Former Inter Milan goalkeeper Sebastien Frey turned 44 yesterday.
Despite his French origins, he spent most of his professional career in Italy.
Indeed, Inter signed him from Cannes in 1998 as an up-and-coming young gun.
However, after mostly playing second fiddle to Gianluca Pagliuca, he left the club to join Parma.
After six years at Ennio Tardini, Sebastien Frey moved to Fiorentina, while his Serie A adventure ended at Genoa in 2013.
Though his spell at the San Siro was brief, Inter took to X to wish Frey a happy 44th birthday.

GREY GOOSE® VODKA DEBUTS "GREY GOOSE HÔTEL," A NEW GLOBAL CAMPAIGN STARRING ZOE SALDAÑA

The campaign draws on the brand's French sensibility and encourages consumers to savour moments of pleasure instead of obsessing over productivity. GREY GOOSE will unveil new creative vignettes and immersive experiential pop-ups later this year where people will be able to "check in" and experience joyful moments at the GREY GOOSE Hôtel. HAMILTON, Bermuda, June 9, 2025 /PRNewswire/ -- GREY GOOSE®, the quintessential French vodka, is proud to premiere "GREY GOOSE Hôtel," a new global campaign launching with a series of creative shorts starring Oscar-winning actor Zoe Saldaña. The films were brought to life by GREY GOOSE vodka's newly awarded creative agency of record, BBH USA, in collaboration with Director Martin Werner, Director of Photography Rodrigo Prieto and Executive Producers Laura Macauley and Jen Beitler. Together, GREY GOOSE and BBH USA crafted the campaign with a fresh perspective, delivering bold, yet playful storytelling in the creative. With this campaign, GREY GOOSE is calling on audiences to live as the French do: taking enjoyment into their own hands and savouring the good times, instead of obsessing over productivity, a focus that research shows is afflicting many in the U.S today. "The opportunity to work with GREY GOOSE again after almost two decades has been such an amazing full circle moment, and I feel especially aligned with this campaign's message of living in the present," said Saldaña, "Working on 'GREY GOOSE Hôtel' has been the great reminder to stop fretting about being productive and start saying 'yes' to more moments that inspire joie de vivre." The Films The campaign includes films set at the GREY GOOSE Hôtel, a destination that captures the mindset of a European holiday, a moment where people dress, eat and drink better and where time appears to be nonexistent. In the premiere spot, a 30-second film titled "Last-ish Call," Saldaña mischievously tiptoes across the hotel after the bar closes, quietly collecting cocktail essentials from the lobby and kitchen to help extend the good times together just a little bit longer. After all, "last call" at the GREY GOOSE Hôtel is merely a suggestion. In "Not So Dry Martini Cocktail," another 30-second spot debuting in mid-July, Saldaña and friends are soaking up the sun beachside with GREY GOOSE cocktails when a sudden rainstorm threatens to spoil their fun. Not letting it ruin the moment, the group embraces and laughs off the weather, transforming their drinks into "not-so-dry" martini cocktails. "At the heart of our new campaign is the GREY GOOSE Hôtel, a living expression of our belief that pleasure is essential," said Aleco Azqueta, GREY GOOSE Global Vice President of Marketing. "Time is meant to be enjoyed, not just managed. When we're always rushing, we miss the moments that truly matter. 'Make Time Wait' is our call to rediscover joy, not in what we check off our to-do list, but in what we truly take in." The campaign will roll out across linear TV, online video and social media starting on June 12, and will air during thrilling moments this summer that embody the joie de vivre that this campaign is looking to inspire, including the NBA Finals, U.S. Open Golf Championship, Wimbledon and the US Open Tennis Championship. Additional content, including behind-the-scenes looks at the making of the films and a demo from Saldaña on her go-to summer cocktail--Le Zoé Spritz--will also be available on the brand's Instagram channels (@greygoose). All the details in the creative campaign were carefully selected to reflect the mindset of joie de vivre and indulgence that the GREY GOOSE Hôtel evokes, from the set in Lake Como, one of Europe's premiere destinations, to the sophisticated yet playful outfits and the rich upbeat music. The Experiences Beyond the screen, consumers will be invited to "check in" and experience the world of the GREY GOOSE Hôtel at rolling activations throughout the year. Milan risk missing out on Bennacer, Theo Hernandez and Chukwueze cash

