While homes developed by Isprava are listed on Lohono Stays for rent and have an average room rental of ₹12,000–15,000 per night, under
Lohono Luma
, the average room rent will be ₹8,000–10,000.
'Since most of the homes will be 3BHK, the average rent for a villa per night will be ₹25,000, which will open the brand to a broader category. However, there will be no compromise on the level of service, as we will continue to cater to the traveller seeking luxury,' said Dhimaan Shah, Executive Director & Co-CEO, Isprava Group (Isprava, Lohono Stays, The Chapter).
The Chapter has acquired over 100 acres across key holiday locations.
The first project is spread over 2.25 acres adjacent to the Moira River in north Goa's Aldona locality.
'Millennials and Gen Zs are changing the dynamics of luxury spending, where it's no longer restricted to just the affluent. With villas and amenities crafted to exacting standards, Luma ensures that every guest enjoys the essence of luxury that defines the Lohono experience—even at an accessible price point,' said Nibhrant Shah, Managing Director & Co-CEO, Isprava Group (Isprava, Lohono Stays, The Chapter).
Lohono Stays has a portfolio of over 275 villas across 12 domestic and five international destinations, including Goa, Alibaug, Lonavala, Srinagar, Mussoorie, and Coonoor, as well as the Maldives, Phuket, Bali, and Koh Samui.
Isprava Group had raised nearly ₹200 crore in a funding round led by London Stock Exchange-listed Symphony International Holdings to support its plan to increase its footprint across India.

Millennials, Gen Z Account For Two-Thirds Of Blue-Collar Job Applicants: Report
Mumbai: In the blue collar category, Millennials and Gen Z continued to remain among the country's highest job-seeking population, accounting for 65 per cent of all job applications in 2024 as well as 2025, a report said on Saturday. Among these, the surge in jobseeking has been most among the 20-23 years cohort, which saw a 50.7 per cent year-on-year increase in applications, according to a report by blue and grey-collar job platform WorkIndia. This youngest working-age group, largely comprising recent graduates, contributed to an 85.5 per cent rise in applications, reflecting a strong intent to enter the workforce early, it stated. Even candidates with lower formal education levels (below 10th standard) showed a 37.4 per cent growth, indicating a widening base of job readiness and aspiration across educational backgrounds, the report added. Millennials are those born between the early 1980s and the mid-1990s, and Gen Zs are those born from the mid-1990s to the early 2010s. The report is based on data analysis of 111.71 million job seekers on the WorkIndia platform from January 2024 to July 2025. The report further revealed that while both young men and women are actively applying for jobs early in their careers, gender dynamics reveal some divergence in the late 20s. Women's application rates in the 27-29 year age group have stagnated, while those of their male counterparts continued to rise, indicating the need for a closer look at career drop-offs or barriers for women in that age bracket. It also found the growing willingness to travel for jobs, reflecting increased flexibility among the youth. Applications for 'labourer' roles surged by 98 per cent, with a surge of 136 per cent among 20-23-year-olds. Other fast-growing job categories include typist and data entry roles (67 per cent) and law-related positions (61 per cent), followed by steady interest in sales, HR, and manufacturing roles, said the report. Meanwhile, the report found that job applications from tier-IV cities jumped 54.9 per cent, suggesting that local economies are beginning to thrive and that candidates are increasingly seeking viable careers closer to home. "From tier I cities to tier IV towns, we're witnessing a workforce that is bold, mobile, and hungry for growth. It's a clear signal that India's next big leap will come from the ground up, and platforms like ours have a responsibility to fuel that momentum," WorkIndia CEO and Co-founder Nilesh Dungarwal said.

