A tractor-trailer rollover shut down a stretch of the West Highway 401 Collector lanes at Neilson Rd. A stretch of Highway 401 has reopened in Scarborough after a tractor-trailer rollover on the highway. Ontario Provincial Police say the westbound collector lanes of the highway were shut down at Neilson Road for the collision as well as the transfer lanes to the express. One person was taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, according to police, and was subsequently charged with careless driving. Collector lanes reopened shortly before 10 a.m.

Two people injured in fiery crash on Hwy 11 in Muskoka
An OPP cruiser is pictured in this undated photo. (Source: OPP Central Region) Two people were taken to the hospital following a collision on Highway 11 in Bracebridge Thursday morning. Emergency crews responded to the the single-vehicle crash at Stephenson Road 2 West to find flames coming from the car. Police closed Highway 11 southbound in both directions for the investigation. Shortly after 9 a.m., traffic was permitted through the right lane, while the left lane remained closed. Police described the two individual's injuries as non-life-threatening. The cleanup and investigation are ongoing. It's unclear what caused the collision.
