player and student made it very clear he wasn't afraid to step on toes. When asked about how he felt about splitting up a couple, Harrison said: "That's what I have to do. I'm not here to make friends. If the girl is for me, I'm going to grab that. "That's no issue. I'm in there for myself at the end of the day." He's clear on what he's here for too, explaining that his type is " someone who is fiery and got a bit of an attitude." "I don't want someone boring in the corner. I want someone who has got a bit of substance and voices their opinion. Confidence, being family oriented is a big one for me and someone who is ambitious, too," he revealed. Like Toni, Harrison is currently residing in the US, but he's ready to make long distance work. "I've done long distance before so it's not really an issue for me. I don't know if or when I'm going back to America. But that's not an issue. If you like a person you'll make it work," he said. How will Harrison's arrival change the dynamics of the villa?