Sarnath poised for UNESCO World Heritage recognition
Lucknow, Aug 8 (UNI) The Uttar Pradesh Tourism Department has accelerated preparations to have Sarnath, the world-renowned Buddhist site in Varanasi, inscribed on UNESCO's prestigious World Heritage List. A high-level meeting was held today at the Directorate of Tourism here between senior officials of the Tourism Department and the Archaeological Survey of India (ASI) to finalise strategies ahead of the crucial UNESCO session in September. The meeting reviewed the nomination process, ongoing conservation work, and the roadmap for the months ahead. India has officially nominated Sarnath under the 2025–26 UNESCO World Heritage nomination cycle. Currently, Uttar Pradesh has three UNESCO-listed sites: the Taj Mahal, Agra Fort, and Fatehpur Sikri, all located in Agra. If inscribed, Sarnath will become the state's first Buddhist site to gain this recognition, elevating its profile on the global cultural map. Principal Secretary for Tourism and Culture, Mukesh Kumar Meshram, along with ASI leadership, discussed the detailed progress made over the past 18 months. The deliberations covered ecological conservation, sustainable tourism development, and the role of the Eco-Tourism Development Board. Plans include stakeholder consultations in Varanasi involving local communities, religious institutions, and tourism operators. The Principal Secretary also praised the efforts of the Central Institute of Higher Tibetan Studies in preserving and promoting Buddhist philosophy. He suggested new projects to strengthen the cultural experience at Sarnath, including a Vipassana Meditation Centre, a Knowledge Park, Ayurveda-based wellness facilities, and improved multilingual signage. He highlighted that Sarnath, along with other key Buddhist sites like Kapilvastu, Shravasti, Sankisa, Kushinagar, and Kaushambi, is now connected by improved infrastructure. International visitors also benefit from nearby airports in Varanasi and Kushinagar, and significant pilgrim flows arrive from Nepal and other Buddhist nations. Tourism and Culture Minister Jaiveer Singh said, 'Sarnath is a priceless jewel of our cultural and spiritual heritage. The inclusion of Sarnath as a UNESCO World Heritage Site will not only give it global recognition but also strengthen tourism, local livelihoods, and the preservation of our shared human history.' Principal Secretary Mukesh Kumar Meshram added, 'Having Sarnath inscribed on the UNESCO list will be a legacy for future generations. This sacred land where Lord Buddha gave his first sermon will become a bridge connecting people worldwide to our history, traditions, and culture. It will also open new avenues for tourism, research and cultural exchange.' Officials from Varanasi also joined the meeting via video conference, presenting a framework for final preparations. Bhante Shri Sumedha of the Central Institute of Higher Tibetan Studies in Sarnath praised the Tourism Department's efforts and offered suggestions to the ASI team. He reminded the gathering that Sarnath holds unparalleled significance for Buddhists worldwide, being the place where Buddha delivered his first sermon. The Uttar Pradesh government's ambitious Buddhist Circuit includes several temples built with international collaboration, attracting visitors from across the globe. He expressed gratitude to Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath for their support. As one of the most important Buddhist pilgrimage destinations, Sarnath meets key UNESCO criteria, including being an outstanding example of human creative genius and representing significant stages in human history. The site will undergo UNESCO's multi-stage evaluation process, from inclusion in the Tentative List to potential full inscription. The meeting in Lucknow was attended by Principal Secretary for Tourism and Culture Mukesh Kumar Meshram; ASI Director General Yaduveer Singh Rawat; ASI Additional Director General Jahnwij Sharma; Special Secretary for Tourism Isha Priya; Director of Tourism (Eco) Prakhar Mishra; ASI Lucknow Head Aftab Hussain; and other senior tourism officials. Country Garden's liquidation hearing adjourned to January 5
HONG KONG: Chinese property developer Country Garden confirmed on Thursday that the Hong Kong High Court had adjourned a hearing into a liquidation petition against it to January 5, 2026. The adjournment was earlier posted on the Hong Kong judiciary's website. The hearing was originally scheduled for August 11, 2025. Once a top developer by sales in the country, Country Garden defaulted on its offshore debt in late 2023 and is now trying to gain lenders' support on its restructuring proposal that aims to cut $14.1 billion of that debt by 78%. Getting enough creditor support on the restructuring proposal is essential for Country Garden to convince the court to reject the petition, which was filed last year by Ever Credit, a unit of Hong Kong-listed Kingboard .
