Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday issued a stern warning to Pakistan from the Lok Sabha that if they dare to imagine doing anything against India, then they will be given a befitting reply, as India's Operation Sindoor is still underway.
Over his remark, Tiwary said PM Modi is saying that the Operation Sindoor is still underway, then how can a match against Pakistan be scheduled.
"Our Prime Minister is saying that Operation Sindoor is still going on. How can we play a match with Pakistan?" Tiwary asked.
Meanwhile, the tournament opener is placed between Afghanistan and Hong Kong on September 9. India will kick off their campaign against UAE on September 10, while the high-voltage game against Pakistan is scheduled for the 14th. India will play their final group stage fixture against Oman on September 19.
After the group stage, the tournament will proceed to the Super 4, where the top two teams from each group will qualify. The final is scheduled on September 28.

We realised the enormity of the situation two days before the match. There was a campaign on social media,' he added. However, Tomar agreed that he failed to read the emotions of the Indian audience, saying the match between India and Pakistan should not have been scheduled in the first place. 'I felt really bad. You raised questions about me; I get that. But you raised questions on Yuvraj Singh, who was battling cancer, and still he played the World Cup. We are Indians, we are emotional. We were being bashed on social media, and we didn't want to do anything wrong. We failed to read the emotions, and it was premature on our part to want to go ahead with the match,' said the WCL owner. 'The entire Indian team had the stance of not going ahead with the match against Pakistan. All 15 players decided not to play against Pakistan,' he concluded.

IANS reported that the Vice President is elected by an electoral college consisting of members from both the Lok Sabha and the Rajya Sabha. The 2025 electoral college is composed of 788 members, including 233 elected (presently five seats are vacant in the Upper House) and 12 nominated members of the Rajya Sabha, and 543 elected members of the Lok Sabha (one seat vacant in the Lower House). Currently, there are 782 members in the electoral college due to vacant seats. The election is conducted via a secret ballot using a system of proportional representation with a single transferable vote. The ECI has appointed the Secretary General of the Rajya Sabha as the Returning Officer for the election.
