Starbucks workers at roughly 100 locations strike over new dress code
Over 1,200 Starbucks workers went on strike over a newly enforced dress code. They say the company should provide stipends to pay for new clothes.
June is almost here, which means the official beginning of summer is on the horizon.
Starbucks will be introducing four new Frappuccino beverages in July, but this week offered USA TODAY a sneak peek at the flavors.
The flavors will include:
Salted Caramel Mocha Strato Frappuccino
Strawberry Matcha Strato Frappuccino
Brown Sugar Strato Frappuccino
Firework Frappuccino
The first three flavors listed are blended beverages layered with cold foam, according to a Starbucks spokesperson, while the Firework Frappuccino is a "festive twist" on the Summer-Berry Refresher.
Starbucks has not yet given a specific release date for the beverages, however the Firework Frappuccino is expected to arrive "just in time for the 4th of July," according to Starbucks.
These new drink offerings come as the coffee chain cut several Frappuccinos and other drinks from its menu back in March.
Starbucks summer menu available now
The coffee chain announced its summer menu earlier this month, with the items available nationwide beginning May 20.
The summer menu features a new Iced Horchata Oatmilk Shaken Espresso and returns fan-favorite Summer-Berry Starbucks Refreshers and a new Strawberries & Cream Cake Pop.
The Iced Horchata Oatmilk Shaken Espresso features Starbucks Blonde Espresso paired with oatmilk and an horchata flavored syrup, which is a fusion of cinnamon, sweet vanilla and subtle nutty notes reminiscent of the rice milk that makes up a traditional horchata, according to Starbucks.
The Summer-Berry Refreshers return after initially being introduced in 2024. The drinks feature a "sweet and summery blend" of raspberry, blueberry and blackberry flavors shaken with ice and water, poured over raspberry flavored pearls. The refreshers can be ordered with lemonade in the Summer-Berry Lemonade Refresher or with coconut milk in the Summer Skies Drink.
The drinks are available for a limited time, while supplies last this summer.

Beyoncé Braves The Pouring Rain At MetLife Stadium In Ultimate ‘Cowboy Carter' Performance
Source: Alex Slitz / Getty As the Cowboy Carter tour bucks on, Beyoncé continues to give her fans exactly what they want (and paid a hefty sum for), even if that means she has to brave the elements to do so. During her fourth night at New Jersey's MetLife Stadium for her sold-out Cowboy Carter tour , Beyoncé didn't let a torrential downpour stop her from performing the nearly three-hour show with songs from her Grammy-winning album. Per USA Today , the rain came before the show began at a little after 8 p.m. local time, and the stage was thoroughly wiped down before Beyoncé went on. As she opened the show, Beyoncé addressed the large crowd and thanked them for their decades of support throughout her career. 'Thank you for your love, dedication and for your loyalty over 25 years,' she said. The rain continued throughout the entirety of the concert. Still, she proceeded on, and her fans were right there with her even though their carefully curated fashion ensembles and hairstyles were drenched. However, in true Beyhive fashion, if Beyoncé can deal with an obstacle then they will follow suit. Mama Tina Knowles praised her daughter for being the ultimate performer in an Instagram post. 'Oh my God !!! You cannot talk her out of flying and pouring down rain!🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽Just had to get on my knees and pray❤️🙏🏽,' she captioned a clip of Bey flying through the air on a giant horseshoe. Towards the end of the May 28 show, she thanked her fans again, but this time it was specifically for braving the rain with her. 'Thank y'all for giving all this energy in the cold and rain. I love you deep deep deep,' she said. Beyoncé will take the stage at MeLife Stadium for a fifth night on Thursday, May 29. Her next tour stop will be across the pond to London, England for a six-night run of shows at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium beginning June 5. Beyoncé closed out her New York shows in style with a bold fashion tribute to Jay-Z
Hear this story AI-assisted summary Beyoncé concluded her New York area shows for her Cowboy Carter and Rodeo Chitlin' Circuit Tour with a performance at MetLife Stadium. The singer debuted several new outfits, including one featuring a tribute to her husband, Jay-Z. The tour continues with upcoming dates in London and will conclude in Las Vegas in July. Beyoncé Knowles-Carter ended her first U.S. stint with a bang in the New York area, serving fresh looks and paying homage to her husband, Jay-Z. The Grammy-winning singer hit the stage for her fifth show at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey, on May 29. The concert marked Beyoncé's final performance in the New York area — East Rutherford, New Jersey — on her Cowboy Carter and Rodeo Chitlin' Circuit Tour. She first kicked off her New York area run on May 22. During the show, Beyoncé rocked several new, show-stopping looks, making a fashion statement throughout the evening. One of her notable new looks appeared during her "Alligator Tears" performance. Beyoncé entered the stage in a black cowboy hat, a black furry coat, and black buckled pants paired with a corset. Many fans instantly took note of the ensemble with one saying, " Oh, this new look is the best yet on the entire tour. Once again, I'm gagged." Need a break? Another head-turner came later in the show, when Beyoncé donned an "NY" cowboy hat, sparkly chaps, a fringed varsity jacket, and a T-shirt featuring a throwback photo of her husband, hip-hop mogul Jay-Z, who was born in Brooklyn. The outfit made for a special moment when Beyoncé included a snippet of his 2008 hit "I'm a Hustler" in her set. Beyoncé's tour has been a huge showcase of fashion and creativity, while also putting a spotlight on the Black-owned brand Telfar. Each night, Beyoncé continues to blend high fashion and cowboy couture, keeping fans on the edge of their seats as they anticipate a new look. There's been many looks incorporating Western-glam: sparkly chaps, cowboy hats, boots and piles of fringe. And her New York closer was no different. As fans know, Beyoncé first released the 27-track project in March 2024. It has since made history and broken multiple records. As Beyoncé's first country album, she deliberately featured country legends and emerging Black country artists alike. She became the first Black woman to win best country album at the 2025 Grammys and also took home album of the year. Of course, Beyoncé first debuted her "Cowboy Carter" tour at SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles on April 28 with 39 songs on the set list. The concerts have been revolutionary shows filled with family, fashion, different music genres, and most notably country music and cultural commentary. The nine-city tour will span the U.S. and Europe with the grand finale taking place in Las Vegas on July 26. Her next stop will be in London at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on June 5, 7, 10, 12, 14 and 16.