Milan are facing problems, as Olympique Marseille won't pay the Ismael Bennacer option, while Atletico Madrid offers for Theo Hernandez and Betis for Samuel Chukwueze are too low. The Rossoneri have failed to qualify for any European competition this season after finishing eighth in the Serie A table, which means they will have to tighten their belts a little. Advertisement Though Tijjani Reijnders is on his way to Manchester City, they were still hoping to bring in some fresh revenue with other player sales. Milan had hoped to cash in on players MILAN, ITALY – APRIL 02: Theo Hernandez reacts during the Coppa Italia Semi Final match between AC Milan and FC Internazionale at Stadio Giuseppe Meazza on April 02, 2025 in Italy. (Photo by) The first was Bennacer, who had an option to buy for €12m which Olympique Marseille are not prepared to pay. Because the midfielder made only 12 appearances in his six-month loan, argue Marseille are hoping to negotiate another loan experience instead. On top of that, Sky Sport Italia transfer pundit Gianluca Di Marzio warns that the opening Atletico Madrid offer for Theo Hernandez is only €15m, considerably lower than they were hoping for. Advertisement It's a blow after the player rejected a far more lucrative proposal from Al-Hilal. MILAN, ITALY – OCTOBER 19: Samuel Chukwueze scores the opening goal during the Serie A match between AC Milan and Udinese Calcio at Stadio Giuseppe Meazza on October 19, 2024 in Italy. (Photo by) Chukwueze is also on his way out, but negotiations with Real Betis are still at very early stages. It is unlikely to match the €21.1m plus up to €7m in add-ons that the Rossoneri paid to sign him from Villarreal in 2023.

Official – Inter Milan Appoint 2010 Treble Hero Cristian Chivu As New Coach

Official – Inter Milan Appoint 2010 Treble Hero Cristian Chivu As New Coach Inter Milan have appointed 2010 treble winner Cristian Chivu as the club's new coach to replace Simone Inzaghi. The Nerazzurri confirmed the Romanian's appointment in an announcement on their homepage. He has signed a two-year contract until the end of June 2027. Advertisement Inter Milan have spent the past few days searching for a new coach. Earlier this week, Simone Inzaghi confirmed that he was stepping down as coach. The 49-year-old joined Saudi Pro League club Al-Hilal. There were a few notable candidates on Inter's shortlist, according to reports. The Nerazzurri had been working on snapping up Cesc Fabregas to become Inzaghi's successor. However, Como President Mirwan Suwarson strongly rebuffed the Nerazzurri's interest, and stated that the Lariani would refuse to release the Spaniard. Meanwhile, Genoa coach Patrick Vieira was another name reportedly on Inter's shortlist. (Photo by) But in the end, it is Cristian Chivu who Inter have appointed as their new coach. Advertisement The Romanian had already had a long association with Inter going back to his playing days. Chivu joined the Nerazzurri from Roma in the summer of 2007. Along with the Giallorossi, he had also previously played for Ajax. Chivu would spent six seasons playing for Inter before hanging up his boots. Then in 2019, the former defender returned to Inter Milan to coach at various youth team levels. In 2021 he became the coach of the Primavera, or Under-19 team, a role he held for three seasons. This campaign, Chivu became the head coach of Parma, replacing Fabio Pecchia in midseason. This was his first senior coaching position. Advertisement Chivu guided the Gialloblu to Serie A safety after a bad run of form under Pecchia had put them in a precarious position. The thirteen matches that Chivu was in charge of Parma for constitute his only senior coaching experience. Therefore, the 44-year-old will have a lot to prove with Inter. As a player, meanwhile, as a player Chivu made 168 appearances for Inter across all competitions. He scored three goals for the club. Notably, the Romanian helped Inter to the European Treble of the Serie A title, the Coppa Italia, and the Champions League in the 2009-10 season. He started against Bayern Munich in that Champions League final.
